Wow! It seems so trite to say this, but I really didn't see that coming!
Another great chapter, Jason. It just keeps getting better with every chapter.
It's seldom I actually read a story before the final chapter has been published. I started reading this one by accident; mistakenly thinking it was completed. I think it was after binge reading the first four chapters that I spotted that it was still in progress. But by that time I was so hooked that I couldn't stop.
I'm guessing that he was going to complete it with "... let you go."
And I'm maybe second-guessing now by wondering if Nate really does want Greg to let him go....
Temperature got up to around 15 degrees today (yesterday, as it is now past midnight).
That's Centigrade (or Celsius) - about 59 Fahrenheit, for those of you that still use that old fashioned system).
All good here. Did a 250+ mile round car drive to Dublin today for board meeting of a charity I'm involved with. This evening I dropped off my Nikon D600 camera at a friend's house so her son can use it for some video work he wants to do tomorrow. Came home, did a bit of photo editing, then chillaxed for the rest of the night. Midnight now, so off to bed soon. Must try to write some words tomorrow - have a short story about 2 thirds finished. Hope to complete it for the weekend....
D&D sounds fun. Not played that in over 30 years. There was a time when I was teaching second level that I used to bring some of my students to an old castle in Cheshire (England) to play real life D&D.
So what was too hot? The jacket potato?
