    Chapter 11

Well that just totally sucks. Right now I really could care less about Matt. Good god I hope he doesn't try to get back with Mike and Mike has the self-respect to kindly tell Matt to take a flying-(expletive deleted). Move onward and upward Mike!

    Story

One wonders if many of our years later Cairo looked back on this little blue dot and remembered Riley. I'd like to think so.

    Chapter 21

My bucket list is a mile long. Been to Scotland but would love to go back. Then there are these: China, Cambodia, Thailand, India, New Zealand, South Africa, omit everything else in Africa since it's not a safe place for us LBGTQ people. Onward: Egypt (ok an African exception), ALL of Europe although been there multiple times I love it, Russia, Samoa. The list goes on. I tend not to like organized tours since I'm not a shopper. I prefer to travel with experts in art, architecture, archeology so I actually learn something and NOT with 4,000 other people aka cruise ships. If I speak the language, I"m ok in English of course, French, Spanish and German, I prefer travelling alone and at my own pace which is frequently 3-4 weeks. I particularly like the tours of the Smithsonian and other such institutions.
  4. Holy Brother of God, how the hell is this going to work out? Guess we'll just have to wait until Mme. Author pulls the rabbit out of her hat. Usually I can build a possible scenario or 4 for the future of the story but right now, I have nothing!
  5. Read this last chapter to a beautiful story and smiled. But then I asked "ok but what about Harlan?" That hard-ass dude needs some happiness too, he needs a man's arms around him to help him find that softness in his heart. So then I started to read all the comments and when I spotted the potential sequel coming and that it it includes Harlan I had to smile. Looking for the next "Camp Refuge 3?" story!

    Chapter 21

You my man have written a very good and powerful mystery/suspense story. I would read and try to build scenarios of coming chapters only to be knocked about, rebuild the scenario with new information and once again discover I had no idea where it was going, who was who, what side they were on or what would happen next. Excellent plot building! Also being a 'foodie" I was enjoying the descriptions feeling as if I should have a bottle of Cabernet within reach. One question lingers and that is the backstory of Paul and his 'secret'. We only were given a bit of it by Chad but evidently there was some painful memories for Paul never explained. I won't encourage you to continue in the mystery/suspense genre. That will come when you as a writer are ready. But I will point out you have the ability to do so and very well.

    Epilogue

So nice to read a story that was not full of angst and drama. Not once did I want to smack the protagonist upside his head and yell "GET WITH IT DUDE HE LOVES YOU". This was a "smile story" and totally enjoyable.

    Chapter 15

When cooking I'm flying around the kitchen like a madman so dirty dishes/utensils get popped on the countertop over the dishwasher while reaching to the faucet to get some water and diving back to the range to stir this or add that. Kitchen towel is over my shoulder handy for quick wipes and another tucked into the waist . When I have a minute and sometimes less than a minute I pop counter dishes and utensils into the dishwasher often moving things about to efficiently fit everything in. I make absolutely sure kitchen is clean and neat before plating dinner and calling my guests in. Most times my 'guest' is my husband but it is sometimes up to 16 people -- max for kitchen dining. DO NOT EVEN THINK the kitchen is anything other than MY SPACE. Get in my kitchen I head for the knives! Most people know this and stay on the far side of the island. Noobs are warned early.

    A Bit Of Fun

First, I think Aidan has it in his mind that Heath will get him to commit then drop him. Aidan couldn't handle that. Second, part of this is Heath's problem as well. He can't just tell Aidan "I love you, now and forever" Third, I have this sneaky suspicion that Aiden will demand Heath bottom for him to prove his love.

    Chapter 10

I was waiting for Mickey to utter Sean's name during sex with Mark "fuck me hard, Sean". Don't think this relationship has legs.

    Chapter 8

I am so disappointed in Mickey, sheltered or not that was one stupid move. My respect for Mickey dropped to negative numbers. If I were Mark I would be very uncertain that such a thing wouldn't happen again some time in the future. It is a bit parallel with my own life. I was with my man 15 years and finally realized he was 'busy' with other people from the very start. I hit the divorce button right away. How could you ever trust that person again? Haven't read the upcoming chapters yet but I'm hoping that Mark takes a serious look at his future with Mickey.

    Truth

Gail can come to dinner at my house any time she wants! Hell-on-wheels because she had to be. Oh and Terrance would be invited too. He's hysterically funny and witty. Ike and Devin committed a cardinal sin, infidelity. Maybe it would be OK if they were dating but, my god, when they are married?!? No sympathy whatsoever for them.
  13. I've read several stories so far and skipped a few because I just wasn't interested. Is there a way to mark the stories I've already read and mark the ones I wish to skip? I've looked around but can't find any widget or way to indicate that I've read or wish to skip a story. Thanks.
  14. One of the best and well written stories I've read. There were times when I wanted to smack Aubrey or Andrew on the head but it all worked out. I really held my breath when Andrew went to Aubrey's wedding. If a story can elicit that kind of response from me you know I was really involved in the story, sometimes pissed at the characters, often wondering what in the hell will go wrong next and biting my fingernails waiting for the next Chapter. Looking forward to more stories from this author. Applause and encore please!!

    It's Time

This reminds me of a TV piece shown in the US. College son home on break tells his parents he is gay. Parents: "we've known that since you were a sophomore" Son: "you knew last year!!??" Parents: "oh no, since you were a sophomore in high school" Wish I had those parents! Also, thanks for a feel-good story.

    Easter Witness

I actually laughed at one part of this. My sister constantly said "if you would find Jesus". After hearing it more than a dozen times I replied "find Jesus? I didn't know he was lost". Her head nearly exploded. Unfortunately here in the US we are fighting about so-called christians denying service based on their religious beliefs. Unfortunately they have won a few cases.
  18. Drew I'm right there with you. My family is distant at best and I'm good with that. I don't have to hear their religious rantings.
  19. I felt a parallel in this story centering on the boredom with sex I was a certified slut at university feeling any weekend I didn't get laid at least twice was a disaster. This continued after graduation until I finally was sick of one-night stands, anonymous men and lonely weekdays. It was boring! I then decided to 'keep it in my pants' and started working on friendships, real people who I knew by name. It paid off nicely.
  20. Yeaaa Bruno! Infidelity is a big "NO-NO' for me in a committed relationship..
  21. I volunteered at a nursing home that had an Alzheimers ward. One elderly gentleman there was obsessed with getting a blow-job and would constantly say "give me a blow--job' to anyone around. He would occasionally expose himself and point. The staff warned me but it was still a shock initially. I got used to it.
