Another fine chapter of family bonding. I am glad to see Rob and his wife moving to DC. Buy the alley and create a compound for the whole family. Thanks for the President's Day gift. The warm fuzzies I get from it keeps the winter chill away.😘

The odds are there are older civilizations far more advance than humans. The same goes for long dead civilizations, which may have been highly technical and scientifically advanced. We as earthlings have to get over our self-centeredness. The universe is old and in continuous renewal as the recent report of observing a blackhole throwing off new stars. And a 'hear! hear!' to Imogene_arant, as always Bouncer for President.

Regarding Julia Child's work for the war effort OSS. In that era women were not so involved mostly clerical but she did meet her future husband there, Paul Child. After the war Paul Child supervised cultural displays and showings while Julia learned to eat and cook French food.

Carlos I love your mini tours of our southern neighbor. I have friends who visit Mexico regularly but their conversations leave out too much touristy descriptions. I do get to hear about the many artists whom they visit. The nor'easter of Clancy 59 is in Chicago now. Shoveled out the car yesterday and it is buried again today. Keep up the southern scenes, it is warmth to dream about; beaches, rugby in the park, and ice cream with an evening walk. Looking forward to more Carlos . Thanks for writing.

Yeah! Bouncer for president! Maybe Bouncer should be on this 'welcoming' panel. He has much better instincts about all sorts of beings. The Aelqaed may have read Bouncer's mind and knows he would be only a tasty morsel for Bouncer back on Ardra. Essell's mother is a shade too retiring and passive. Scientists need to speak out about their fields. Politicians are not qualified on every bit of science considered in their deliberations.

Love a good dinner with interesting conversation. Politics can cause a rise in many people and sometimes the dinner gets lost in the conversation. Still nice people and a nice menu. Thanks for the chapter.

Northman is a typical bureaucrat; qualified to do the job but just a cog and paper pusher. All governments throughout time suffer from 'stagnantcrats'. CJ as usual mixes things up just by living his life and being his own man. I do look forward to Fridays. Thanks Carlos.😃

The holidays have so full. I just finished this chapter. To understand it all at the mid point I needed to return to chapter 32 and follow Connor and crew through the tunnels and sewers of Rolling Dale and digest Afterdusk and the other three ancients. Now I will reread from the start of the chapter and maybe even the whole. What fun! Thank you Kyle, I look forward to another chapter. Great Story!!!

Essell has alway been precocious, but he certainly proved himself over and over with Garjah and the Kardoval. So bravo to Essell. As far as the Rinta situation, the attempted assault on Essell would certainly put a dent in any person's career. The silence will become deafening. Good reading another chapter. Thanks Cia.

A great follow up to 'Operation Hammerhead', which is an extremely good military space war novel. The tech fiction is so understandable without questioning and probing the physics.I look forward to more. James Savik is a good read writer.

Oh, to be in England now that April is here. A masterful joining of the lugger and the fleet. George's courtliness has certain developed over the Russian winter. Good to have back afloat. Thanks for a great goodbye to St. Petersburg.
