I'm not surprised at anything that went on in the Korner while I was gone. I lurked the entire time. I broke down less than 2 hours on-board and got internet. I saw what all was going on. Misbehaving miscreants. As far as any possible "cure"? It's hard to say at this point. Sometimes the answer is something no one ever thought of. Sometimes one of you hits the nail on the head. Trevor is still a game player at this point. He might have a nasty surprise in store for him one of these days. The clues are all there. Awwww.... I knew you missed me!

Kage is certainly a guiding force. That much is clear. The extent of his guidance is still unknown. Sebastian is a kick-ass Alpha. He rocks. Cameron is a character I hope to develop a little bit more if the storyline allows. He's an awesome kid. At this point anything is a possibility when it comes to the fate of the status of the hybrid pups. Maybe the twins are next?

I don't know how I overlooked that observation? Lol.. Your fear is valid. Once word gets out none of the hybrids still out there will be safe.

I imagine if they are still alive they will present their own challenges having been stuck in hybrid form for so long. Being isolated from a pack for 7 years can't be good. Who knows if they're even still together anymore?

The teams do need to be prepared for anything, but many of those things should only be used as a last resort. Drugs, including tranquilizers tend to be rather ineffective on shifters. Although there are things that can be used. I'll have to check with Donovan. Chains and muzzles may traumatize them further. Strong soap? Maybe more along the lines of Irish Spring rather than Lava soap? Lol

Hurricanes vs. Earthquakes? At least we know a hurricane is coming! 1. Tyler isn't always the most tactful person. He didn't mean to be cruel, he just didn't think. I'm sure Cameron realized this. 2. Throuple of souls? I need to remember this one! Whoever Elijah ends up with as a mate will have to come to terms with Kage always holding a piece of Elijah’s heart and vice versa. 3. There were human and shifter scientists. Mostly human, so I guess anything is possible.

I'm glad your relatives are okay. Material things can be replaced or rebuilt. Lives can't. I don't see Kage abandoning Elijah any time soon.

50 miles when in the path of a borderline cat 5 hurricane makes a massive difference. Ft. Myers and Sanibel are gone. Absolutely annihilated. Sarasota/Bradenton has a lot of damage, but overall not too much total destruction. I'm not going to lie.... seeing and hearing winds over 100mph scared the shit out of me. We didn't have time to evacuate even if we wanted to. Monday the storm was projected to hit north of Tampa. By Tuesday night we were in the Bullseye. Hotel rooms were full for hundreds of miles in all directions. That means driving as far as necessary. However, the majority of gas stations were out of gas. So the dilemma now becomes... do we leave and hope we find something before running out of gas or do we risk getting stranded, not knowing which way the storm will go? I had friends head south to North Port. Guess where the eye passed over? You just never know with these storms. Not sure if I want to smell like salad. I still have a small stack of 45s. Lol. You would've hunted me to the far corners of the globe.

The schedule is absolutely going to be off kilter for a couple of weeks. I'm usually at least 3 chapters ahead with edits. The next one is just going into second editing and beta-ing today. It'll eventually get sorted out. Alaska was amazing. I'll try to post a blog detailing our adventures later this week. ❤

Yes, I'm that twisted. No need to point it out. Sky is blue. Hell is hot. Duh. 🤣 A cure is looking less and less likely. So whatever could she have planned? More experiments? A mutated virus? An alien race showing up and abducting all the pups? A miracle? Maybe all the hybrids will rise up and take over the shifter and human world. I still find it odd how different the changes are for each pup. Goes to show you how messed up it was in the first place to screw around with their DNA. What's the old commercial saying? It's not nice to fool with Mother Nature!

I have one of those foot massager things that you stick your feet in and it squeezes the bejeezus out of them. It's on my agenda dor today while I edit a few more chapters. Cameron is a really sweet kid. A little too young though to be finding his mate so soon. Maybe a future story idea? Who knows?

It's good to be back. I've never heard of the vinegar trick. Luckily they don't hurt, it'll just be gross if they peel. Ugh.
