    Chapter 3

cojones = balls from the Spanish. Side fact, In the city of San Francisco, formerly the northernmost of a chain of Spanish missions up the length of California there are two identical small hills called, in English, Twin Peaks. The English translation of the Spanish name of these hills is "Tits of the Virgin". At Highschool age, I was roped into dance lessons by my mother, but the first time I danced in public was with a boy and except for an extended period when I was married, have never danced with a female!

    Chapter 2

Small correction - the amount of genetic material contributed by Dorian's sire was less than a teaspoonful, it was only one little wiggler, a very aggressive one, but only one made it into home plate! lol. One additional fact about my freshman dorm. Because it was a living accommodation, it had to have fire escapes, but standard stair and balcony types would have invaded the public space of surrounding sidewalks, etc, so the architect called for the installation of multi-story towers at each corner of the building fitted out inside with steel slides spiraling down from the upper stories to ground level. It did not take too long before the residents discovered they were a fun way to get out of the building rather than wait for the elevator. They could not be locked up as that would stop emergency exiting, so most of the residents quickly adopted them as normal exits from the building - round and round in a spiral, then boom, out onto the sidewalk. The only problem was the noise of shoes and boots hitting the metal on the way down, (this was Arizona, of course) but the resident's butts kept them shiny and smooth!

    Chapter 1

Challenging start for an author. It shows great promise for interaction between conflicting personalities. I had hoped that Dorian's roommate would be either gay or accepting, but that doesn't seem to be working out. Underwear on the doorknob is a universally recognized signal, except in my case it was a sock, not briefs. I only had to put up with Mister Macho as a roommate for one year. He got a girl PG within 3 months and had to get married and drop out of school. Thankfully my next roommate, while not gay, was at least easier to live with. The dormitory in which I lived at the University of Arizona was built into space under the stadium seats and was quite modern. The only problem was on Friday nights when there was a football game over my head.
  4. This was a very complex story, but one that was based on a simple premise -- two brothers, identical twins, but one gay and the other straight, and their relationship with each other and with their family and friends. Ronyx is a master at handling this type of story and did not disappoint with this one. I am envious of his ability to interweave emotions and responses about, keeping his readers enthralled until all the threads work out in the end.

    Chapter 13

when I feel in love with his father, when I fell in love with his father, So we begin to untangle this complex web - would a solution be to offer the baby up for adoption? There is no history of drug or alcohol addiction to injure the fetus, so a healthy baby could be adopted into a new and loving family. This would be a legal solution, but not an emotional one. Devon is still going to be haunted by his past mistakes and attitude.

    Chapter 12

I don't believe milk and cookies are the answer to every teen problem. In this story, the mothers are the ones who are dumb and can think only of themselves and their own reputations.

    Chapter 8

Once again, Ronyx, you have written in the double twist with a backflip. Here it is the father who is supportive of his gay son rather than the mother. I can only hope she comes around and brings the twin son with her. The fact that one twin is gay and the other straight is no reason to drown one baby. It is usually the mother who is able to love all her children. I think there must be something in the female genes that supports mother love.

    Chapter 6

Two thumbs up are not enough - this chapter deserves ten fingers and ten toes. Ronyx, you are doing a fabulous job - twists and turns and double back-flips. An Olympic medal in gymnastics would be suitable reward for your writing, nothing less would do.

    Chapter 4

Apparently, DQ, you are correct. You inspired me to do some research on the past and past participle uses of the verb 'sink' and I find 'sunk' used frequently as a simple past tense. There is still some controversy among grammarians about the proper form, however. So, you are correct, but I am not wrong. How's that for a weasel stance? I love it when my suggestions about word usage are challenged. It makes me research among dusty tomes of English practice. I find my greatest problem comes between British usage and American usage. However, in this case, nobody seems able to give a definitive answer, both dialects using either form of the word in the simple past tense.

    Chapter 5

Fact: There is sperm in pre-ejaculation lubricant, and 'pulling out' is not effective for preventing conception. Fact: Dad is not accepting that one of his twin boys might be gay -- the parent is always the last to know. Fact: Dad is still trying to relive his past failures as a professional player through his sons. Fact: Mom, unfortunately, is totally off base about the sexuality of both her twin boys, in opposite directions. Fact: Ashley is too wound up in the 'Joy of Sex' to make a rational decision about her own actions. Fact: Any of the above can result in complications that teenagers are incapable of handling. Fact: Ronyx is an author who can handle any-all of the situations.

    Chapter 4

I have previously apologized to you publically on this site and regret that I am unable to remove some of my snarky comments. You are doing a superior job under difficult circumstances (self-editing is nearly impossible as the human eye-brain combination has a strong tendency to skip over errors). Please ignore my crass comments and continue with your superior writing.

    Chapter 3

The theme of identical twins, one gay and one str8 is a superior one to write about, but it does impose an onus on the author to keep the identities unconfusing to the reader. I wish you well and will anticipate reading each chapter.

    Chapter 2

Sorry about the faux pas in my comment. If I have any further suggestions I will be sure to make them in a PM. The writing, however, does not invite any criticism. It is very readable and the situations are realistic. Keep up the great work. I will promise not to embarrass you further with negative comments.

    Chapter 1

Since he had begun dating Ashley, he spent more time at her house or talking on the phone. He rarely had time to devote to him anymore. - A confusing statement, clarify who is dating by adding a name tag in some place in the paragraph. Interesting premise for a storyline. Identical twins, one gay one str8. Helps prove that being queer is not genetic (inherited) attribute, but guaranteed to cause confusion with friends. Casual acquaintances are going to have to learn to memorize haircuts.

    Chapter 1

Yes, EMI and Ronyx, the aphorism about bids singing -- or not, before a storm, has been verified by scientific exploration. See the Birds Singing Before a Storm thread on Ronyx@the Mustard Jar for a more expanded discussion. Mister Will

    Chapter 12

Bobby escaped by the skin of his teeth this time. I am always interested in Mark's revenge, but do not want to see anyone else getting hurt -- other than Scott, of course.
  17. Will Hawkins

    Chapter 11

Of course, the science fiction I used to read all the time is out-of-date now, but I remember sitting with my nose in a book for hours on end. My SF reading came on paper with garish covers, but it was a real learning experience for a young mind!
  18. Will Hawkins

    Chapter 10

Mark, by being a good kid, is beginning to gather a group of friends around him. A black basketball star is a real jewel in his crown. Let's see what Ronyx has plotted out to complete the revenge!
  19. Will Hawkins

    Chapter 8

The theme for this series is Mark's Revenge, but it looks like Bobby is stepping right up there, too. Excellent Chapter Ronyx. The only avenue left to be explored is proving Scott is even gayer -- in this case, I would be tempted to use the words more of a fag, than he is accusing Mark of being. but there is a whole passel of chapters yet to go!
  20. Will Hawkins

    Chapter 7

Well, we are making real progress now in Mark and Bobby's relationship. The return to school is going to be very interesting and Scott may not too far in the future, end up in Juvie!
  21. Will Hawkins

    Chapter 6

I had two "maiden aunts", Melrose and Jean, my Father's sisters, who lived together, but nobody ever said anything about it -- they were sisters after all and in that era, 1940's and 50's, nobody seemed to think too much about sisters living together. In light of what I know now, I am sure there was an undercurrent in their relationship that I did not detect. I just hope they were happy.
  22. Will Hawkins

    Chapter 5

Scott's situation is unfortunate, but his response, being a bully, is too. I know we are describing reactions of teens here, but it seems nobody is showing any signs of maturity

    Chapter 2

I am glad that Mark has someone in his life with whom he can confide. At the moment it appears that his mother is in shock, but she knows her sister is gay, yet is a good person, so I feel she will come around to Mark's side after whatever she had heard about him settles into her mind. As far as Amy is concerned, she has just killed the goose that laid the golden eggs. We will have to allow the author to create an appropriate punishment for her. My father had a sister named Melrose, every time we visited my grandmother we would go to see Melrose as well. All during my childhood Aunt Melrose was living with another woman named Jean I was so innocent, two maiden ladies living together did not raise any questions in my mind – it was just Aunt Melrose and Aunt Jean. It wasn't until I was fifteen or sixteen that any question raised in my mind. Aunt Melrose and Aunt Jean were just a part of the family. I began to realize at that age that two maiden ladies living together was not the norm, but there was never any shadow on their relationship – they were just Aunt Melrose and Aunt Jean.
  24. sayhe tried something once say he tried something once I am not usually a big zombie fan but I have had experience with Comicality stories before and just sort of fell into this one. At the moment it looks more like boy meets boy rather than a pure zombie tale, so I am going to stick with it a while. Com does such good work.
  25. leapt through the air onto his back, - leaped through the air onto the orc's back, Both leapt and leaped are acceptable past tenses of the verb leap though leapt is somewhat archaic and is seldom used. It is not an error, it is just rarely used.
