Somebody To Listen

   (2 reviews)

Wyatt is a troubled Middle School student. When the recent effects of bullying come to head in a brutal act of rage, everyone is left wondering why such a sweet child would do such a thing. Then for the first time in his life, and his parents, someone on the school board listens.

The following story includes a brief description of violence, where a child lashes out unintentionally and hurts another due to bullying.

I have nothing against the American School Board, this story is a frequent of my imagination.

A well written and thought provoking story with a good deal of insight, it deserves to be read by all.

A very well written tale. Great character definition. It shows the effects of bullying and how it never ends well. Quite sad to begin with but with a great ending.

Highly recommend this as a great short story to read.

Response from the author:

Thank you for your kind words and time. I am glad that you enjoyed the short read. As with the story beginning sad and ending hopeful. Well, that's me lol. Oddly I like sad stuff; like Stephen King likes freaky sh*t.
