Are you insinuating Marty needs a macro lens to see his own body parts? Don't be a size queen But I do need a mirror to see some parts. (When I taught second level I was lying when I used to tell the kids I had eyes in the back of my head.) And, anyway, a macro lens can take some very interesting photographs of many body parts. Such as wrinkles, hair follicles, the papillae on the surface of the tongue, the details of the iris of the eye... the list could just go on and on.

Not the whole UK, just the sea, so even closer It's possible to get a ferry direct from the northwest of France to Ireland It's Great Britain (not the United Kingdom) that is between much of France and Ireland. (Some of the ferry routes between Ireland, France, Great Britain and Spain)

So I treated myself to a macro lens for my Trusty Nikon a few months ago. This enables me to take close-up photographs. Here's a photo of a leaf bud of a beech tree that I took with it near the beginning of April...

I have a brother-in-law (actually a brother-out-law) who always used to spend a few months of our winter somewhere south of the equator. More often than not he chose Australia. Maybe you should consider doing the opposite...
