@BoyLove would it be better if I said the concluding chapter instead of final chapter? . This story got more chapters than I originally thought it would. It's always my belief that it's better to end a story before the chapters get stale. Like Chris, you've also been an amazing supporter and voice of encouragement.

Thanks, @chris191070. It's sken three months of starts and stops to get a beginning that felt right. Then once that happened, everything seemed to flow like a stream. Hopefully, I'll have the final chapter written and posted within the next week or two. I love how supportive you always are.

The Christmas party at the community center was a huge success. Joey was ecstatic when he got asked to fill in as Santa for the kids because the original Santa, Thomas Wilkinson, the city's ME, had to leave unexpectedly. As Christmas Eve and the wedding got closer, it was all hands on deck for the family. There were still some decorations to put up, clothing needed to be tailored for that perfect fit, and no one forgot about all the food that needed to be prepared for the festivities. One l

@chris191070 This story is total GENIUS!!! I love the characters and my Dad had an old fashioned typewriter that he taught me to type on. Even after getting a computer, he used his same old typewriter to type up all the contracts for the gigs he played.

Asa's analogies are awesome. The image of Santos and Giles reaching for their phones was slightly comical for some reason. Maybe cause I could see them moving seamlessly in sync. Gotta love tech, weather forecast in an instant.
