  1. A Christmas Wish is a simple, but short heartfelt story about two brothers. One who has lost the spirit of Christmas; while the other who still believes. That is until a Christmas miracle is brought upon the family when the boys' father is called away for the military. If you like cozy and warm tales that are short and have a place on your reading list this Christmas, this is the story

    Chapter 14

To Watson, I think I know the guy you're speaking of. Does the man appear to be in his 40s at least, have a stud in his right ear, and have grayish-fading black hair? If so, the person you could have run into is the caretaker. I agree the guy is a little bit grumpy, but not all the time. I remember one time the two of us got chatting about the carbonation process. You know that's when naturally carbonated mineral water absorbs carbon dioxide from the soil. It's the compound added to make dri

    Chapter 16

Writing is fun for sure. We all write for different reasons; I usually write to re-invent a world I can find myself all over again in. But yes, fun and compassion are at the forefront

    Chapter 15

I can imagine it was; he was a likable character actually. Different from what I am used, and I guess that does put the emphasis on why you liked him because he was different. It was sad to see him go to, but we both know, sometimes doing the right thing is never the easiest when writing. It's nice to see that you put a spin on that trope though I often wonder, where did Zombo come from, who was he... only the writer knows such things lol. Sometimes that leaves the mystery lol
  5. Geron is a talented writer with the knack to throw an abundance of plot-twists and perfectly elaborate prose your way over a journey. Z Is For Zombie revolves around a group of teenagers, fighting to stay alive, living with the choices they have to make and the repercussions, accompanied by emotional baggage that comes with complicated decisions. At times the story is a thriller, in others, it reflects what it is like to be part of a community, while at another glance it showcases what humanity means us. The world of Z Is For Zombie is rich with detail, wealthy in backstory, and holds compelling, yet, loveable characters. If you have a couple of hours to spare, check this wonderful story out. Just maybe, you'll finish it in less time than I did lol

    Chapter 16

Well, my prediction about the hunger games or the maze runner earlier back in the story was not that far off, but I didn't see the soft-handed approach from the aliens. I loved the entire story from start to finish, it was engaging, the characters believable. At least everything is returning to normal, and the world lives on. However, I wonder how the kids are going to come down from constantly having to protect themselves to having no security. If your hold world depends on safety your world will be consumed by it. I also admire how you wrapped up all the unanswered questions, and it was done nicely. I wonder how Richie's family will react to the grave out by the barn, I guess that will be some story for the grandchildren. Thanks for awesome read Geron, I need to get into reading more of your stories when I have a slot open

    Chapter 15

Great chapter. All throughout the text, I was expecting something to be off, but hiding under the mannequin is pretty spectacular. Perhaps earlier in the morning when you mentioned the sound in the fog, that could have been the man following over. Of course, it could seem pretty confusing to place a sound when there is nothing but fog all around. As Richie was stepping out the door, I was already saying that's a bad idea. Yet, know that the Zombie is dead, it seems weird knowing he is dead, I have come to actually like the zombie just as much as the group. I can guarantee that there is a huge weight lifted off of their shoulders now that he is gone. It's great how you still kept a human element of the Richie alive, that after killing it he felt guilty.

    Chapter 13

Yes, I prefer to write what interests me but I am willing to write other things, as long as it sparks a fire. I try to be true and honest with whatever I put on paper, if that is what value is then I guess that is what I like to do. Its great to know that you always look forward to my stories; you have no idea what that means to me. Even for me, with all the words I can think up, I just can't lol. I am after a while going to branch out into other genres, I have a couple of dystopian novel ideas in my head. Enough for a series. I have a couple of detective story ideas I'd like to give a go and thrillers. However, for the moment my heart is in coming of age content. I hope that people will continue to enjoy my content and that it is fresh... that is my main concern, always. I have read a couple of stories on nifty and gay authors, and there are some terrific authors. It was an author on nifty who sparked the first chapter from me and began it all. That author is called Ian Bridge - The boy from Sweden. I even have an idea for a tribute; well... my own version of that story. I hope int he future, I get to write it.

    Chapter 13

Great to see you Back, Yeah, originally Max's name is a blackout on the original story, but here on Gayauthors, it shows as a strikethrough. Normally you are not supposed to see his name. It is to do with the formatting. It is supposed to represent a scribbled out name. Oh, I am already ahead of you lol... Sherlock has already begun with his powers of deduction. Sure, I love to write, and sometimes it is often hard to sit down and focus. I think that is my biggest obstacle. I am prone to shift or lose attention when a new idea or something new interests me. Though yes, in theory, it is me on both sides of the equation, and I am both of the boys lol. I do put a little bit of free flow into the thought, but typically when I write from their perspective just like all other characters, I become them. The normal Daniel I wake up with, in the morning disappears until around lunchtime. Sometimes I lose myself to the writing that no I can't say it feels like talking to myself. It is therapeutic for sure, but the actual sensation is like floating... a weightless feeling that just keeps going and going until I begin to get a little tired and break for lunch. Usually, by that time 3 or so hours have passed lol. I am glad that each of the chapters has re-read value.

    Chapter 13

I think they have chosen to write whenever. I left the idea of when they can send letters back and forth as freely without restrictions. So, at least one letter each way, a day seem generous. But, somedays they skip the occasional day. At the start, the assignment seemed like the important thing, but since they have gotten to know each other, it no longer matters to the boys if they should send weekly. They just want to keep talking, I know I would if I found someone interesting. Often or not you can learn a lot from a person when they have nothing but a letter to tell you about their day. Meeting in person, people tend to cut you short. I am delighted you have stuck out the story thus far. I hope you come back when the next chapters are out. I am a little slow with the releasing because I have back to back projects going on at the moment, but I try to update weekly.

    Chapter 6

When I started off, I was determined to find a way of keeping a story going without the characters actually meeting until the end. I suppose, by adding in all the little bits of human nature, what we hate, what we love, what we'd like to do, is what makes us incredibly human. Little snippets of these things and they build a character. Although when I began I wanted the two boys to be distinct from one another. Its one of those stories with the Jock and the Bookworm, but I still have a sizable plot twist in my mind in store. I am looking forward to having the boys meet myself, I wonder when that will be?
  12. From the top of my head, - The Last Of Us - Fall Out New Vagas - Fall Out 4 - The Borderland 2 - Gone Home - Life Is Strange - Life Is Strange - Before The Storm - Mass Effect 3 - The Division - Assassins Creed Odessy - Dragon Age 2 - Dragon Age Inquisition - Saints Row 3 - Think - Skyrim - Fable - Final Fantasy IX - GTA V - Trevor - The Sims - South Park - Bully - Coming Out On Top .... Well, that's all I can think of, I not much of an RPG gamer. I tend to stick to simulation or plot driven games.

    Chapter 3

Thanks for your comment, I am thrilled that you are enjoying the story. It's funny to think that people are reading something I wrote and finding it entertaining. I hope to continue to like the story as you go alone. In conjunction with homework, well I was a kid who got through mountains of work in a narrow window. Although I will never forget the night in 2nd year; I would have been about 13-14 at the time, but I got a chapter of questions in biology and it took me six hours to finish it... I remember arriving at school the next morning and apparently, a lot of parents complained that that much from one teacher was too much. In school in Ireland, we had 8-9 class a day. Except for Friday and Wednesdays... You had 8 lol.

    Chapter 13

I am still writing, I have chapter 14 already and written, most of my time is going toward to my book Chasing Christmas which has the priority at the moment. Probably by the time I release chapter 14, I'll have 15 written. When I wrote this chapter I wanted something unintentionally to slip out, and that was Max's name. Except, here on gay authors a black spot shows as a strikethrough. I like the slow continual build myself... that with the hope in the future, I often find myself wondering who they will react when they meet. Even I don't know... and I'm the author lol.
  15. A short an simple message... your time is limited. There is some great description in here concerning the loss of consciousness. Keep on writing... Keep up the good work

    Chapter 3

I have a random mind, so whatever the characters are saying upstairs in my head, it's going to flow through my fingers without a second thought. Sometimes going on a gut feeling makes thing more natural and realistic, typically if I stray off the path it is not something I foresee, but I have planned and left room to be able to wonder.

    Chapter 2

Oh, this story is full of clues and it will continue to throw clues in your face. I have given sneak peeks of who the boys are in every chapter by far, except there is one thing that I have not yet revealed and I hope it will catch people off guard when I write it. This would be the start to a budding friendship... the story is all about the friendship building and not being able to meet in person until the conclusion of the story, and how people expectations maybe are more than what they bargain for.

    Chapter 1

I am glad you liked it, I guess I envisioned how I'd be meeting someone new. I not the best people person in the world but I do try. Perhaps a little bit of the nervousness I'd feel is present in the story, but most of it changes in the later chapter once they become more accustomed. I hope you enjoy the rest of the story. Thanks for the comment

    Chapter 13

To Sherlock, I never considered it that way. I figure you could say it was a little weird on Friday how I was the last one leaving school between the both of us. Usually, I am long gone when the bell goes, except I decided to stay back to see if you had sent me another letter before the weekend. I am happy I did because you did and I answered your letter all before I left school. Funny I suppose, I was in the middle of writing my previous letter when this guy I have never seen before in my l

    Chapter 14

Oh no, it has been quite addictive from the get-go. I just mean when you sit down to read short bursts it is addictive; and that you hate having to pull yourself from the story lol.
  21. A descriptive read with beautiful imagery and a sense of realism. I enjoyed this quick read and I am confident many will appreciate the raw captivating emotion of rebirth. I implore... read this nice short

Lovely piece of imagery. An awakening; a new beginning. Who knows what the future can hold? I thoroughly enjoyed the short

    Chapter 14

Another great chapter Geron. The zombie gets more sophisticated in every chapter he appears. The provoking dance was no expected and I loved how you brought the event about. Hope that whatever comes up that everyone makes out it out alive. The group is beginning to second-guess if their original plan will work because he is showing advanced intelligence. Although having an alternative escape route is a good idea... this story is pretty addictive once you begin reading that you hate having to put the book away to get other things done.
  24. Here I am a man standing at the divergent pathway of insanity. Below the swamped-out tracks of a passing wagon engraved its nature into the soft mud. A listless hand hopped as it hung from the rear of the dark stained floor of the chariot which would house a dozen or so bodies of young men and boys who fought for a foolish man's cause. No better than a pawn for chess; innocent souls took to the battleground for reasons they could not quite understand. Fought tirelessly for moral
