Thank you Seth! I can’t believe Rory hadn’t figured out Luke likes him and he might brush off what Seth says as nonsense though hopefully he’ll see the light.

He’s clearly jealous. He liked Seth enough but when he saw them joking in the pool knowing Seth likes Rory he probably got upset. He likely believes Rory has similar feelings towards Seth at this point and that is likely to occur given enough time if he doesn’t speak up. He was probably surprised he was invited to join them by Rory because he thought he’d be interrupting their private time but if I liked Rory I probably would have joined them.

I know this is old but this is definitely not the impression I got. I really don’t like Rory’s grandmother. Her reasons for lying supposedly was because it’s what his mother would have wanted but the letter to Rory from his mother said that if his grandmother did as she was supposed to he would have gotten it right after the funeral. Seems like grandma doesn’t walk on egg shells around him but does whatever she wants believing she’s always right. I don’t get the impression Eddie & Jace treat him in ways underserving/giving him extra privileges as they let Luke get away with plenty too. I think Rory had every right to be upset over the lies and Luke kinda irritated me when he claimed it was the same as him not revealing his sexuality to them because it wasn’t the same in my eyes. I mean sure he wasn’t honest either but as Luke admitted Rory wasn’t open about his sexuality with very many people so there was no reason to automatically trust them with that secret while they were all openly gay to everyone except him. It’s just not that they lied but Luke’s friends lied for them. Luke is simply being a good friend from what I see but is obviously still hiding things because he clearly likes Rory not that I blame him for being cautious with his heart after Aaron, Eddie is not letting Rory just run wild but had put his foot down, and Jace gave him the lovely sex talk though it was ridiculous telling him to be a good little virgin to avoid STDs lol. I don’t see him as a spoiled kid just a insecure & upset teenager. He just realized his emotions were being toyed with by the first guy he’s ever had a relationship with and this all happens after moving to a strange place following his mother’s death. Rory is going to need time to adjust to everything that’s happened in a short period of time and Eddie may let him slide a little on some things because he wants his son in his life.

Aaron seems like a true user. Yeah he’s moderately affectionate sometimes but he’s forceful mainly seeming to want to satisfy his needs. Rory is also a little naive when it comes to Luke as Luke clearly has feelings for him case in point in an early chapter where Luke “accidentally” pressed his bulge against his butt before he knew Rory was gay as well as the whole underwear thing. I’m not buying he put Roey’s underwear on my accident. I wish Luke would just confess his feelings because Rory would choose him in a heartbeat I’m sure.

I wish Rory had gotten close enough to overhear Aaron and his friends rather than getting spotted by him. He probably would have heard some revealing and interesting information if he had. The whispering between Aaron & Seth and what Seth said is highly suspect. I mean sure on the surface Aaron has good excuses and there’s no reason to trust Seth yet clearly there’s a lot Rory doesn’t know. Part of this is the fact Aaron is the first guy to show interest in Rory and Rory seems insecure so he wants Aaron to like him. I just wish he would listen to his instincts.

Rory needs to learn to trust his instincts. He kept having little warning bells go off about Aaron outside of what Luke told him yet he ignores them. Things like Aaron’s rapid change in attitude, his sudden bursts of irritation & anger, the way Aaron got annoyed when Rory interrupted his conversation with Seth by dropping the glass, the fact Aaron is smart enough to see Seth still likes him yet ignores how that would make Rory feel, how aggressive Aaron can be, etc...should all tell Rory to stay away from him. Luke’s irritation over it is also likely jealousy so in part this could have been avoided if Luke had told Rory the truth vs claiming they were like family so nothing would ever happen between them, though this is only my theory.

This was a great story and I read it knowing it wasn’t finished, which is a decision I don’t regret. The specific people who reacted plus how excited Jacob seemed to be points toward Andy Jr. likely being the surprise guest. The editor’s comment about Chase toying with Ethan’s emotions seems inaccurate to me as he never told Ethan he was attracted to him. I am certain he’ll get jealous when he sees Ethan dating another guy. I feel sorry for him because despite having gay friends he clearly realizes he’s attracted to Ethan but is suppressing it because it essentially isn’t normal in his mind at least for him. Clearly he’s bisexual or bicurious. I wish he had confided in Jacob so he would have help dealing with these emotions vs denying them since he’s not going to be happy in the long run if he denies his feelings.

Jacob’s hard headed attitude regarding his health drives me up the wall. He’s going to kill himself if he doesn’t learn to seek medical attention when needed.

I wish Tom had thought before even mentioning what the Coach said to Jacob. Jacob ignores his health issues so much he might not even think of it but with his health issues, especially his spine, being tackled by a football player could be a serious health risk. He is definitely not someone who should play contact sports and hopefully Dr. Whitmore would have found out if he actually decided to play. Dr. Whitmore wasn’t even sure it was safe for him to run track at one point. Jacob is just so hard headed when it comes to his health it’s like he has a mental problem.

You know I thought Jacob was overreacting about feeling like the guys were pulling away but I don’t like the revealation that none of the guys, including Joey, ever planned a birthday party for him. I mean he may have told them not to but he doesn’t give any indication of that. It reminds about how it wasn’t just Joey but none of the guys helped him when his mom showed up even when she was violent, it reminds me how when Greg initially showed up at his house Jacob. looked at the guys and noted they wouldn’t be any help like usual, etc... They could have helped stand up to his mother at various times and if the guys had forcefully escorted Greg out Jacob might not have gotten violent with him. His friends seem fickle sometimes especially the time they sided with Joey giving Jacob the silent treatment despite saying that Jacob was in the right. Jason is worrisome. Jacob never takes a break and I hate how stubborn he is about his health. He’s doesn’t want to die yet he’s often making a suicidal choice when it comes to medical treatment.

I kinda get where Billy is coming from sort of with his reaction to his mother dating. I’m one of those rare people who while I didn’t dislike my mother I didn’t care when my parents divorced. My mother and I were never very close especially compared to how close I was to my dad, who ended up with custody of me. I still freaked, though I never said a word, when my mom started dating. I remember feeling irrational and not understanding why I was upset considering I didn’t mind they divorced yet I definitely did not like the guy she was dating, the simple fact she was dating, etc... I guess many kids in similar situations to Billy would react negatively.

Has Joey never heard of a surrogate parent and artificial insemination? He’s actually listening to his family and leaving Jacob to have a “normal”, straight family life with the goal of children expecting Jacob to just take him back. Knowing Jacob he probably would assuming he hadn’t met someone else by then because you don’t treat your true love this way. Joey will probably come crawling back sooner rather than later spouting off about how much he loves Jacob and whining about how he was pressure by his family to do what he did. The way he was able to hold back his emotions when leaving and just came off cold, the way he distanced himself from Jacob before he even left, etc...all adds to the stuff he’s pulled over the years. True love...doesn’t seem like it to me.

Andy is a definite hypocrite talking about being worried that Jacob has so big of a heart people will take advantage of him and I find it weird Chase likes him so much. Chase’s inner monologue pretty much called Andy a jerk about how he is worried he’ll jump to asking Jacob for money for the wedding, references how Andy is supposedly upset because he only seeks his brother out when he’s in trouble, knows he’s in the wrong about Normal but sits there expecting that Jacob will be the bigger man which while true is irritating because Chase doesn’t say anything to Andy about his attitude, etc... I love the character of Jacob and while his compassion is an amazing thing I wish he wouldn’t give in to everyone letting them walk all over him. I mean his mother abuses him but he’s like oh that’s mom while I personally would have gotten a restraining order a long time ago. I also hate that as nice as the character as Beth has been now she suddenly doesn’t trust Jacob or his grandfather despite everything they have done for her & Joey. If she starts badmouthing them it will kill Jacob.

Jacob definitely went overboard as he was in a blind rage. I wish some of the other guys had stepped up and forcibly escorted the guy out vs Jacob going off on him. If the guy dies Jacob will never forgive himself and if Joey says the wrong thing this won’t end well because in his mood while he believes Joey isn’t cheating he might lose it if Joey tells him he did the wrong thing. The cops are acting like the cop that arrested him when he told him it was his home believing he was lying and arrogant so I don’t know how this will turn out. Seems like the cops are mostly made up of jerks but at the same time his actions were over the top.

Jacob’s heart is too big. I can’t believe he’s going to pay for Andy’s wedding after all and is going to try to help the guy who tried to kill him because he’s had a tough life.

I think I’m more mad at Andy for going to his mom knowing she couldn’t help with the wedding finances and knowing she’d have to go to Jacob for money than I am for the way she acted. Gloria is a witch so her actions aren’t surprising yet Andy’s are. Why can’t the bride’s family chip in some cash? They know Jacob has a lot of money and just want him to foot the bill despite hating him not to mention Andy constantly siding with Normal, which is an ironic name. I’m giving Joey the benefit of the doubt for a second because he didn’t initiate this sexual contact and the chapter ends abruptly without us seeing how he fully reacts, though he did slap the guy’s hand away from his dick, so hopefully he pushes the guy away though I don’t like the fact the guy was initially rubbing on him without him doing anything about it plus he says “we were kissing” meaning I assume he was kissing back. Ugh Joe isn’t the best guy most of the time and I can’t believe he keeps hurting the guy he supposedly loves.

Grandpa is dead wrong. With the way Mom/Gloria acted in front of them not to mention her scheming, which they sadly don’t know about, they should let her live there while retaining ownership of the house. She doesn’t deserve having her name on the deed period but I would let her live there if only for Marie’s sake. I am worried about Andy because I was hoping he was going to clean up he his act and maybe get some perspective since his brother has had a much harder life yet hasn’t been drawn to drugs like he has so I hoped Jacob would be a role model for his older brother.

I can’t believe this. Not only did Joey sleep with them rather than try to resolve things with Jacob after he screwed up but then he records them having sex on their bed not to mention his sunposed 1 time with them happened to be recorded on video? That sounds planned not a moment of passion where he felt like he needed comforting plus it just shows David screwed him over again too. Did Joey really think even it was alright for him to record them and in their bed? I mean even if he hadn’t slept with them in the past nor planned to that’s just wrong especially without Jacob’s knowledge not that he would have been ok with it. Ugh I didn’t fully trust Joey for a while after the thing with David but I had come to trust him again...but now I think Jacob could do so much better.

I feel sorry for David over his relationship with Tom, but his comment about hoping now that Jacob had been found it would get Joey out of his crappy mood grated on my nerves. So now Jacob and Joey not only have a so so friend to rely on but Jacob is in danger again because they think he’ll testify against this gang member. I guess in retrospect if Jacob had testified and pointed out the ones that attacked him he might not be in this situation but with their connections he was probably correct in the danger to his life if he had testified. This poor kid can’t catch a break.

Wow, when Joey essentially seduced David I really disliked him and didn’t know if he could be trusted anymore not that I was happy with David either. When David essentially called Jacob whiny & to get over what happened I knew right then I didn’t like the guy. I was shocked later when he talked with Joey and it sounded like Joey had wanted to date him or hook up again since he was misinterpreting Joey’s attempt to tell him he was back with Jacob as wanting to be with him saying they had already gone over that resulting in the decision they should just be friends. In the end I am honestly on the fence with both characters despite how much Joey seems to love Jacob but in this chapter David comes off as major jerk when he doesn’t want to hang out with Joey because he’s upset over Jacob being missing. As far as they know Jacob could actually be dead, kidnapped, or best case scenario living on the streets without his meds yet David just considers Joey a bummer to be around because he’s actually worried making me see David never cared for Jacob as much as Joey does even just as a friend.

I honestly think Will won’t say anything about having an open relationship to Dillon because I think it’s over with Zach at least for now plus it’s not like he tells everyone he hooks up with so unless they actually date I doubt he’d feel obligated to tell him. I honestly wish that toxic relationship would end just like I couldn’t wait for the relationship between JJ & Alex to end as while JJ is often annoying I knew that was a truly toxic situation which he didn’t deserve as he needs a true loving relationship. I rooted for Will & Zach for a long time but at this point it looks like Will is the only one who cares anymore and that Zach has always gotten way more out of the relationship. I don’t think Zach has wanted Will around much for a while and now that he has someone to have sex with that is easier to sneak around with I don’t think he cares at all if Will sticks around. Dillon has been acting nervous from his introduction especially when Will asked why he was visiting and the way he reacts to how Will respects his family makes me think there’s more hidden drama regarding Dillon than he’s telling despite his story about his eye sounding believable. Will can usually read people well but with his current emotions regarding his infatuation over Dillon plus his turbulent emotions over Zach he might not be getting a clear reading on Dillon possibly because deep down he doesn’t want to see any negative things as he’s looking for someone to care for rather than a hookup to help with his pain over Zach.

Poor Will. I don’t think Zach ever loved him to the same degree and he’s always been a bit of a user. I mean technically Will just does a lot for him without being asked but he’s done a lot for Zach which I think Zach takes it for granted. Now it looks like they’ve grown apart or Zach has to the point he only wanted him for sex which he doesn’t need anymore now that he has this perfect guy to hook up with. I mean deep down inside Will might have felt like Zach couldn’t sleep around much because he’s terrified he’ll get caught & outed without a cover like hanging out with a cousin yet now here’s the perfect person to hook up with as he can make plenty of excuses for spending time around the assistant coach. It also shows how much Zach cares about commitments and relationships when he can have sex with a married guy without even the slightest trace of guilt. He doesn’t need Will anymore for now anyway but I’m sure he’ll reach out to him again. I hope Will ignores him though cause it’s a toxic relationship.

Jeez you know I wasn’t sure the relationship between Will and Zach would work out and I think Will deserves better but...that was twisted. It’s obvious Zach only wants Will for sex now and it seems he just uses him most of the time. I mean based on that comment by the assistant Coach plus the fact Zach initially pulled up his pants I’m guessing it wasn’t planned by Zach for him to have sex with guy. Zach was assentially raped except he was ok with it. I mean some guy jumps out of the shadows, slaps you on the ass, refuses to put on a condom, and you just say to ur um well not sure if boyfriend applies but you’re lover it’s ok while he possibly gives you an STD. That’s twisted and shows Zach is just becoming a slut. I thought he’d actually be forced to not sleep around much despite the open relationship as he could easily get caught which he's terrified of but hey the assistant coach is the perfect person to hook up with without getting caught. Ugh I actually hope they don’t stay together because Will is getting a lot a raw deal here.

I can’t wait for more. I wish when this was finished some spell checking was done and a massive book of the entire series was released even just as an ebook iTunes. I hate to say it because it doesn’t match his character and maybe I’m just reading too much into it yet I don’t trust Brandon completely for 2 reasons. The biggest being Billy called him out on kissing Stevie on the lips and he didn’t deny it yet Billy seems to forget that fact seconds later. His exactly response was something like “It wasn’t like we were making out.” and maybe I’m reading too much into that. I mean if Billy had said they were photos of them kissing in general it could be implied it was a cheek kiss or something but even if it was just a small peck goodbye who kisses their ex on the lips? It doesn’t feel right. Brandon could have also claimed and possibly rightly so the photos were old from when they dated but while Billy doesn’t show them to Brandon he just gives the impression everything Billy said is true just misinterpreted. Brandon doesn’t feel like the type to cheat but I just can’t get over the kiss on the lips thing. The second reason is not really that big a deal as Billy wasn’t completely honest though I get his reasons yet Brandon doesn’t want anymore secrets while at the same time when they got back together he reveals he slept with someone that he supposedly can’t reveal the identity of. Some suspect Billy’s fears are right and it’s AJ/Alex yet why would he feel the need to hide that jerks name? I mean I get Billy feared Brandon would freak if he knew he worked with Robin if he knew their history and I get his probable fear despite nothing nothing going on now about telling him about Sam as they always disliked each other plus Brandon might not like them hanging out anymore yet he should have at least pulled a Brandon not revealing their names yet admitting it happened with more guys plus he should have revealed the complicated whole AJ/Alex history if only because that would reveal if Brandon knew him for us readers lol. Honestly though I think he should have been completely honest because these lies of omission are going to likely come back to bite him like always. Anyway I just wonder if it’s ever revealed if the mystery lover is anyone Billy knows and that’s why it’s a secret or if it just that whoever it is requested he not say because they’re in the closet sorta like how somewhat staight Sam doesn’t want anyone to know what they did. It could be someone crazy like Jamie Cross or Sam though I sincerely doubt that with 99% accuracy. It would be a real twist if it was Trace but that’s not going to be it either I’m sure. AJ/Alex wouldn’t feel like a real twist except I don’t get why he wouldn’t want to reveal his name as he doesn’t know their history for that to be a reason & AJ/Alex wouldn’t care for anyone knowing. Of course you never know who it could be. Brandon almost seems to blame Billy a little for it even happening as he says one of his reasons for it is was because Billy wasn’t talking to him after Stevie broke up with him yet I thought Billy tried yet was shut down by Brandon but there are often contradictions in the series in my opinion such as a while back Sam when talking about Jimmy says Billy didn’t try getting back with Brandon nor told Brandon how he felt rather he just tried to move onto someone better yet he did try repeatedly including following Joey’s advice to try becoming close as friends which was given in front of Sam so he should know he tried. So Brandon was lonely and this guy was there to pick up the pieces making him feel better...Lee? Heh I’m just really curious and a tad suspicious. I just guessed Lee because it’s obviously not someone who wanted to date Brandon just a physical thing which could be a supposed straight guy like Sam, an emotionally suppresssed guy like Lee, or a horny jerk like AJ/Alex though I say like them as I just don’t know if I feel it could be anyone of them except maybe Lee. Jimmy would use it as ammunition to steal Billy if it were him and no way it was Bobby considering how the breakup occurred as he wouldn’t do anything with him. The reveal of it happening was so far back now it might not be a story plot In the future yet I hope we get more info. Billy needs a possibly slept with Brandon list like his birthday kiss list lol. I know writing is hard work but I wish you all the inspiration in the world as this series is great so I’m dying for a new chapter. Glad I found it just now as so much of it was already written.
