Looks like I'm getting this post in this time before @Valkyrie has to remind me that it's Friday...
Week 27 out of 52 of my monochrome photography challenge.
Another macro shot, but this time I won't say what it is until I've given you all a chance to guess.
I doubt it, bro.
Although I have to admit that, although the pubs reopened here in Ireland last week, I haven't entered one yet. Nor am I in a rush to do so.
I was just glad to find out that the original call you received wasn't to prepare you for far more serious news than what it eventually turned out to be.
Fuller story here, @Bucket1....

Basically it's a VAT (Value Added Tax) issue. Subway claimed they were being taxed higher than other sandwich providers. Turns out the sugar content in their rolls is higher than what can be legally called bread over here.
Reminds me of the "Are Jaffa Cakes really biscuits?" case in the UK from years ago. But in that case the manufacturers of Jaffa Cakes won their legal challenge.

You might.
But if you want one of them actually installed you may have to wait a while. I could have shared the photo from the online advert showing them for sale, but the seller has taken it down already.
Your weather sounds similar to what we're having here today.
Mind you, it's coming up to 11:00am here,so I'm no longer snuggled up in bed.
I bought a pair of second-hand iron gates for the entry into my drive yesterday. Each 5 foot wide by 4 tall. A friend of mine is heading my way with a trailer as I am typing this, and we'll drive the 40-odd miles to pick them up. I'd hoped to get them into the back of my hatchback, but they were just a bit too big.
I was going to complain about you Americans going against tradition by not having your National Coffee Day on the same day as the international one...
But then I found out that there is a National Irish Coffee Day.
25th January.
Irish Coffee isn't normal coffee. It has a shot of Irish Whiskey added, and cream floated on top. If it's made in a glass, it almost looks like a Guinness.
Beautiful!
Thanks, Abert.
It's definitely going on my bucket list.
(And I recognise quite a few locations from those photographs you shared with me last year.)
