Sinclair sat in the truck, just staring at the building they had just pulled up to. David had finally broken down and traded in his Nissan for a Toyota Tundra. It had come in handy when the girls had decided to redecorate David’s house. They had kept the furniture, but had replaced most of the wall decor and knick knacks with stuff they had picked up a little at a time. David’s lessons on budgeting had paid off. The winter and spring had flown by. Dr. Charlotte had been a frequent visitor a

You are an amazing person rick. Your empathy and caring always shows in your posts. Be proud of who you are and you will discover who you are really meant to be. Covid does not define us. It just shows us how strong we are in dealing with everything that it affects. You are absolutely correct...protecting your safety should be your top priority. I'm sorry that someone you care about has different priorities. *hugs* xoxo

It's been overcast/raining off and on all afternoon. After supper hubby asks "Are you planning on taking them?" (We can't actually say 'walk' unless it's going to happen immediately) Me: "Is that a hint?" Hubby rolls eyes. Me: (with two dogs now at my feet , butts wiggling expectantly) "Let's go." Note to self: Your hair is now long enough to be tied back when it is windy out. I spent the entire walk with hair in my mouth, my nose and across my eyes, effectively rendering me half blind. My dogs are not trained as guide dogs and would just as quickly lead me into traffic as lead me down the sidewalk. Brushing knots out of hair is not fun. At least the rain held off!! Hope everyone had a good day and a better evening.

I knew from the very beginning that there would be no compromise between TC and David. To say that writing this wasn't challenging would be a big fat lie. It was a major challenge. I'm happy that I seem to have pulled it off. It was touch and go there for a while. I sort of had to go with easy going family, there was too much going on with TC, David and Sinclair. My brain would've exploded otherwise! 🤯 Thanks for commenting!

You're very welcome. I'm glad you enjoyed it!

Thank you chris! I'm happy you enjoyed it. I may try and post the epilogue sooner than Wednesday if I can polish it up sooner. Thanks for reading!

The silence was broken only by the sounds of soft breathing coming from the two men who were still asleep. Sinclair was sandwiched between them, his absolute favorite place to be. It was early, the darkness just barely feathered with the faint gray of the impending dawn. It was Christmas morning and Sinclair felt like a little kid again, only now he knew that he had something better than any present Santa could bring. He had TC and David. The past couple of weeks had shown him exactly how m

We have gators near me too. There's a saying that any body of water in Florida either has, has had or will have an alligator in it. There's an 15ish footer that hangs out on the golf course adjacent to my brother's house. https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=7fcFQhh7AYA His name is Chubbs.😆🐊

The Everglades are only a couple of hours from me. Plenty of gators. Chomp chomp!

I'm right there with you Kitt. Let's just say that if you ever need help getting rid of the body just pm me. 😉, I'll have your back and an alibi.

Riddle me this. You have to think, not just read: There are 20 cows in the field. 28 chickens. How many didn't?

@Mikiesboy sorry you had such a shit experience at your dentist. I wish I could let you borrow mine. He's amazing and his staff are wonderful. I had two uncles growing up who we went to. I had the same hygienist for 20 years. When we moved I had a horrid experience and didn't see a dentist for five years. We lucked out finding this one here in Florida. It doesn't hurt that he's pretty damn hot too!😊🤭🔥 I've had those grapes and they are really good. Take care and enjoy your cool weather, we're still in the low 90s and humid. Ugh.

I've never heard that expression before molly. I like it. I have a few spoons for the weekend, but they'll probably disappear before the weekend is through. I'm working our open house today and so far nothing but the sound if the clock ticking and crickets chirping. I forgot my water tumbler too. It's gonna be a looonnggg day.

That's wonderful Kitt! I'm so happy things are going so much better for you.🥰

Let's hope so, this year needs a reboot!

Yep, I sure did. I'm not sure if I'm realky fearless or really have no clue when it comes to writing. 🤪 I grew up really sheltered and pretty damn vanilla. The things that I've learned along the way to middle age have opened my eyes and occasionally burned my retinas. But my philosophy is that you have to be willing to learn about new things, even if you don't experience them firsthand. Knowledge is priceless, no matter what the subject matter. I just try to keep an open mind even if I have to close my eyes!

TC would be marching them straight to the chapel of love if polygamy was legal, that is for sure! You'll just have to wait to see what he's got up his sleeve. I'm glad you liked the chapter.
-
We'll leave you alone for a bit🤣

Keep reading Quixo.....you'll get your therapy fix! I agree. Some people in life are just plain assholes.

Makes me kinda glad I don't live in NE anymore. I grew up in a house with gas heat and I'm sure those lines are still the original. The houses were all built in the 50s.
-
George will dig his own hole, TC will just hand him the shovel😂 I'm glad you liked the way they handled everything. Yes, you'll see a little more of Dr. Charlotte as soon as I can finish revising the last chapter. I've got 2 days. It's doable. Right? 😬🤞
-
Thanks again Chris, your comments are always so thoughtful. This chapter did take a lot of though, although not too much research. I tried to use common sense. I'm happy you enjoyed it.

My husband used to love pecan pie. When we first moved to Maryland his sister in Virginia invited us for Thanksgiving and asked him if there was anything special he'd like for dessert and she'd make it for him. He said 'pecan pie'. Her response? 'Oh, you can't have that, no one in my family (her husband and 3 kids) will eat it.' We were like, wtf? Why ask? Apparently he could have anything he wanted as long as her family liked it. This happened over 20 years ago and we still tease her about it. I, too, am diabetic and have to watch the sugar in things. Some things I miss, some I don't.

You are definitely a little behind with this one Fae! I hope you enjoy. Let me know what yoy think along the way!

TC was livid. He wanted to kill that son of a bitch father of Sin’s. The only thing that stopped him was David’s strength and support. The immense fear that TC felt when he answered Sin’s call and heard nothing but a high pitched keening was something he never wanted to feel again. He had called David as he ran out of his office and they had pulled into the driveway within seconds of each other. When he realized that the deadbolt had been thrown his fear increased even more. He and David had sea
