[Shadowgod] Happy Birthday Shadowgod!
Tracy replied to Phantom's topic in Promoted Author Discussion Forum
Happy Birthday Steve!!! I wish you all the best! -
Kevin, my brother is 3 years old so I tell him 'I love you' as often as I can. He's a kid, so there are never any awkward moments when those words are being said I think men in general have trouble saying 'I love you' because they would be exposing their vulnerability, and in my opinion, that's something guys(like me) find extremely hard to do, especially when done in the presence of another male. I think some guys believe that these words need not be spoken since they show their love in other ways. Actions, after all, speak louder than words. Just my opinion tracy

I have no problems telling my mom, brother, sister and a few of my closest friends 'I love you' when the situation calls for it, but my dad is a completely different story though. And I won't even bother going into detail about that. It's a guy thing, I guess. You can never say 'I love you' enough. It's more than just words being muttered, it's also an expression of your heart. But, words alone are not enough to convey your feelings, so I think there should be a balance between saying 'I love you' and showing it. tracy

[Viv] Viv - Underneath This Big Ol' Sky - Part 5
Tracy replied to C James's topic in Promoted Author Discussion Forum
Viv - I really love this story. Teeming with extravagantly vivid characters. The depth, insight and sheer storytelling make this story such an absorbing and engaging read. Can't wait for the next chapter. tracy -
Graeme - In my opinion, another masterpiece! It's a reminder that even though we might be caught in a hopeless situation, there will always be something or somebody that will evoke a light at the end of the tunnel. Which is why my favorite character in the story is Mrs. Kowalski. She was the candle in Craig's life - the fragile but gripping source of luminosity that enlightens the way through a complex and difficult journey. Awesomeness. tracy

Hi, Kevin. I almost always have a craving for chocolate cake and anything else that's chocolatey. I'm not entirely sure what these "cravings" are, though. One could say that these things are all in our head, but that issue is still completely debatable. Some believe that we crave food we physically need. Hormonal changes are also connected to cravings, most commonly found in pregnant women. But since you're not pregnant, then that leaves the former. Just a theory though, I'm not a nutritionist or whatever

Congrats Steve!! I'm sooo proud of you! -
I don't know if it's just me, but have you ever noticed how a majority of the gay population in the Philippines seem to be flamboyant? I've never had the pleasure of meeting a 'masculine' type But I have a feeling my non-existant gaydar is to blame for that I agree. I don't think that gay men differ from straight men when it comes to facial structure. Instead, I think that certain facial expressions are deep-rooted to the musculature of our face. Gay men tend to employ the facial expressions of women, which could possibly be one reason why we think that there's a difference in facial structure. Aww. Well, I'm glad that what you went through has made you a stronger person today tracy

Personally, I don't care what other people think or say. I don't live to please them, nor am I required to. What matters to me is that I've made the most of what I had, learned from my mistakes, and had fun doing it. Agreed. In my opinion, the things we do is a reflection of who we are as individuals. I believe that our actions speak more clearly than our sexuality in terms of defining character. All being gay means to me is that I'll eventually hook up with a dude instead of a dudette. Nothing more, nothing less. tracy

its about time i caught up with the story. steeeeven! this just keeps getting better and better yep. that was a shocker alright. im not liking this brendan character too much right now. sounds like he's gonna be trouble in the long run. its already complicated enough with valerie in it, but eh, we'll see i dont know where you get your sense of humor steve, but im not gonna complain cant wait for the next chapter! tracy -
for the past couple of years, i've been coming to GA on and off, but only recently have i decided to join the forums. for a shy, quiet boy like myself, who's never had anyone to talk to about his sexuality, GA was a savior. it opened up a whole new world, a place where i felt comfortable enough to just sit back and relax, and not have to worry about being ostracized. the stories here at GA not only made me laugh and cry, it also gave me the courage i needed to tell my friends "I'm gay". i gained the confidence to say those words withough tripping over my tongue, without blushing, and without looking at my feet. GA was a constant companion i had throughout my denial phase, and it sure as hell means a lot to me. im sure that during the following years to come, GA will be like a knight in shining armor for teenagers who are in need of help. so, im running out of english. to sum this up, i would like to say a big thank you to Myr, Joe, Kitty, and to the other moderators for all their hard work here at GA. you guys are the best!

[Shadowgod] Living in Surreality

like i said, its a really cute chapter, steve! i loved the interaction between the 4 of them, and im glad both moms took the news well haha. i loved that part made me feel embarassed for Matt and Jacob. oh, and before i forget, you just had to let the boys get interrupted again? now that is evil atleast he didnt say oprah . but yeah, i think Jacob needs to update his list of favorite television programs. i mean, there are tons of other shows that are better than a talking sponge great job steve! i've already started the two-week countdown, so write write write! -
[Shadowgod] Living in Surreality
Tracy replied to shadowgod's topic in Promoted Author Discussion Forum
no new chapter for two weeks? maaaaan. well, it better be good then though, knowing you, im sure it will. and as for the bisexual undercurrent, it makes the story that much more interesting. just make sure that its actually Matt and Jacob in the end, and not Val and Jacob I dont think they're in that much hot water. i mean, from what i've read, both Joanne and Viola are great parents, and as far as i can tell, only Richard has a problem with homosexuality. I do think that Viola will need time to adjust to this new revelation about her son, but eh, just my opinion as always though im sure steve would come up with something we would never expect. he's that talente... i mean, evil. good luck with your anthology though! -
Congratulations!! best wishes to the two of you!

[Shadowgod] Living in Surreality
Tracy replied to shadowgod's topic in Promoted Author Discussion Forum
neither. it was just plain evil i mean.. come on! who woulda thought?! i bet you're really enjoying our shocked reactions and you'd better not get used to the idea of these "surprises" cuz my heart cant take it anymore! I dont think Jacob was intentionally trying to hurt Matt. That's my opinion anyway. You can see from the previous chapters that he cares a great deal for Matt. I'm just glad Val was able to put a stop to it, cuz i know that men will never be able to think properly once all the blood goes to the other head. Obviously, that kiss was only meant to divert Val's attention, only it didnt end up the way it was supposed to. Jacob was hurt, and maybe he just needed or wanted to know what it was like to feel 'cared for' again, and from the way Val kissed him back, it 'satisfied' his hunger temporarily. if that didnt make sense, blame steve! this chapter made me think too much, and it turned my brain into mush  im excitedly awaiting the next chapter, steve
