    Chapter 16

I think Victor finally fucked around and found out. I noticed something while re-reading earlier. During the disciplinary hearing, a lot was made of the cyberbullying, and a remark was made to report it to the school and work to combat it. Why didn't Victor have a hearing like Jonah did? Cyberbullying is just as much a reflection of your character as underage drinking.

    Chapter 14

Jonah told Victor to "fuck around and find out". He's definitely fucked around. What will he find out? Or is Jonah all talk? I still think everybody needs to pee in Victor's gas tank. The best defense is a good offense (or something like that)... -It all started when he hit me back . --Billy Martin

    Chapter 12

piss in his gas tank. One person won't do much, but several would. Also hard to prove.
  4. This may be somewhat tame overall, but we're not going to let Eve go unpunished, are we? It all started when he hit me back. --Billy Martin
  5. I'm wondering about Nick's clumsiness, for want of a better term. At first I thought maybe it was neurological, brought on by their physical abuse, but now I think maybe it was just the stress of living with parents who inspired hurt and fear, rather than love and compassion. Also, is there some underlying cause for Steven's stutter, such as a parent-inflicted injury? It all started when he hit me back. -Billy Martin
  6. CPS will generally at least split the cost of housing. They usually have criteria whereas the caregiver gets a stipend.
  7. I was wondering if you gave any thought to Steven's stuttering. I thought it could be related to the head trauma inflicted by his father. No mention was made of whether he was verbal when Brendan last saw him. www.flintrehab.com has some information on different types to stuttering after head injuries. Food for thought.
  8. In a nutshell, the verbal abusing of another individual to their detriment is called slander. Written words designed to harm is libel. Wilmer is too stupid to even get that right.
  9. Great start! I really want to see where you go with this.

    A Proper Sendoff

Even without national news, just keep an eye on the Indiana papers online.

    A Proper Sendoff

If we assume the body has been found, it shouldn't be all that difficult for Larry & Greg to ascertain where Adam's from. A grizzly murder would likely make national news, and then it's just a matter of process of elimination.
  12. I can honestly say I don't know what I would do in this situation. He should call Greyson immediately and get this out in the open.
  13. Too much effort to find the link you mentioned, so I'll just post here...please consider giving us one more book. Thanks.

    Chapter 29

PLEASE stop with the italics and capital letters. It doesn't add anything to the story. It doesn't convey extra meaning. It doesn't generate more emotion. It is, quite frankly, extremely annoying. Now, on a happier note, this story is flat out cringe-worthy. I do realize that, unfortunately, this is a way of life for some people, but why advertise it? It's not like we don't know it happens. It's not going to make it disappear and never return. It's not a story people want to keep coming back to, in my opinion. Especially if it takes you six months to update it. You are a FANTASTIC story teller. I'm a faithful follower of yours. This one, however, I'm done with.
