Aloha Albert, how's your day?
-
Really! Steve and Tony said he can go to hell 😠

Morning all. It's always nice when close friends stay over. The downside is I now have to cook breakfast of sausage, bacon, scrambled egg and pancakes with Maple Syrup, but it's worth it,

A brilliantly written story of mystery and suspense, with action, humour and romance all thrown in. You cannot go wrong by reading this story, it has so many twists and turns you will wonder which way you are facing, but you will not want to stop reading. It's a thrilling, gripping and fantastic story so read it. It's a recommended must-read.

Now I feel like I can breathe, after all of the twists and turns that you have put us through with this excellent story I didn't know what to expect in this last chapter. It's a great way to end the story. Jase returns to his old home not knowing what to expect but soon realises that life eventually went on without him. He gracefully accepts the way things have turned out with his old life and in many ways, he is relieved knowing that he too has moved on in the last seven years. His mission, or task, has come to an end and he has helped another on the way with their mission, in some ways it probably feels like a debriefing and helps to give him closure. You did have me thinking that Scott was going to take Lucas away from him, I'm glad that didn't happen. It's fitting that Jase has a future with Lucas and Macy. Thanks for a brilliant story, it's a fantastic read.

Wow, what a ride this has been. A great mystery that has so many twists and turns you don't know which way is up. It's had us all guessing all the way. Some of our guesses were right, others were wrong, but they all helped to keep the mystery going. The last part is yet to come, the part that tells us about who Jase is and his past. Will it tell us anything about his future and who features in it? I know, I have to read the last chapter to find out. So that's where I'm going now, I've enjoyed this story and wish there was more than one more chapter to come.

So many questions have been answered throughout this story, but there are still so many questions left unanswered. I'm giving up trying to guess, I just want to get to read the next chapter, which I can as I'm binge-reading after completion.

Hi Albert. It's a good day here, the sun is shining so I'm splitting my time between sitting in the sun and reading while planning out more of the story I'm writing. It's going to be a while before it's fully written but it's coming on well. How are things for you and Steve?

Hiya Terry, enjoy date night and let your hair down.

Those who suspected Swift were right, those who decided he was a good guy were wrong and those of us who decided to keep an open mind were just as wrong. So, what else do we know? Swift has the same or similar powers as Jase. Swift is the one who has Macy. What we don't know is, is if Swift operating alone, my guess is no, I'm sure he has help, although the help may not realise it if Swift is using his powers on them. We still don't know where Macy is but a closer look at her drawings may hold some clues about that, the same as they hold the information about Swift. I'm sure that the journal and Macy's drawings will be of more help if they look close enough. Does Martinez have any involvement? Maybe, but then she could be under Swift's influence, if she is she could be dangerous.

Well, that wasn't a total waste of time, by removing one theory they have narrowed things down and can check out other possibilities. The one thing that appears to be a constant is that they are up against someone with power, it is possible that Swift is that man and we haven't seen any clues as to who else it could be yet, unless we have missed something. I am starting to think of one other possibility although it is a far-out theory, is it possible that Macy is not only number forty but also the person they are up against? As I said it is a whacky far-out theory, but it is still possible. Or am I over-thinking this?

I'm sure that there is a good hospital that can help you with your delusions.

Well, these guys were doing well until they got to the dock. Now it looks like they have blundered into a cesspit of violence and uncertainty. Lucas has a gun pointed at him and Jase is blindsided by a whack to the head. Was that to stop Jase from using his powers? And if so how did they know he has them, the plot thickens and the mystery deepens. They are up against a formidable adversary, but who? I'm sure they will find a way out of this tight spot but when and how I don't know yet. The meeting with Zimmer didn't reveal all, so what else does this guy know that they need to know?

Why am I not surprised, lol

The USA is a signatory to The United Nations, the ICJ and the ICC. As Texas is a part of The USA it is indirectly a signatory. We all know that Drew will not like that news, but there is nothing he can do about it unless he rebels against The USA.

It may not seem like it but they have done the right thing by going back to the beginning. They may not realise it yet but they have found some important clues, clue number one the journal entry about meeting a man in the park. Now they need to dig deeper to find more clues, hopefully, this will give them the information that they need. Clues do lead somewhere, right? Going to The Ritz may provide more background information and as any dedicated thriller/mystery reader knows, background information is always helpful in throwing up more clues. 🤞

I'm a citizen of Texas, therefore I only recognize the authority of Texas law! I'm brave! Around midnight, my brother found a spider in the kitchen, and I bravely went to assist him in killing it! I have never nuked any animals. Or people. One thing I do notice is that there is no end to the Drewth

Jase's flashbacks serve several good uses. They help us to understand what Jase has gone through and is going through. They allow Jase to remember what he has and hasn't learned along the way, the instances where he didn't learn at the time may be events that he could still learn from. Anything that Jase can take anything positive from could prove useful and vital. If he shares these past events with Lucas it is possible that Lucas can help him to focus. Positivity is key here and focus must be maintained.

the list of your crimes is as long, if not longer, than the one of your herd members I think that the ICJ (International Court of Justice) and the ICC (International Criminal Court) may take an interest if we approach the right judge. 🤔

I'm not sure of Swift's role in this plot or his stance on Macy, for me the jury is still out on him. What I feel confident in saying is that whoever took Macy has powers that are at least equal to Jase's, whoever they are they manipulated Macy into letting him take her. I don't think it's a single person that has Macy, I'm sure that there is more than one and that there is more than one of the group who has powers, those powers may be what is stopping Jase from being able to sense her. @drpaladin has a good point, going back to the start could be a wise move, hopefully allowing for missed clues to be found. There are a lot of good theories being voiced and I discount none of them.

Let's just get one thing straight first, CALVIN IS AN ASSHOLE. I'd say it's a bad idea to bring Calvin back into the story but it figures that this is and would be a natural progression. That being said it still doesn't make me feel good about him showing up. He is there for his own reasons and none of them are going to be good, it is a given that this will have a detrimental effect on Bryan and Caleb although it is likely to be different for each of the boys. Caleb doesn't know Calvin and probably has an idealised version of him in his mind. This is dangerous as it will lead to heartache and more emotional problems when Caleb is faced with the truth about his natural father. Diego and Steve need to keep an eye on him but also need to be careful not to smother him or put undue pressure on Caleb as it will have a negative effect, making matters worse. Bryan, on the other hand, has had it differently, he has memories of his natural father albeit none of them good, and he knows the disappointment that Calvin causes as he has already suffered the trauma that Calvin causes, and is still experiencing after-effects of it. As Diego has full adoption he should be able to use the legal system to fight Calvin and keep him away, I've got my fingers crossed that are no legal loopholes that Calvin can use.

I guess, that wherever Macy is or has gone, she has gone willingly. It makes sense, if she was forced that would mean someone breaking in. As there was no noise or damage there was no forced entry. She may have been influenced, but if she has who has influenced her? It is possible that Martinez's car has a tracker fitted and that is how they have been found. It is also possible that they have been tracked by someone with the same abilities as Jase, but if so, who? Jase and Lucas have let their guard down and that has created an opening that someone has taken advantage of. It is not clear who is good and who is bad so the guys should trust no one. It is disturbing that Jase cannot sense Macy, I'm hoping that is because his ability to reach out and sense her is being blocked. The other reason is too scary to think about.
