I did, thanks, Gary. Bit busy, at the moment. Actually heading to England tomorrow for two weeks. Basically the first week house sitting and dog walking for my baby sister. Second week helpling to plan a (hopefully) surprise joint birthday for another sister and her daughter (one of my many nieces), who will be seventy and fifty respectively around the beginning of December. Once I stop running round in circles, I'll try and remember to go back and leave a few comments, and maybe even a review on the story.

Hi, clo I met a friend for breakfast today. Had a "Full Irish" breakfast. With several thick slices of toasted wholemeal bread and a few slices of soda bread. That was twelve hours ago, and I'm still not hungry again...

So the week started off with nice dry (if somewhat cold) weather, enabling me to get some outside work done in the garden. But the rain returned late on Wednesday, and the week is ending with dull, grey days again, and it's been inside work for the past couple of days. Here's a photo I took this afternoon that shows just how dull the weather is at the present: The good news is that the central heating in the new, old house is now working!

Have to say that I am enjoying how this story is developing. I'm now left wondering just how Simon's dad is going to react to the news. Will he bring Simon's mum to court? I don't think he would win if he did. Will he stop paying for Simon's phone? I'd almost suggest Simon get a new number if he did; and then not give his new number to his dad. And then, of course, there was Freddie's "I know Jeff will be happy if you join us" comment on the bus ride home. Is it possible Jeff has told Freddie that he finds Simon attractive? Could Jeff look at Simon the same way that Simon obviously looks at Jeff...? Enough speculation! No, I'm not asking for spoilers sweetie. I'll find out in due time. Looking forward to the next chapter(s).
