When I do my re-write, I'll make this a bit clearer. Given that I'm writing first person, and in a diary format, I am limited to one POV. Especially, the way this story has been set up. I guess Matias is just hopeful, just like what you said.
-
Perhaps, maybe not, but I sure Matias told Kyle to be weary of Sonny. I believe that Matias was trying to cash in a favour, and it just turned sour.
-
I believe he told Kyle to be cautious of him, seeing that he has a predilection for teenage boys. However, in this case Matias presumably thought he was their best chance, seeing as his condition, he'd be more willing for eg... a favour. I don't think Matias intentionally sent Kyle there for that to happen. At best, he thought the old geezer would help him considering their past.
-
Possibly so, but I guess he just wanted to protect himself. Can't really blame him, but I suppose you are right. He has gone and made things worse.

I’m still at Doug’s apartment, and I know what you’re thinking. Actually, you’re a dumb book so, scratch that thought out. I would’ve left the first chance I got, but Matias had other plans. Even though we packed, I’m still running errands. Will my life ever return to normal; you know where I’m not doing chores for people who don’t care about me? Well, I ran errands, and now it's the end of the night, and well, I'm still alive. I can't believe how close I came to dying or worse. I'll get to that

I woke up on the other side of the reception, surrounded by brown dust floating in the air. Through the brown cloud, I could make out the fire, so the gas had done the trick, but it had done a number on the entrance hall. There were pieces of concrete and glass everywhere, and my clothes were covered in thick grime. My ears ached inconsolably; and I wasn't even sure if I was still alive. Though when I reached out to Jonathan, who had landed beside me, I was pretty sure it was real. He had s

Writing this chapter was great fun... I finally got to kill Bao. Glad you enjoyed the conclusion too.

Outside I didn't wait for an invitation. There were screams and banging coming from behind the reception desk. All that noise came from the small staff room beyond the reception, and it had to be Elliot. Meaning Bao was close enough for Elliot to be fearful of him. Jimmy broke the glass with his mop, which proved to be helpful in the end. I reached in, unhooked the ax from the box, and pulled it out. I wielded the weapon carefully. I was a bit apprehensive about holding the thing, but seein

A bit of humour always lifts the macabre.

Looking across, I saw Jimmy crouched with his hand out, waiting for me to grab hold and make haste. It was all it took for me to realize that the two boys were working together to help me out, and that Jimmy had left his cocoon after being the person who didn't want to leave it. Helping me up, Jimmy was able to drag me to the door. All I could do was hobble along, but the pain dissipated with each step. We avoided the main exit. Instead, Jimmy brought me to the storeroom linked to the back

The clothes he wore were a little worse for wear, some tattered, and ripped fabric with a dash of dried blood on his flaying garments that flacked with his movement. I could sense the hunger. Now it made some sense. Sebastián wanted me; so, he befriended me and tried to ease his way into my social circle. The new blood arrived on the block; he peed on me, and Sebastián didn't like that very much. Therefore, they fought over me. In a weird twisted way, I felt flattered, but not to the point

Thanks I hope you enjoy the rest of the story. Its a repost, an updated version.

Elliot was happy to see me, and Jimmy, well… he seemed perturbed. It was as if he was looking through the window at a ghost. I couldn't help but smile at them, and Elliot darted for the door. He started pulling away some of the equipment blocking the entrance, only to be yanked back by Jimmy. "What the hell are you doing? He could be one of them," Jimmy rebuked. He glanced from me to Elliot in alarm. "But he's…." Elliot began. It was evident that he wanted to defend my honor, but

He could probably find somebody to track down the location of the boys cellphones, but since most criminal don't want a digital trail, he'll probably rely on the old fashion way of extorting information from people. Thanks for reading and commenting

It's bad; and with Salvatore knowing where Kyle lives its only matter of time before he comes knocking on that door. This is where the boy will be on the run, and they'll need to keep their wits up if they want to make it out of this alive. Thanks for reading and commenting

Well.... Salvatore coming after the boys, the kids running for their lives as Sal has one goal... Kill them... Thanks for reading I hope you are enjoying the progression.

Day 50 Matias slept most of the evening until he woke up early, around 6PM, thirsty, looking for a drink. I must have drifted off not long after finishing my entry last night; nothing else got jotted down, and I don't recall moving from the chair either. I woke up because Matias was moaning as he tried to sit up on the mattress. Evident that he was in agony from the now presumably cracked rib, I offered to fetch a glass of water from the kitchen faucet. If he moved as little as possi

Bending under the support column at the bottom, I came out beside a load of pointy rebar. And on it, there was an impaled boy, but it wasn't Bao. I was struck with guilt when I rounded the jagged cropping to get a better look at the kid who was skewered on the top of the pikes. More confusion manifested when I saw that it was Sebastián. My mind couldn't offer any viable excuse as to why he was hanging up there with spikes through his entire body. ‘Why was he trying to kill me?’ He was

Yes, the alarm didn't go off because Austin was home, and I'm sure there is footage of the boys breaking into the house, and perhaps his mother saw it. Yet, Austin didn't seem prepared when Kyle came across Matias and Austin in the kitchen. I guess we'll find out about what happened to the usb later on, or in another story lol. Matias's future, however, is not looking great, I'll admit that much. Thanks for commenting.

Or maybe Salvatore just wanted them to pull off a robbery, and Thomas Copeland had no clue, neither did Austin. Thomas Copeland is bringing Sal to court on charges of indictment for dr*g running, g*n smuggling and more. Austin Copeland was home alone after he broke his arm the previous day; and the alarm wasn't activated, as normally most people don't put a security alarm on when they are home. Thanks for comment; I guess we'll find out more as the story progresses.

Well thats a strong statement, but I hope the ending is justified. I can't promise anatomy will be removed, but some folks might be exiting the world.

Oh my indeed lol... thanks for the comment

Well the plan is for things to gradually get worse, so, buckle up

Day 49 I think we are fucked. Everything that could have gone awry went sideways and fast. When I woke this morning, I felt it would go off without a hitch, but…. the day slowly went south after breakfast. When Matias rang the doorbell around 7:30 AM, all I wanted to do was faceplant back into the pillow on my bed. Never mind getting dressed in something conspicuous and making my way to the lawyer’s house to rob it. I probably looked like one of those cat burglars from the Sims. Arri

I guess we'll know when they rob the house, this kid could go all home alone on their asses, or maybe he just hates his parents and he'll help them take what they need. Or... maybe he's just not home. Thanks for the comment and reading.
