I know the type Fae. We had one at our community....rolled his eyes at wearing a mask. Welp...both he and his wife came down with Covid and luckily they both made it. But.....now he wears a mask faithfully and has said that he wouldn't wish it on his worst enemy. Two months later and he's still exhausted all the time. Some people insist on learning the hard way. I'm already gearing up for drama this weekend when I tell my brother that I'm picking Mom up Wednesday night and keeping her through the weekend. My idiot sister in law is still planning on Thanksgiving dinner for about 20 people. Her side of the family is Florida redneck cracker through and through. I'm not sure how many of them even know what a mask is. I don't think my almost 90yr old mother needs to be around that. Arrghhh.

I think you meant 'train the rest of them'. Your horses are probably more capable of being trained than the staff at that office.

@Sherye Your painted rocks are cute. The Nemo one reminds me of my oldest son. For his 5th birthday we had a small party (maybe 10 kids) at the theater and Nemo was the movie we saw. I used to make my kid's birthday cakes and I drew Nemo on his that year. I remember thinking it was weird that one fin was tiny. After we saw the movie I knew why. It's still the best kid's movie ever.

Don't work too hard rick. Myself? Well I had my year end review today at work. I apparently "exceed expectations" in all categories and got 44/44 evaluation points. I asked my boss if that meant I'd get a 44% raise. At least I made her laugh! Have a good evening everyone.

I wish I could post one of the sunset pics I took tonight, but the file is too big and I can't figure out how to shrink it without losing the clarity. Anyway, it was beautiful and it was a nice was to end the day. Have a good night!

Just made a date with hubby. We're dropping off son at work and then heading to the beach to watch the sunset. Haven't done that in a while. ❤

Especially on a Sunday....I hope Phil starts feeling better and I'm glad they figured out what was wrong so quickly. My husband gets weird symptoms and every doctor he sees can never figure out what is wrong. Tremors...nope, not neurological, neither was the year of headaches and dizziness. Chest pain...nope heart is fine. Can't breathe...well that's just ongoing asthma. It gets frustrating. We've signed up for insurance thru his work again, but the deductibles are so high, it's still really expensive to go through a bunch of tests and then be told everything is fine. Been there, done that. Done ranting....hope everyone has a good afternoon!

Coffee time is one of the best times of the day. Have a good one!

Be proud of yourself. Not an easy accomplishment and it shows that you're strong, not a weakling.

NOW you're speaking my language. Damn the pickle juice and pass the whiskey!🥃
-
Walmart makes perfect sense!
-
My alternate for pickle juice is to empty it down the drain! The only pickles I like are sweet gherkins. Dill anything I just don't like.

My brain seemed to think it was perfectly normal. 🤔

Except for the taste. 🤮

I just got back from walking the dogs. The sun had just gone down, streetlights came on, sky was still a little light. As we're strolling down the sidewalk I see a guy coming towards us with a little dog so I stepped back on a driveway to let him pass. We nodded. Said hi, and continued on. I was nearly past the house I was going by when I realized the guy was wearing Batman pajamas, complete with cape! Only in 2020 can this be completely normal. My happy place has to wait until the screens are fixed. With all the rain we had this week it's mosquito central out there. Me sitting outside at night just screams "all you can eat buffet" to every skeeter in a five mile radius.

🤢 No thanks.

An amazing tale that provides a lot of ups and downs, plenty of tears and laughs and everything in between. Nash and Penn both do a lot of soul searching before finding out what they really need. Thoroughly enjoyable through each and every chapter. Well done Mrsgnomie, well done!

Chapter 21 - This Was My Life
kbois commented on Mrsgnomie's story chapter in Chapter 21 - This Was My Life
Yup....another one under the belt. Great job all around and I'm glad I got the sneak peek of the last few chapters. Start slinging some ideas around...we got more work to do! ❤👍👍👍👍 -
I'm looking forward to it molly!

Yay! You both know we're chomping at the bit, right? But alas, pesky little thing called life has to get in the way. I'm sure it will be sooooooo worth it. Take whatever time you need. The end result is what matters.

I'm not an outdoorsy person unless the weather is just right. Mostly because I burn really easy, even with spf 100 sunscreen. Too hot...nope. Too cold....nope. I need the Goldilocks zone. However, I will make exceptions and today was one. Our lanai was a disaster. I had my son move everything into the corner before the storm hit so it was all squooshed over. Table, chairs, fire pit etc. Which of course highlighted how desperately the floor needed a good power washing. We don’t use it very much in the summer because it's too hot and humid. So the geckos have the run of the space. Now that the weather is cooling off I need my space to chill out, sip some whiskey and not have to listen to the TV or music. Quiet time with the fire pit. Can't do that with dirt and gecko droppings all over. So....I spent almost 3 hours power washing. There's something cathartic about watching the tiles go from black/brown to beige and sort of sandy colored, not to mention it's shaded so I don't have to worry about getting burned. Now everything is drying out. Once done I can move the stuff back to where it goes and once the sun goes down I'll be out there, whiskey in one hand, and something to read in the other. The dogs needed a bath, so that got done too. Hubby took care of sweeping and mopping. Laundry is going and I'm off to get my mom soon. I haven't had a day this productive in a while! Feels good to accomplish something where you see the results right away. Hope everyone enjoys the rest of their day!

Hit the @ and then type the name right after...no space and case sensitive

@Mikiesboy and @MichaelS36 are probably the best resources for any questions you may have. Mike and tim are the most open and honest people I have come across and are more than willing to educate you in the subject matter. They are both amazing people.

That is gorgeous!❤ I would love a tattoo, but I just haven't found the right one yet.

My two mutts believe I'm their personal butler. I'm looking forward to mild nights when I can keep the slider open and they can come and go as they please. My favorite is when they stand at the door to go out and then when you haul your butt off the chair and open the door they look at you like you're an idiot and then go lay down on the couch.
