  1. "Every time we ordered something else, or if we needed our empty plates taken away, the robot came back and looked at us and smiled on his little screen! And if he got stuck, one of the staff members would give him a smack on the head, and he'd turn around and go back to the kitchen - what a time to be alive!" Elijah's grin widened, listening to the speakerphone as he tried to make his annoying, curly hair behave itself. He'd expected to get a trim over the Summer holidays and get some nice
  2. Thank you both! Definitely an honour! The audacity, the cheek, the nerve, the gall and the impertinence!

    Mended Heart

I'm glad! I thought why not ☺️ something low commitment and to kind of take the sting off Tyson's brattiness in the other story! Thank you! I'm glad you liked it! It was worth learning what a piroshki was and how to make one 😅 Hahaha I don't think Tyson will cope well with losing at any stage of his life, but especially before his growth! Masha is a pretty swish lady - I don't think she'd ever stand in the way of her kids being happy! (Just when they're trying to be alone!) It was my pleasure! I hope the other side of Tyson was a nice change ☺️ Thank you for the comment!
  4. Though he'd been worried about oversleeping and getting woken up rudely by the woman who had taken him in as one of her own children, Tyson had barely slept a wink all night. It wasn't due to an unfamiliar setting, with starchy sheets, constant noise and a nurse shining something in his eyes every hour like clockwork. Nor was it Chad's annoying snoring or the sounds of footsteps creeping to the communal bathroom in the hall outside. He was excited - and terrified. Apprehensive was the correct wo
  5. Three short stories about couples in my completed stories (Heart, Oakfield, To The Stars) enjoying Valentine's Day together.
  6. Thank you so much for the cameo! This was a lot of fun to write & functions as a canonical spinoff of To The Stars or just a standalone story. I really personally enjoyed the cast of characters I spun up - whether they're amiable treasures or hostile little snots. Thank you Chris! I always encourage people to watch the weakest link 😜 criminally underrated game show format! Look... yes She's amazing - I can't say the same for the contestants! Bitchy is my bread and butter 😜 Gracias amigo! Best of luck with the Spanish students. ❤️
  7. ~ Genevieve ~ "Thank you SO much, Tammy. I'll call you back tomorrow and let you know what I've decided! Thank you, thank you, THANK YOU!" "I look forward to hearing from you. Bye-bye now," the voice on the other side was keen to hang up. Genevieve excitedly brushed the long blond hair behind her shoulders and squealed into her hands. Letting her giddiness subside, she got up from the edge of her bed and barrelled from the room she shared with two foster sisters into the sitting
  8. Hahaha it was a lengthy battle but Elijah pulled through despite everything Tyson did to ensure a win! Close fight! Tyson tended to occasionally let some of his guard down in the periods between rounds when the camera wasn't looking! There is a little something I've got ready to post perhaps today after my flight or tomorrow after I sleep in 😅 The contest is over! But the saga has a little more to go yet. ☺️ Everyone except Tyson is probably happy about it! I'm glad you're happy for Elijah 🙂 My secret is that this was not the original winner haha 😅 so poor ObicanDecko probably got a surprise! Thank you so much friend, and thank you so much for your support! Tyson says you're a loser and he doesn't need your adoration. (But Heart Tyson says he appreciates it a lot!) Thank you Gary! I won't vote you off that's sure! 😘 I'm glad you enjoyed! I hope you read the next rubbish I post! An epilogue/teaser to follow.
  9. At any point in the last six rounds, it would be easy to point to Tyson as the most confident among the finalists. He'd come in with a game plan and ruthlessly voted out whoever would be least productive to a large bank. That didn't come to fruition in the last round, as Elijah lost a tremendous amount of money, and Sona flipped the script and tried to vote him off instead. Tyson's illusion of a perfect game was destroyed, and the haughtiness and self-assurance had now given way to visible frust
  10. I admit I'm having to rely somewhat on your comments to remember what happens chapter to chapter! Though I got a chuckle or grin out of every single one of these, I two of these are genuinely things I would have liked to have written in! (Spoilers the Luiza & Audrey one is amazing and I WISH I did that!) Thank you so much for the thoughtful comments! Fingers crossed no chapters come by that ruin the story! 😜

    Round Six

hahaha! I'd be thrilled to hammer out any dialogue-driven scenes if someone else had the patience to beautifully set the scene! I wouldn't let you skip to Tyson's story without a warning that Heart is a particularly dark text with a lot of confronting themes - plus it's a LOT of Tyson, being the protagonist I'm a little hesitant to talk further about projects I haven't finished (ADHD) but if all goes well this isn't the last you'll see of this ensemble

    Round Six

It certainly went lord of the flies very quickly! Tyson says he doesn't need your support 😜 but Vanessa, Veikko and Sona all appreciated your comment very much. I can't say for sure whether Sona likes you or not, but you would never find out until she wants you to find out. No spoilers! ❤️ Stop it Gary you're going to make my day! I love writing dialogue, so I'm glad that comes across in the finished product! I tend to struggle with vivid descriptions and setting a scene 😛 Thank you very much! This is supposed to be Tyson before the events of Heart, so I'm not about to disagree I'm not about to post his entire motivation & redemption in this little spinoff but when thinking of a primary antagonist for this story, he was an absolute shoe-in from my existing characters! Thanks for sticking with us! One more chapter to come - unless I decide to scribble up an epilogue!
  14. As soon as Veikko had disappeared through the red-lit tunnel of shame, the final three should have been all smiles, but they felt uncomfortable. Since the first round, none of them had ever sent a vote at the other, trusting the other members of the trio to have their backs. They were all strong players and shared a mutual goal - but now, with one final vote coming up, they would need to betray someone. Sona, in the middle of the two, broke the silence first. "We made it, guys," she beamed
  15. I appreciate that - I wrote Heart during a notably difficult period. If I were to rewrite, I would do a lot of things differently. Particularly the middle of the story, in which I would cut out a lot of the gloomy bloat. While I can assure you without spoiling the story that it does get better for both the readers and for Tyson, this story won't be edited any time soon & if so, it'd probably break the established rules of publishing on GA anyway. Thank you for your feedback.

    Round Five

haha! No sir, I didn't! The salties threaten you on the north coast. I'm way down on the south coast! My biggest threat at the beach is hypothermia! He sure did his best to drive a wedge between the others, but it didn't work in the end. Do you think so? 😜 Let's find out when we return to the Weakest Link... I promise it'll be here in like two days! Thank you everyone for the support! Lovely to wake up to 😘 Round Six to come soon!

Too many alpha personalities in the same room! Tyson & Sona for the chop?

    Round Two

In my first WL story I narrated from the first person of one of the contestants, so I never got to do the exit interviews except for his! Wasn't going to miss out a second time!

You mean it's not Edith?? (Should have brought Vlady instead! 😜) Thank you! I'm glad you enjoyed it!
  20. Following Topher's departure and the drama that had ensued throughout the round, the mood was heavy despite the contestants hitting the top prize twice in a row. Tyson and Veikko did little but stare each other down, and Sona and Elijah both seemed content to simply make it to the end by riding out the storm. "You made it halfway," Sona broke the silence by reminding Elijah that he'd succeeded in his mission. He beamed excitedly at her. "I did! And so did you. How far did you expect to

    Round Four

No spoilers! But he was never good at making friends no matter which story he appeared in. haha I'm glad you're having fun Gary, there's a lid for every pot apparently, I didn't think anyone shared this very niche interest! The USA reboot has Jane Lynch and she's a lot of fun as well.

    Round Four

Hahaha! Yes he does! & Yes he better. Thank you!
  23. Five contestants remained. Of the five, Topher was hands down the most nervous. Not one round had gone by in which he didn't receive votes from his rivals. The Tyson, Sona and Elijah trio stood grouped on the left, Topher between two empty podiums and Veikko at the end. Tyson, Sona and Elijah all looked confident in their performance. Veikko was challenging to read, his eyes constantly passing over the others. It was Tyson who laid down the strategy for the round going forward. "Top five,"
