Too cute! I love Lindt chocolate. My sister-in-law made the mistake of introducing my kids to it when they were little. I had to switch from Hershey kisses to Lindt milk chocolate in their Xmas stockings from that point forward. I'm still required to ship it to Kansas. Spoiled kids...lol On a side note when my younger son was about 2 he got into too much chocolate that was laying around one Easter. Not pretty. That's all I'll say. 🤢

Agreed. There should be an automatic contract issued when joining this group stating that fact and binding one permanently to said contract.

I can't take it anymore. Recipe please.

Will more than gets around that's for damn sure. Great chapter. I'm looking forward to what tricks you have up your sleeves 😉.

I'll have to settle for some fresh pineapple. I went to the Amish market today (in retrospect, not the brightest idea the day before a religious holiday. It was packed) They have one of those machines that peels and cores the pineapple for you. It's the same price as getting one and having to cut it up yourself. No brainer. I did have some cookies this week. My mother-in-law sends us some for every holiday. Although this batch was a little worse for wear. Mailing chocolate anything to Florida can result in disaster. The Hershey kisses melted off the peanut butter cookies. At least they fared better than the chocolate bunnies:

@Reader1810 @Mikiesboy Now I want cookies. 😩 🤤

Hi all! Hope everyone is doing well. I had a surprisingly pleasant customer service experience this week. A prong on my earbud charger broke and hence, wouldn't charge. I've had them 5 months, so I emailed the customer service department for the company. Three pleasant email exchanges later and the are sending me a replacement set. By far one of the easiest encounters I've had. Enjoy your weekend and if you celebrate Easter have a good day tomorrow. (I sent my older son a care package with a wind up hopping chick toy and it scared their cat...lol)

Not sure. The one picture she sent me her face was shaded. Or wait... maybe it was a beard 🤔🤣 I don't judge.

I wouldn't be surprised if Loren finds out his credit card is maxed out and he starts getting deliveries from Amazon with all sorts of crazy shit!🤣🤣

Great chapter! Loren has come a long way. Yes, he freaked and tried to bail. But...... He reached out, he processed, he thought things thru and then manned up and went back to face his demons head on, only to find out the only demon is a two year old capable of swindling hundreds of dollars out of him, 99 cents at a time. You go Aido Potato!

I'm gonna go out on a limb here and throw in my two cents (whether you want it or not, if not, well, stop reading, lol) regarding why Loren is so anti-kid. Simple if you really think about it. He's been in business for himself since he was 14 years old. His business has revolved around himself. While most of us got exposed to kids via babysitting or having younger siblings, Loren didn't. His focus for over half his life has been his brand, his online persona. He's just learning how to be a boyfriend and develop an adult relationship involving letting someone close to him. Kids are foreign creatures to those if us who deal with them regularly. Can you imagine if you're never around kids because the opportunity isn't there. It's not like his friends are participating in Bring Your Child To Work Day. I'd avoid the little ankle biters at all costs if I were him too. (Oh wait, I kinda do!🤭) Anyway, Loren held his shit together pretty well so far. He's learning and trying. That's all we can ask.

Doesn't matter. Still better than a crib. Aido deserves the best! And that's NOT a crib. Insulting for a worldly two-year old 🤣🤣

Like you'd EVER let Jay or Loren out of the country without you. You'd lock them up tight.

Not my family. They were more NASCAR than football. I'd rather go the baseball route.

Jay didn't have Loren handcuffed and chained to the house. He could've left at any time (thereby breaking Aido's heart) Granted, Jay can guilt trip with the best of them. I'm talking catholic-nun level guilt here. Really. He's got it down pat. Loren survived.... (or did he🤔)

My favorite little man...Aido Potato! There has got to be so many conflicting thoughts going thru Loren’s head, but from Jay's point of view, it leaves us guessing. Well done, Mrs. G! Totally worth the edits! A football field toddler bed....what a great, fantastic, brilliant idea!

Another great chapter for sure. What struck me the most was this; I guess I’d assumed he’d want to prove his gayness. That made me chuckle a bit and started to pull me out of the pity party I was descending into. I think this highlights Will's continuing journey into maturity and adulthood. In not so distant past he would've pitched a fit at being rejected. As for the Alabama comment, this takes place in 2004, still a time when stereotyping was common. Will's generation was only just beginning to bring change. After all, back then many people thought women couldn’t work at the same level as men, even though most worked full time and were primary caregivers to kids. It was still a widespread belief that gay men were pedophiles. Black people were poor, uneducated thugs responsible for 90% of crime. All immigrants from India owned 7-11s and those from Mexico were field workers or maids. I'm pretty sure Mark didn't mean any offense. He writes his characters true to their beliefs as it relates to the time period.

Thanks! The woman that set me off is a stupid be-atch 365 days a year. Nothing will fix that kind of stupid. Ever. So far weekend has been good. Knocked out another chapter and working on the next. This story is flowing like nothing I've written before.

Reaction.... definitely subjective and is usually a direct response to how a reader feels about the chapter as a whole. When it comes to the "angry" reaction it usually is a response to something the characters have done. For example; if a chapter describes a character walking in on their spouse cheating on them, you may get an angry reaction from a reader because they are angry at the cheater, not you as the author, so rest assured, the readers isn't angry with you. Occasionally someone hits an inappropriate reaction by mistake and doesn't realize it. Reactions will end up helping to build your reputation. That's what the ever changing number beside your name indicates, how many total reactions you've received. Your reputation helps earn badges, which matter to some people, not so much to others. When responding to a reader's comment you should tap on the word 'quote' beneath their response. This will give them a notification that you have responded to them and gives another opportunity for a reaction response. I hope this helps. You can always pm me if you need more clarification.

Well I had another of those moments where my mouth opened automatically, without ever consulting my brain. Luckily it resulted in a good laugh and possible fodder for @Wayne Gray. Thursday I had what was possibly one of the worst shitty days I've had in a long time. We got new check scanners and after being called out by corporate because I wasn't using it, I had to finally troubleshoot. Over 2 hours on the phone with the company that makes these monsters it finally boiled down to "it's probably the scanner." So I shoot an email to the evil bitch in the corporate office, copying my boss letting them know how much time I spent on this and what the outcome was and to advise I would go back to posting checks manually, and that I had a headache. My response? A passive aggressive blurb about how it's the manager's responsibility to troubleshoot and take care of the issue and to let them know what the resolution was. Ummm, I already said it was probably the scanner, which I'm not authorized to order a new one. (this was after an email 2 days prior that stated "if there's anything we can do to help, let us know.") Needless to say, my blood pressure went through the roof. I was enraged, frazzled, pissed off and completely wanted to withdraw from society. Not an option. (Two days later I'm still sorta pissed off. Sometimes it's hard for me to let things go, but I'm working on it. This was the same bitch I hung up on last year when she kept interrupting me. I try to limit my interactions with her to email only.) One of the realtors, who I am also friends with comes in with prospective residents. I'm so not in the mood and tell her I can't deal with anything right now and that I was sorry. It was really windy and she looked like she had stuck her finger in a light socket. Her hair was sticking up every which way. Think Albert Einstein meets Mr. Heat Miser. So without missing a beat, my mouth opens and says "Beck, I feel like your hair looks." She about fell over laughing. Hope everyone has a good weekend!
