Coming up to 7:30pm here... Another Zoom session likely to last 2 hours coming up at 8:00pm... At least for this one I am only expected to be an observer. So I might get out of it alive.
-
Fingers, and everything else, crossed for you, Val.
-
Sorry to hear that, Val.
-
Hi, Val!!!
-
And you, Gary!
-
Flashes? Or Flushes?
-
Greetings, Albert!

Well, rubber/s can be used as protection as well, can't it/they?
-
Is that similar to what dogs do to lampposts?
-
Oh, I'm sure we'll stand behind you. Just as long as you don't expect us to stand in front of you.
-
I thought you were well able to do your own defending, Val. With that big shiny spear you seem to carry everywhere with you...
-
Not sure... But I'd say @Valkyrie will be leaving an Angry reaction response. (Almost a shame those don't trigger neutral responses any more)

You trying to tell us something there, oh wild one?

Ireland records highest Covid-19 infection rate in the world over past seven days https://www.independent.ie/news/ireland-records-highest-covid-19-infection-rate-in-the-world-over-past-seven-days-39954862.html Extract: Ireland has had 10,100 confirmed cases per million people in the last seven days, according to the latest data released by Bloomberg and collated by Johns Hopkins, the WHO and other organisations. This rate makes Ireland the most Covid-infected nation in the world in the past week. Not the sort of news I really want to be sharing with you all...

Well, the session's finally over. And I think I survived...
-
Well, at least the local snake catchers didn't find out it was only a potato...
-
Greetings, Albert!

It's currently raining here. It's not all that heavy, but definitely enough to put a temporary stop to my clearing of the vines and ivy on the garden sheds. Hopefully it will clear away as the day progresses but, in the meantime, it looks like I shall have to find some indoor work to occupy me. There's lots of that waiting to be done, anyway! Actually, before I do any of that, I may just take the car for a spin first. I've not used it for three or four days now, and I don't like leaving it standing idle for so long. Particularly in the winter. Hopefully it does actually start...
-
Have you found it? Yes, thanks! It only involved clicking through about four different online links that mentioned the meeting would be held over Zoom before I found the one that actually had the Zoom link. Hopefully all the two dozen or so people that have expressed (on Facebook) an interest in attending will find the link as well. I've just emailed the link to myself, anyway. Which means the organiser(s) will also likely email me the link later on today (probably 10 minutes before the meeting is due to start).

I can't count how many times I have been frantically searching at the last minute for various Zoom links. Which reminds me... where's that link for the local Pride AGM I am supposed to be attending on Zoom this evening...?

At least 8 hours sleep now, ya hear!
-
Hope all goes well. Just remember to put on your trousers, bro.

Greetings, Mr B!

What the saying.... Oh yes! Or something like that.

But wasn't that because he thought a chair was better than a ladder?
