I like surprises. It keeps my readers on their toes. There are definitely many variations that BDSM comes in. The type of relationship that TC needs is not for everyone. It requires an understanding of each other and a sense of trust that goes way beyond conventional relationships. There is a physical need to take care of and be taken care of that exists between a Dom/Domme and his/her sub. Most "traditional" relationships are a mix of taking care of/being taken care of by each other. Both types of relationships are OK. Hate to disappoint you, but sex is still several chapters away. I totally understand the science behind it. I had to laugh at work today. I got a phone call from a home manufacturer letting me know that the trucks that are delivering our new home should be there before noon. Say what? Me: What new home? Her: "Is this Park X in Titusville?" Me: "Noooo, this is Park X in Bradenton" Her: Oh Hell, I dialed the wrong park" 🤣🤣 I could just imagine two semis each hauling half of a double wide manufactured home pulling into the park and finding out they were 200 miles or so off course. As much as we'd love a brand new Palm Harbor home in the community, there's no empty lot to put it on! Luckily the trucks went to the right place.

I hope everyone is doing ok today. I'm flying solo until tomorrow both at home and at work. Covering our other property while the manager takes a long weekend. Hubby is in Orlando for work training. Sunsets are gorgeous this time of year. Stars can be seen when the clouds decide to move out, but there's a lot of light pollution around here, driving inland 10-15 miles makes it better. Right now the sun rises as in getting ready for work, so it's usually just a glimpse as I look out the kitchen window. Today's menu is a thunderstorm special. It's been rumbling all day. I absolutely love the different views that everyone has in these characters. David never wanted to surrender his dominance. He started out just wanting to explore submissiveness. He is way more fluid in his sexuality than TC. At one point in his life he identified as bisexual. It took age and experience for him to discover otherwise. TC has known from the get-go where he lies on the Kinsey scale so to speak. I've solicited advice from those who are in a D/s relationship and the one thing that stands out is the fact that he or she who is truly Dominant can't turn it on or off. It is a vital part of how they identify, just the same as identifying as gay or straight. It can't be changed because it is not a choice. TC being dominant means that he has a strong personality. He lived the life he wanted with Elliott. After Elliott died, he lost part of himself due to grief. He admitted that he had no desire to find another sub. (If he didn’t, then...spoiler..he will, I don't remember what chapter I wrote that in). He and David both made mistakes when they let emotions become part of what they were trying to do. It got away from them and blew up in their faces. This story is all about them trying to clean up the mess. In my opinion the only ones who can get risotto right are true Italians. I tried a few recipes but never quite got it right. This is the chicken recipe I did tonight. I know that I mentioned we had Covid testing done at my work last month. Well it had to be redone because apparently the state of Florida can't do anything right and all of the results were invalid. So....I was retested a couple of weeks ago. All handouts and information stated that you would only be contacted if your results were positive. So guess who gets a phone call from the Florida Dept of Health? Yep, like I don't have enough shit in my life to worry about. So after getting the message, I called back, gave my information and was informed that indeed my result of the test was negative. Say what? I was shaking. I'm in a high risk category to begin with and they managed to jump start any heart issues I may have. It's bad enough to have health issues to start with but throw in uninsured on top of it and my panic level went through the roof there for a few minutes. I'm just glad it wasn't positive. I haven't been that scared over a test since a pregnancy scare at 19. Damn.
