We had really heavy rain here late last evening as well, but missed out on thunder and lightening...
I wasn't too upset, as the soil was getting fairly dry, and I had planted leek seeding out in the garden a few hours earlier.

We were supposed to be reopening indoor dining here from next Monday. Because of worries about the Delta variant, that has been postponed for a minimum of two weeks.
Thanks for the vote of confidence, Gary. As to me being an incredible photographer ... I wouldn't go so far as to say that myself, but it's certainty good for my confidence to hear someone express it that way.
I am sure that, as some of you are experiencing extremes of weather just at the moment, my last comment about the lovely weather here in Ireland at the moment may leave you almost wishing you were here.

Been a really pleasant day here. Overcast in the morning, but a nice and sunny afternoon. Temperature got up to 21°C/70°F. Promised to stay the same for the next few days, at least.
