I'm happy that the chapter's about face will curb a good majority of unsolicited comments regarding my perceived issues with feet. PEOPLE.....The ONLY good thing about feet are getting pedicures! END OF STORY!

Damn. I think someone paid attention in class when cliffhangers was taught! Great chapter. The final tweaks worked out well. I have to admit, this one was a bit of a challenge to hammer it smooth, but it turned out just right!

OMG... Everything about this chapter was spot on. The way Will handled Brad and Jake and pulled the Robbie card to make them both aware of the impact. How JP put it out there what the possible repercussions to the family could be. Even Brad pointing out how Jake was thinking about himself and he was thinking about them. Powerful chapter. Kudos Mark! (oh.. can't forget Stef, sending Tom off to stock up on groceries..lol)

There is a vast difference in this story and my latest one. All because I found a great beta reader and awesome editor. Both are crucial to making sure formatting and continuity is correct. Enjoy!

The things I've heard about the Villages...OMG.... thank whatever Fates there may be that I lost my sheltered Catholic school-girl naiveté a looooonnnnngggg time ago! I have not seen the documentary but I've heard it's interesting. My in-laws had friends who lived there a few years. They couldn't stand it and moved out. As for the story idea?..... I already have enough fodder from managing a 55+ mobile home park. Maybe @Mrsgnomie will tackle it.

Lots to read between the lines here. It doesn't surprise me that Brad's marriage to Jake is on the fritz. Keep in mind that in the CAP world its only been 2.5 years since 9-11. In the real world that's not a lot of time to work through the death of someone you loved, especially when you lost them in such a tragic way. I don't think Brad has truly worked through his grief over losing Robbie. Did they have their problems? Yes. But the love they shared throughout the years was indisputable. Would they have lasted? Who knows? I think Jake was a rebound. Brad needs more time, less drugs and a little understanding from his kids. I think Will is coming round to that conclusion. Taking care of a parent is hard, no matter what age you are. Taking care of a parent like Brad is challenging at best, impossible at worst. I think Will is up for the challenge. He has JP and Stef to rely on. Worst case scenario, he can pull out the big guns and call in his Grandmaman. Isobel will straight shoot Brad the "Mom" look. (Works for my my kids...lol) Great chapter Mr. Arbour!
