Thanks for this Anton. Your comments are always so positive and supportive. And much appreciated.

@Summerabbacat, thank you for the comment. When I was younger (much younger) I trained and worked as a chef in hotels and golf clubs. Strangely enough, my own food choices tend to be rather simple rather than grand meals. Maybe it has to do with the fact that I had to deal with top class catering for so long. But I guess my experiences translate very well to to story.

@pvtguy. At least you're taking the jog around the city. Some would just recline on a sunbed with their full bellys dragging their eyelids down. But then, what better way t have a vacation!

Thanks for the comment Chris. Coming up with interesting meals is sometime more challenging than the actual storyline.

Thanks Anton. You and all my loyal readers are all so encouraging and supportive. I will admit to having sleepless nights if I haven't been able to post anything for a while.

Hermanus is a special place. In fact that entire coastline is special. Had the incredible experience of actually seeing Southern Right calve. Absolutely magical moment!

No better way to spend your time in my humble opinion!

Hi Jim. Thank you for the comment. I think my reply to @drsawzall applies to you as well.

Hi @drsawzall. 😊Your comment brought a smile to my face after a very stressful week, so thank you. Unfortunately, whether it be on a yacht or a liner, food comes with the territory. Thank you for your continued support.

As 'Lady Janice' slid smoothly down the length of the peninsula, Ray served a light, cold lunch on the Sun Deck consisting of an Avocado & Cucumber Soup with diced crayfish tail, Chicken Pasta Salad with Mango and a Honey Mustard dressing, freshly baked seed bread, and Frozen Two Chocolate Mousse with Tulle biscuits. The adults all lingered at the table, chatting and watching the spectaculer coastline slide past, while the children splashed in the tub on the aft deck In the late afternoon,

And yet it's amazing just how close those documentaries come to the real thing. Of course, having had the pleasure of working at a game lodge, nothing can compare to the real thing. It was an amazing experience!

I'm absolutely convinced some of you guys have got access to my notes! That all I am saying

Thanks for the good wishes Anton. Please see my reply to @drsawzall above. As far as Joan is concerned - yeah she can be a tough lady when she wants to be. But she is very fond of Andrew and Ryan and my feeling is that she will allow them to get away with just about anything.

There will definitely be more about the game lodge. I had the pleasure of working at one (obviously the one in my book is based on that one) and I will be uploading a few photos as well. It was an amazing experience.

Thanks as always Chris

Not quite. The solar panels primarily charge the lithium batteries. The electric motors are the primary source of propulsion - diesels are there for backup and used only when absolutely needed.

In my timeline for the story, we are still a year or two from that sad event.

I will admit there is a lot lot of me in Andrew. When I was working in the hospitality industry I would always above and beyond to ensure that my guest had the most enjoyable stay possible.

They drove away from 'Belle Catherine' at six-thirty on Saturday morning. The day had dawned bright and clear with temperatures predicted to be quite hot during the day. The drive to the resort through rolling farmland was very easy, there being almost no traffic, and as it was so early, a filmy layer of mist still covered the fields of wheat, canola and lupins. With it being a weekend right bang in the middle of the December holiday season, it was no surprise that the resort was busy, as the

Must have been you making me feel I must get the chapter uploaded. Thank you.

Hi @mansexlover. Thank you for the comment. I think my reply to @Anton_Clocheappllies here as well. I am one of the fortunate people who can eat anything and everything.

Hi Anton. Thank you for the salutations and comment. Firstly, I would not say I am completely over it. The doctor says it will be while before that happens and my lungs took a big hit. My change of season allergies are not helping either. Although Andrew and Ryan are very hands on parents, they give the children space in which to grow. And its very much a case of 'do as i say not as I do', although in this case it is really both - ie leading by example.
-
I was always fascinated by them when we saw them on our trips. Whales as well.

Thank you Jim. As much as I try to keep the storyline as 'lighthearted' as possible, sometimes darker and more controversial subjects need to be addressed, (without getting too heavy). if the need arises, as in when Beth and Nicky passed away and the aftermath thereof, then yes, deal with it and move on. Otherwise I just like a make brief mention of it.

Thank you. Good to be back.
