The chess pieces are now in motion on the board. Should be interesting to see what kind of moves are made. (The whole feline/snake thing? A total screw up on my part. At some point I changed from cat to snake. Of course my beta, who is probably an eagle shifter with perfect vision, caught it 😆)

Sebastian’s wolf whined when the plane’s door shut and locked. Most wolves weren’t comfortable with being confined to a big metal tube hurtling through the sky. They preferred the sky to be over their heads, all four paws planted solidly on terra firma. Sebastian mentally shushed him. He huffed back in indignation and settled down, albeit reluctantly. The first winter I lived in MD I got stuck in traffic trying to get home from work. At the time I worked in Arlington and lived just south of Annapolis. Commute was normally just shy of an hour with DC traffic. Snow started late morning.. about 3 inches by the time I left at 3pm. Took me 6 freaking hours. The traffic was gridlocked on every single road. Pre-cell phone days, had to stop and call my SIL from a pay phone to pick up my son from daycare. By the time I got home there was about 6 inches on the ground. Worse commute ever.
