I really enjoyed this story, Thorn. Thanks for pointing me at it. Nicely done.

Messed with that first stanza. I like it better now. It... flows better.

I think it was about four days. Yeah, posting as I write is never gonna happen again... I've learned that lesson already. 😛

Thanks, tim. It's just hard to make the craziness in my brain match what I'm able to write. I appreciate your thoughts.

Thanks, Brayon! That scene was definitely hard to write. Still not totally happy with it, but I'm glad it appealed as much as it did.

Thanks, rick! We're almost to that full moon. Daniel's wolf is uncontrolled, and wild, so he is very affected by the moon, even when it's not full. Jed has a bit more control over his beast, thanks to the silver and willpower. More to come!

Thanks for reading and commenting, Parker. There's a lot happening. You should see my outline; it's quite the busy document. I hope you stay intrigued! The only way to find out is to read the next chapter (when I write it).

Thanks for writing, Jeffrey! I'm glad you liked the chapter. More, I'm glad you liked that scene. 😈 Joan and Ursula... more is absolutely on the way for them. Who knew an old lady in a coffee shop would show up later, eh?

Ursula is the bogeyman of werewolves. It could have gone far FAR worse for both Jed and his father if it were anyone other than her. Who is Joan? Ursula's her mother?!? How can she tame Daniel so well? Questions abound! Thanks for the nice comments concerning that scene. I think it turned out all right. I sincerely wish I could write how I see and feel it happening. With the beast using Wolfgang's gift to echo itself in all of the men, inhabiting them, then Wolfgang tying all of their senses into one another's. It's tough for me to get it across what is happening, and how intense it is. All I can do is try. Thanks for reading and commenting, Chris!

It does seem like Daniel ran into a packleader, or rather, a packleader tracked him down, thanks to Ursula's help. We'll see how that goes for him. Shawn is going to have to reevaluate his sexuality after meeting Mister Franklin. Regardless, they all had a grand time. Thanks for commenting, Thorn!

Monday, April 15 (¾ waxing moon) Ursula spent the next two days waiting and preparing. Finally, her contact was in town, and they planned to meet. It was a breezy, sunny morning, and Ursula chose the community forest for the meeting. She sat under the protective shade of the redwoods on an old wooden bench and patiently waited. The tops of the redwoods swayed far above her. The smell of earth, loam, and wetness lay over everything, and the sound of the wind through the trees made her smi

I have too many projects! But, for this spot of craziness, I'd jump in with both feet. 😁

Great chapter, tim. I love how Keter reassured the pony at the end. 😊 We’re slowly learning more about this world. I like it.

Errr... wow! Thanks, @Defiance19. I'm happy you you enjoyed the story. That one (Fleeting Eternity) in particular means a lot to me. I think because it was so hard to write! Yeah, it was just so emotional. But, it was worth the pain of the telling. Silverwolf... that's a different beast entirely. *chuckle* See what I did there? "Beast?" Eh? @Mikiesboy, I still blame you for Silverwolf. 😛 But, on a serious note - it's fantastic sharing our ideas, scenes, and thoughts about our work. Thank you for your nice comments, my friend. @rickproehl, thank you! I try hard to be a good person. Sometimes I get further along on that than other times, but all I can do is try. It has been great to see you grow, become you, and find comfort in your skin. Thanks for your encouragement.

Thank you so much for the awesome comments. I really wanted everything and everyone to feel connected. It’s obvious the parts Nate and Chris played, but Stanley and Kent both also had their roles to fill too. Markus’s life was saved by Tad’s book, but it took almost every person in the story to get it into his hands. And I love to imagine there were many others like Markus who were saved by the book. A writer can dream. Thank you for sticking it out and reading it all. I know it was a rollercoaster.

Yeah... this is a story where I telegraphed early what was coming. Frankly, because it needed to be known early on. I think the reader needed to know what was coming, so they can decide if they're gonna stick it out or not. I wanted it to hurt (I think Tad deserved that) but also, I wanted it to mean something. Thanks, @Defiance19.

Okay, my staffing issues are put into perspective by the hurricane headed toward Florida. Stay safe down there.

Well done, rick. Live your life. Own who you are. Anyone who can't handle the truth can't handle you. Let those people fall away, and it will make room for those who are ready to accept you for who you are.
