❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️ such a fleeting yet sweet tale. You don't have many chapters, yet Adam, Kaleo & others are so rich and intoxicating that it feels as though I've read half a million words about them. That's your talent, I suppose! Their love and grief and sadness and joy is all so perfectly and delicately written. They come to life as I read about them. I loved it! ❤️

Haha Ezra being so little isn't a big deal on its own wrestling companies though have reputations for prioritising size over everything else. The only "small" guy in KADA Wrestling is Sean Fox - everyone else Ezra watches in the career he aims for is much, much bigger than him. It's not great for his self-esteem. Ezra's lack of height is heavily implied to be a consequence of repeated cancer treatments. I'm glad that checks out as factual! Beau's priority is keeping Ezra safe, but especially after he fell on his neck, the paramour is certainly not happy to hear that Ezra is still trying to make it his life! From beginning to end, Book of Venoms is a captivating tale of courage, adventure and many different shades of love - brotherly, paternal, romantic and friendly. Relationships between characters - whether positive or negative - feel sincere and authentic, and the author leaves no character without motive and depth! Set in a different land from Fairyfly, Book of Venoms manages to retain the best of its predecessor yet leave an impression entirely its own. Shifting is once a core component of the story, but the author continues to make it feel fresh and unique all over again. At first glance the plot appears to be simple and linear, but the complexity and nuance shines throughout and I was thoroughly hooked! I thoroughly recommend giving Book of Venoms a go. It functions as a sequel to Fairyfly, but stands on its own two feet as a powerhouse!

Bryan's sass makes my day 😁 the reunion was definitely special! The repairing of Castor and Sawyer's relationship was organic and sweet, and I think they're delightful together! WHO SPRUNG KING JERKHOLE FROM HIS PRISON?? What will blind King Jerkhole do in the next book, which will absolutely be written and completed by the end of the year? Oh I getcha I suppose had I set the epilogue in any of the other three weeks of their adult lives, it would have been a happily ever after! I suppose I wanted to show everyone how happy the boys are in spite of the hiccups along the way. Charlie did well! He's in his mid-twenties and now beginning to dip his toe in the pool of "adult life!" You are so, SO welcome! Those poor boys have had a really horrible week 😔 what else could go wrong for them? Fleeing a scorwaspent (trademarked) and running into Chief Doucheface. zzzz. Ercil is in a pretty horrid place, too! Imagine knowing that everyone you know and love is destined to die and being completely powerless to stop it. Cassandra's unique love for Xaviel is precious & I think it deserves a mention! Awesome chapter.

One thing I love so much about this story is that there is no one villain! Kotho, Xaviel, Macarius and Vaunga have all been the absolute worst person in the world. It's like "spin the bottle" fo jackasses 😂 Letha's death hit me pretty hard after she stood up for her baby boy, I was rooting for her to live and guide Ercil & the Mataki to a better way. Xaviel's response to seeing the entirety of the Mataki tribe at his doorstep makes me laugh. More or less tells them to f**k themselves 😏 and with good reason - Kotho talks a lot of crap for a dead guy! ❤️ The action in this chapter was so intense and chaotic and I LOVED it! Major thumbs up! ❤️
