Bullets and mobsters and witness protection, oh my. Holy Shit! This is exciting. @Daddydavekyou masterfully weave an edge-of-your-seat mysterious tale. Dean's emotions are so real it makes you feel as if you're living his experience.

Wow! @DaddydavekI LOVED this first chapter. Your descriptive powers are great, i could feel Dean's and his Mom's distress over the initial action. Sean is a great character, at least from his introduction. I'm looking forward to the next chapters.

I thought it'd be fun to put a little story within a story. I was gonna write more but found that was a good place to end the chapter. I'm working up a nice surprise for the next, and what's probably gonna be the final chapter.

Thanks guys. I was really happy with the way this chapter turned out. Mikey wanted to let his natural protective nature and badassery to shine through. The story is coming to a close, and yes, there will be an explanation of why Mikey didn't have his usual reaction to being tickled. Hehe -

That was one of my fav parts. I'm always finding ways to throw in an emotional, serious, and loving proposal into my stories, but this time I had the inspiration to make it a bit comical, since it fit in with the character's personality.
