Brilliant chapter. I wasn't expecting a zombie to pick up the trees and hurl them at the base. I thoroughly enjoyed the surprise. At the start when the tree was bending back and forth; I was like... here we go... something big is going to happen. Something monumental. Then the zombie ripped the tree from the ground and threw it at the base. Then it threw me. I was not expecting that but I love it all the same. This scene was pretty awesome. It can be said now that the zombies have some form of intelligence, or at least this one guy does... like Ceasar from Planet of the Apes. Can we call him Giovanni...? The suit seems fitting for the guy; as does the name. At first, I assumed he was tossing the trees to near enough to each other to build some sort of a ramp up the side of the building. That would show some strategic notion. I hope the boys in the car will be already. They have some wiggle room inside the vehicle in case of problems. Although seeing Giovanni picked up a tree and hurled I doubt would take much. Let's hope the boys locked the doors and the zombie does not know how to open them. Otherwise, this is going to be a reenactment of Jurassic Park. Loving the story so far... can't wait to read on. Leaving the base can put Marnie and the other kids in danger; let's hope the boys find a way out of this situation.

I had a sense you were building up to something much bigger, and now I am intrigued. Love the build you added to the chapter, it was as if you were seeding a promise that something was going to transpire before the chapter was out. Some excellent thought went into developing the characters and with every new chapter I read, I become more enveloped in your story. The caution and length of these kids went to ensure the survival of not only themselves but also their group is fantastic. All along, I was with the characters as they rolled down the road from checkpoint to checkpoint before looping around the town. The little snips of time you interweave is beautifully done. For instance, the backstory about the friend sitting on the porch and taking it from a complete happy moment to a dull and sad moment; where the audience envision his decaying body is well executed that I felt the grief the characters are feeling. So we have fuel and food... we saw some nice character development with the couple and Mike who at first seemed hot-headed, but he only wants to protect those he loves and himself. If that means putting down a zombie before it has a chance to be on your front door, then so be it. Now with shots fired... let's hope its gun practice. I am enjoying the story so far; thanks for the time and efforts

Ah I see, I'd love to experience all four seasons. In Ireland, we are lucky to get two. There are Winter and Summer, there is really no distinction between the others other than the fact that leaves fall and leaves grow. For about 300 odds days of the year, it is raining or either dull. When the sun comes it out it is rear but when it does, people love it. However, our weather changes dramatically. It could be raining one moment, scorching the next, and then two days later it could be snowing. I have never been skiing I must try it; water sports is the biggest thing in Ireland apart from GAA. Golf for me has never been an attentive pastime. I need something a little more stimulating to keep my attention. That's great to hear, I am glad that the two of you guys hit off. It's nice to have friends around the globe. Most of my books, however, are not based on me or anyone I know. Sure, the odd thing that happens like climbing a tree as a kid made it into a story but that's about it. Everything else comes from my mind. Most people I normally know say they find me interesting. I find myself either one of the following; annoying or extremely uninteresting. I am a quiet soul; I tend to keep to myself. As for how I write things down; well that's just me being honest. Once I know who a character is, I try to be honest in everything that they are doing even if they are manipulative. Oh please, do tell me what your book is about. I am delighted that I have inspired you to write; so thank you. I don't know actually what I have done to elicit such a thank you, but I wish you all the best with your project. I hope you are well.

I have been good and yourself. I have been meaning to get around to a couple of your stories since you mentioned it. I am glad I did because I like your style. Oh yes, have a gander at the two movies they are awesome. I love the adrenaline of 28 weeks later... the soundtrack keeps me on the edge of the seat alone. My love for anything that is shot raw and as authentic as possible always catches my eye. Its good to finally catch up with you.

It would appear that the zombies have a limited form of intelligence. The zombie went for the front door after he didn't get in the back. I wonder who the kids are going to survive when they are faced with having to shoot them on their own, now that Jack is gone. Excellent way to kill a character though. Sounds like Jack was a valuable guy from what I can tell. Loved how you brought the story back to the present with a heartfelt moment of human contact. Symbolising; we are all in the same position. We need to be here for one another. Thanks for a beautiful, thought-provoking chapter.

I finally got the chance to start the story and so far the imagery alone has me hooked. I love how you have captured the sense of despair of what once was. The opening scene was so vivid, I felt as if I was watching a movie, witnessing the rock fall down the cliff face. I like the unconventional approach to the zombies. I love zombies who are fast and full of rage like 28 days later and 28 weeks later. Great to see you put Richie and Jermery as a couple, I can already see myself rooting for not only their relationship but their survival. The farm building the kids constructed sounds quite high-tech in terms of dystopian standards. I remember a while back when I was doing research for a similar project I read about tunnel entrances which had flamethrowers to stop people from getting in. I believe I also saw a couple of these things in action; being build on Doomsdays Preppers. I love how you set up the premise with all the kids with guns; I can guess this is going to be badass. I can picture the fort with the scorched field around it. Can't wait to read more.

Its okay no trouble, I know you are traveling. When I got traveling I often find it hard to send messages and what not when I have so much to fit in. I wanted to tell a little bit about the movie, but spoil it, so the only thing I could think of was to reference the plot. Watson is the gay kid, he is masking the identity with subtle hints. The first large hint was about the lifeguards being hot; a couple of letters back, and he crossed it out and put hospitable. I understand what you mean about talking to people for years and never meeting. I have many friends who I have messaged for years across the globe and I consider them friends now. Oddly enough, I have also fallen in love once before with a boy online, we talked for over 4 years. Sometimes friendships that are built purely on trust and without having a face to compare the name to, you make your own impression of how the person should look. However, for one thing, friendships are not my strongest points. I always feel like the odd one out even when I try incredibly hard. its great to hear that you got to meet another author that you admire his work. Yes, it probably would be interesting to meet a reader to hear their thoughts and to gain insight into who my readers actually are. It sounds like you had a nice day out. Myself and my boyfriend however like colder countries. We do like warmer climates, sweltering counties cant beat Denmark during Christmas.

Can’t beleive it took me so long to get around to this. I am glad I read it this morning of all things. Even being away from it a while, I got straight back into the story. You know deme seems perfect in every essence. When I was that age, I would have loved a deme, who wrote poetry. Except if there was a deme back then; his poems would have been about the orge living under a bridge type of deal. Com, you have made these boys unbearably cute; and I am somehow wishing I had someone to write about me the way deme did about Shane lol. Anyway keep up the awesome work.

Aw-ha I apologize for that, but letters are basically plotless, and they are independent of one another, that is how it works. Perhaps if I was releasing it at a faster rate it would not be such a big problem or if you were going from one letter to the other it would not be a huge issue. I don't intend to drag the story out forever, I figure there could be about 20-25 letters worth of a story. Only I guess It will show how long it takes to work it out when I perfect it in my head. However, time constraints and work do get in the way. Also at the moment, I am writing seven different stories, these things take time. This chapter alone what you have read took 2 days to write and a day to edit. Yes, they will meet, only this story does not focus solely on that, a meeting will be in the later points of the story. If they met, then there is no need for letters. I will get there and I am confident by late October-November.

To Sherlock, I chose to stay behind after school let out, I know weird right. I'll miss chatting with you also; that is until Monday rolls around again. I have to say the teachers transfer the contents of the mailboxes daily and even on a Friday, that is what I call service because I received your note. As with the end of your message, I can't quite say what the weekend has in store for me. I suspect I have some work to catch up on, and my dad requires me to begin searching for a summer

Thank you; yes bullying is never good. Only 9 times out of 10, most bullying incidents are recorded only on school grounds. Very rarely do we hear about peer-pressure among adults or colleagues and friends of a reasonable age as it still does occur. perhaps that is something I need to write at some point in time lol. Thanks for the message, and yes I thankful for Thomas apologizing when I didn't originally have him apologizing lol.

Actually, I didn't have that part in the story originally. I asked my mother did it sound complete and she said no; so I added something onto the end of it to bring it home. I figured it was a nice touch. I am glad now that I put it in because I did originally end with just the principal's quote. I too, know about stories of both side, I have been on to many of these scenarios, and usually, the side that gets dumped on. But yes, as a teacher have a clear mind on both sides of the argument is always better, by having both sides explain what happened, and then pull for witnesses then. I didn't originally intend to have to bully apologize. Only as I got to the end of it, I figured a change of heart was good figuring they where kids and the possible fact that he picked on Wyatt was because he was perceived as weak. Meaning, he sort of respected the boy after he did that in some weird twisted the way. Thanks for the comment. I hope all is well

Of all the place I thought up a short about school bullying, I did so while watching American Horror Story, the season with the lesbian couple. I found myself thinking about a couple in their shoes and a possible scenario of them being ignored. I'm so happy you read the story and left a comment. Thank you so much. Yes, let us hope the boys learn to not fight and be civil to each other in the future.

Oh, I do have a plot twist in mind for when they actually meet. It's just a matter of time and how to put it onto the page to make it look interesting. I can imagine they will like each other. Only for now I have no idea how I am going to get them to meet; just a plot twist lol. Lets hope it goes smoothly when I pull it off lol.

Ahh... I agree the lifeguards are hot too. I often found that Watson's character is the type who would do anything to be liked; even going the extra mile as to lie about himself. Whereas Sherlock could be more reserved and takes things more to heart and curls up waiting for it to pass if someone mentions anything that is considered hurtful. Whatever reason we were put here for who knows. Only three things I can say we have mastered. Storytelling, Inventing, and killing.

Glad you approve I decided since Sherlock is a fitting name for an intelligent character, it would be a shame to not use the idea of concerning philosophies. I wanted every letter to unravel a new layer of an onion almost. It's deeper until we have to friends, who start to talk freely about people they know in school. It seemed like a reasonable thing to do. Most people lump certain people who they perceive under a label or tag to help identify something they do not understand fully; or what it is like to have that tag associated to those individuals. Perhaps Sherlock has had some back experience with the athletes and that is why he is a little more cynic toward them. Though yes, Watson wants to step out of the limelight for a while without stepping out of the limelight if that makes sense lol. Yes, I doubt his singing ability will help grow a fanbase if he began to shrill.

It had become a frequent activity over the last couple of weeks since school started back. Wyatt happened to be excited the day he began his smooth transition into 5th Grade. That was well… until Thomas Miller of the 6th Grade, and a select group of friends confronted the youngster during lunch one sunny afte

Wyatt is a troubled Middle School student. When the recent effects of bullying come to head in a brutal act of rage, everyone is left wondering why such a sweet child would do such a thing. Then for the first time in his life, and his parents, someone on the school board listens.

Well that escalated quickly; only comicality can write a story about such a small subject and drag it out for 5 k words. At best, I think I’d struggle to get 2 k for a quick read like this lol. What can I say we all have those moments when we are younger. My first time on the other hand was dry humping with a friend. Now that was such an awkward, sweet and innocent time. Sometimes I miss being young... a simple sleepover brings out youth memories, even though I am barely past 20. Bailey got the surprise of his life here. Now all that is left to answer is how long this has been going on? I’ll have to admit, Bailey does have the bluest eyes I’ve seen in a long time since asa butterfield. There was some cute moments in this story, when your cutting out the sexy time. The poking of the cheek, the references to the eyes, and then the next morning Bailey reuses the same compliment on David. As you have pointed out I have tried to keep it as real to pen pal letters between two people only it’s a little more personal as they grow together. Sure I could have went line by line what is your favourite colour but I wanted to tell something a little different. That is why I went with some of the superficial things that they both of something to about. I’m glad you are still enjoying the story
