There is a lot for these two to navigate. Owen is in the dark and right now I don't think Troy could find his way out of a paper bag with a spotlight at the open end. Gonna be hard to reconcile his actions with his intent moving forward. Marco Polo got his attitude from his creator.

MILES I lay on my bed, Marco Polo curled up on the pillow next to me, and stared at the ceiling. The familiar phantom sway of being on the ocean stuck with me. Troy and I spent a lot of time playing in the waves today. I’d taken a lot of video, too, but I was planning to keep the shots that included him to myself for when I had to leave. A tale of star crossed lovers.... Wait. Scratch that. A tale of a socially awkward half-human, half-vampire finding his fated mate in a cute little cambion with a bit of a catch-me-if-you-can attitude and the mishaps, misunderstandings, and jealous bully vampire just plain being a pain in the you-know-what getting in the way of them connecting the way they should (wink wink). Oh, and we can't forget the mother who seriously needs to be medicated, an absentee dad, two substitute father figures, and loyal best friend all trying to "help". It's a fun story and worth the read.

Umm .. nope. Just like humans and dogs, there be dumb ones. My college roommate's cat would sit in front of a wall outlet, stare and meow at it for no reason. It didn't matter if something was plugged in or not. And no...there was nothing wrong with the outlet. She had the landlord come and check it.

There are still many variables at play. Troy is definitely at a crossroad. He needs to shit or get off the pot as my dad used to say. You also posed the most important question of all .. where does this leave Marco Polo? Does he turn in his kitty helmet and goggles for a miniature cowboy hat and boots? Only time will tell.
