I'm actually rereading all of the chapters that are written before I attempt to write the last one. David ponies up to his flaws later on. I still think they're both equally guilty of screwing things up. (Wait...does that make me guilty of screwing things up? 🤔Nah! 🤭😆)

Poor TC! He's not a narcissist. He's a Dominant. David is too and he'll get to reconnect with who he is a little bit later. David is just as guilty as TC in the lack of communication department which is where they went astray. TC's real personality will start to show itself soon. He just needs the right motivation. (Is there anyone who actually likes TC? He's definitely one of my favorites) Thanks for your thoughts Jack. I really do enjoy all of these differing opinions!

I have to go through the bank drive thru several times a week for work, so gloves and hand sanitizer are necessary. Worst car smell mishap...an entire bottle of Shalimar perfume a friend once gave me broke in the trunk of my car.....thirty years and I still gag if I smell that perfume.🤣

There are so many days I wish I didn't need a car. I've probably logged enough miles in my life to drive to the moon and back. And yes it was rather messy. After the initial "oh shit" reaction, all I could do was laugh. I really do know better.

Has anyone else besides me forgotten that hand sanitizer left in your hot car in the middle of summer turns into the consistency of water so that when you flick the lid it literally squirts out like water from a hydrant, coating not only your hand, but pretty much the entire console too? And how did it get in my hair? 🤔🤭 Now my car smells like weird apples that have been soaked in rubbing alcohol 😜

Thanks Geemeedee! This story has definitely been a challenge. I've gotten quite the education and what stands out the most is that no matter what type of relationship you want, it has to be based on mutual feelings, trust and open communication. TC and David both failed in the communication department. TC shouldn't have to deny who he is just because David isn't the right one for him. They both are guilty of falling in love with the other knowing it couldn't work (or can it?🤔) Mixing everything together as it relates to real life? Challenge accepted!

They both knew exactly what David wanted when they first started this. David could've put a stop to the direction things headed into at any time. They both let their emotions control their actions. Apologies and redemption are still a couple of chapters away. As for more....Friday my friend, Friday!

Thanks chris! Lyssa is the kind of kid I wish I had if I had a girl instead of boys. Rebuilding will require some pretty intense soul searching which they both are going to need. They need some new stones to work with to rebuild their foundation. TC surprises me too!

Oof...I kick our ac down to 72 at night. I'm at the stage where I'll wake up, throw the covers off and wonder.....is it a hot flash? Is it Covid? Is it just plain hot in here? A decent night's sleep probably won't happen until the end of the week. For some reason my brain believes sleep deprivation should happen periodically for several nights. Stupid brain.

I think you have a great sense of humour. Honestly the whole sofa mountain climbing and tim getting propositioned made me smile. I really needed it too. My sleep addled brain tends to go directly to cranky. I'm trying to stay positive instead and smiles help, so thank you for making me smile today.

Don't forget the WD-40! Wonder what they'd think if they found about your bodyguard. I'm picturing Mike with sharp teeth🤭🤣 Today sort of sucks for me. I had a major insomniac night, only got about 2 hours of broken sleep, which makes me tired and cranky. I hope I make it thru today without wanting to kill someone or falling asleep at my desk.

Halle fricken lulah! Thank you for posting! So...where to begin? First off, I loved the whole tide comparison. Overall the whole chapter made me sort of sad though. Misunderstandings suck and these two have been through so much. I can see why Penn moved on. They both could've handled things differently. Great storytelling.
