Write what ya know, eh? For the rest, research and learn to ask the right questions. 😏 Thanks for reading and commenting!

Uh oh. tim, if you have a worm you realize you need at least a donut a day in extra calories to feed it. I don’t make the rules, I’m just saying. Tell your Men. 😝 Thanks for the comments and for reading! Yes, ChatGPT helped a lot with the tech-heavy stuff. I do like how that scene came out thanks to its use. I did feel guilty, though. Shouldn’t I have to suffer to write? No? Oh. All right, then. Yay! Onward! 💚

I know! Ugh. To be fair, I have consumed a "happy fun time" gummie and a few adult beverages. So. My resistance to "but the chapter is ready. It's great. Don't you want to share it?" was significantly less than it otherwise would have been. And here we are. LOL Thanks for the read and comment, kbois!

Catalyst It wasn’t long before the changes became impossible to ignore. “Good morning, Dr. Thayer.” Jake, Thayer’s research assistant, greeted him as he entered the lab. Thayer smiled at the young man. “Good morning, Jake.” In the past, he had only just tolerated the fellow. Intelligent, yes—but impatient. Jake rushed procedures that demanded care. But lately, Thayer had begun to see him in a different light. He’s just excited. Dedicated. He wants to learn. That was admi
  5. This was super sweet. Nice job. 🙂
  6. Really sweet, descriptive, evocative. It made me smile. Thank you for this glimpse. 🙂
  7. tim suggested I link my newest story here. Thank you for that, friend. I am very proud of this one. It will be short (five chapters), but I truly enjoyed the journey and the destination. I hope my friends here give it a try.
  8. Lol. Yes, that would be. You’ve got to remember, these guys are disciplined too. They won’t be railing each other in hallways and on tables in the messhall. They WILL pair and triple up for some more private fun, though. 😏

Thank you for sharing, friend. And you are deserving of peace without annihilation. you deserve to look at beauty and not suffer for it. you deserve good without a catch or a price to pay.
  10. It’s good to see you, molly. Glad you’re here. 💚
  11. Dave! Would I do that to you?! *stifles evil laugh*
  12. Thank you! It feels great to be back. This one … this one is hard for me to pace. I want to post it all in a blaze of glory, but I’m making myself wait. That means the chapters will be well polished as they’re posted. So I guess we’ve got that going for us. 😝 There’s more to come. 😀 See you next time!
  13. Thanks for reading and commenting! Stay intrigued. A lot happens in the next chapter, but still leaves a lot to learn too. ”Curing Humanity” is an awfully big goal, it’s true. Let’s see how close we get, eh? 😏
  14. Thank you for reading and commenting, Mike. Though it's not long, I'm genuinely proud of this one, from beginning to end. I hope you enjoy the tale.
  15. Well ... I mean ... I am an unrepentant erotica writer. So you just MIGHT be in the right place. Thanks for the read and for the comment! Stick around. There's more horniness in our future. 😈
  16. Pot, this is kettle!
  17. Thanks, Chris! I loved writing this one. If people reading like it half as much as I did writing it, then it'll have been worth it. :D
  18. I described this one to you as "a splinter in my mind." And it was. It. Would. Not. STOP. In the shower, I'm building scenes, silently mouthing dialogue I've yet to write. Driving, I'm correcting absent plot points, mentally noting and even voice recording things so I don't forget. Working, I'm distracted because all I want to do is WRITE. It feels so good to be this way again. It has been so fucking long, and I'm owed. This world has sucked the joy out of me long enough, and now? Now, screw it. I'm back at it, and I'm not going to stop again. Also. It lets me torture readers. So. You know. Bonus. ... maybe you have a point.
  19. Huh. Isn't that odd? And here you are ... taking note of some interesting things.
  20. I'm glad you're interested! And yes, yes-I think the idea of a WORM growing in our bodies, taking up residence, and then doing ... something? is fairly unpleasant to most of us. That's where the "body horror" aspect comes in. Unpleasant to think about, that's for sure. I want the reader to sorta shiver when they imagine it. LOL Atticus and John are strong characters. They're what I excel at as a writer, and I'm leaning into my ability to write compelling protagonists. I know that. Other things I struggle with, but these guys? No. This is where I shine, and I'm gonna ride that as hard as I can. You know. Like John. On Atticus. :p See you next time, Jeffrey!
  21. The EDF is pretty damn paranoid. You'll see that soon. What do you mean by "the status of those infected"? Like, physiologically? Or what happened to those taken by the EDF? Because it sounds like John is about to reveal that ...
  22. Thanks for reading, commenting, and for the thoughts! Keep in mind, you, the reader, are getting multiple perspectives. The frontline EDF personnel are getting what the EDF tells them. They know only what they're told, so the worm is a mind-controlling monster who makes their sufferers snuggly sex zombies who seek only to subvert the will of the healthy people around them. The EDF will protect them. The EDF will protect YOU.
  23. Thanks! This one sorta came from a game I play called Pandemic. In a way. It's heavily modified, but the inspiration was there, along with a bunch of other sci-fi things floating around out there. I'm glad I listened to the voice. Because, here we are! Thanks for reading and commenting!
  24. I'm glad! This one burned awfully bright through me. Like, just ... BOOM. It was terribly fast, but man it feels good to have it out there now. Seriously, I'd never even thought of writing something like this, but a combination of a game I played (Pandemic on the PC) and other ideas floating around in sci-fi inspired it. One of those, "huh ... what if ..." moments in the shower that just exploded. Enjoy the ride. It gets bumpy, but I think it's worth the trip. Thanks for the read and for the comment!
  25. You know, there's a comfort in uncertainty. There's a certain level of responsibility we can ignore if we just don't know. Once that's gone, well. What then? What are you going to do then? That's when you have to make choices and decide what's important. That's when character gets tested. And that's going to happen. In spades. You're right about the lack of touch and interaction. It rots people. When I was in boot camp, nobody touched me for weeks. None. Nothing. Then at week five, we had this fitting done for new uniforms, because we'd lost so much weight. And they had an honest to god tailor in our barracks taking measurements. He KNEW what kind of state we were in. There was nothing sexual or sensual about it, but the guys (and me) all just closed our eyes while he touched us. I had no idea I needed it that bad. We all talked about it after. "Dude, I would have gone gay if it meant I could be touched a little longer." Literally, what someone said and he got no shit for it. Not from 80 guys. Just chagrined expressions and nodding. Really. So ... it's a real thing.
