Now, do you really think I could be as evil as to leave you with a cliffhanger, @dughlas? But I've gone back and checked, and that was where the chapter was supposed to end. Looks like you'll just have to wait until the next chapter gets posted to see what the next paragraph or two are... I'm not sure if Lowry was actually trying to come out of a closet, as such. But I suppose that depends on how one uses that particular phrase... And many thanks for the comment. It makes me feel good when people take the time to respond. Basically makes all the time and effort feel worthwhile.

I don't class myself as a professional gay. I'm only a practicing homosexual. But hopefully practice really does make perfect. And as for it being your profession, does that mean you get paid for it? My understanding is that professionals do things for the money, whereas amateurs just do it because they love doing it.
