Everyone has pretty much said what I've felt. I'm sure the tightness in my chest will subside eventually. I guess Bailey has enough love in his heart for both of them. Good man, Bailey. Now please let Harlan start to accept that love. Yeah, Corbin might be needed here. He knows all about it.

Absolutely delightful. I've got some hunches about some possible twists, but I'd prefer to see what plays out. Another great chapter!

Glad you had a change of heart and gave us this modified ending. We all really need more love and hope in our lives right now.

Another lovely chapter. This is such a happy event. Nothing seems to be looming (although I'm sure something is.) Gary finally got to meet Bailey. Harlan still has issues as to whether he is worthy of love. I'm anxious to see how Bailey breaks that barrier down. I love all these people. I want to book a cabin at Camp Refuge.

What a lovely beginning for all of them. Glad the kids like TC (But the story would have had serious problems going on if there were.) I'm sure there will be some teenage drama, but they all seem to be on a good course. Thanks for this

I really needed a dose of your writing this morning. This really lifted me up and gave me a smile. We've all been through the trust moments in a relationship. While it is scary, there is also excitement, and wonder in it. You've given us such a beautiful glimpse of 5 people, each with their own trust "issues", opening up in their own ways. The differences are there, but it all comes back to love. Thank you.

This was a fun chapter. I like Lyssa and Owen already. The social dynamic will be an interesting exploration, but I think everyone seems affable enough to get along.

Levi got off easy. In an odd way, it's almost as if Dorian is hoping to create his own Knights of the Round Table, where honor and dignity are valued more than brute strength. I think there is plenty of room for this to go somewhere. "The Alpha" doesn't have to only mean Dorian. It can continue to the ascension of the next Alpha of the pack. I'm sure we're all anxious to see where we go from here.

Yep. It seems like both of our heroes have their relationship all thought through. And then life happens. It always seems that as soon as you have a relationship all figured out, something unexpected changes things. Can't wait to see what that is. Nice chapter.

Wonderful chapter. The relationship between Elias and Raine is opening so delicately and slowly. Elias is showing wisdom beyond his years in knowing they're not ready for more than just wonderful caresses. So sweet and tentative. I am adoring the blossoming of Bailey's & Harlan's relationship. They're interactions just get better and deeper. It will be interesting to learn more about Shawn too. I think he's going to be part of some surprises to come. Just my hunch.

I was thinking that perhaps Joseph might need to have a conversation with Elias, but with one word, Elias solved the problem. Growing pains for both Elias and Orson, but they seem like they'll be fine. There's too much love between them for there not to be. There is also something wonderful reading about tough shelled Harlan having his facade cracked open by Bailey. He's kind of cute with his teenage jitters. It's really endearing. Camp Refuge is turning into community of wonderful people. I think I love all of them.

I'm loving this whole journey! The loving relationship between TC and David is lovely and sharing their excitement of exploration is delicious. As they keep going further and further they will learn new things that, even with their past experiences, will be unique to this relationship. I do need to just give you naughty slap though (and I'm surprised that no one else has commented on it yet.) Bad kbois, bad! Chik-fil-A? That sanctimonious, homophobic company?! Bad author! Bad! Not even in fiction should they be patronized. I worked on a show in Florida for about 5 months. Every day the production company brought in lunch for us. They day they brought in Chik-fil-A, I (and about a third of the crew) refused to eat it. The company gives money to anti-LGBT causes. Bad! (rant over.)

No, No, No No, No. I'm not ready to say goodbye to these guys. It's your fault, you've made me love all of these characters so much, I just want to keep reading about them. Now that I've had my tantrum, wonderful writing! I've enjoyed the whole series and look forward to your next endeavor. Thank you for this journey.

The video is brilliant. Levi taking full advantage of his mustache twirling moment and condemning himself at the same time. I think all of us had made Levi for the rat a while ago. Knowing the particular abilities of the Unwanted Guests, Levi's end could be particularly unpleasant.

Another lovely chapter. Lovely to see all of the relationships develop and grow and thrive. Several folks unsure of their paths, but willing to do it because they have someone they can trust by their sides. Many people are still broken (aren't we all, ) and not all have started mending, but I'm excited to be following the story to see them do it. It was good to have Bailey's backstory. It had to be something very traumatic to hurt him so deeply. It had to be told and there was no easier or softer way to tell it. Thanks continually.

What everyone else said! Lovely wrap up to this story. A happily ever after for all. Except I want to read more about all of these folks.

Yes, Jacques Brel's song is a perfect tie in to this story. (Good translation of his lyrics BTW)

I think I just need to read everything else you've written that I haven't gotten to yet. I really love all the "feels" i get from your writing. Yes, I'm in tears again, but so full of love for all of your characters. Having Miranda, who is usually the composed one, unable to contain herself is perfect. Tad was all about celebrating the generosity of love, and that gift goes on for Nate and Christopher, and Miranda, and Marcus, and all the others who are touched by his work. A beautiful life (although brief) well lived. Thank you for the journey. On to the next chapter.

Well, you warned me, and I'm still a mess. But a very happy mess. Such a beautiful story about the power of love in all its forms and permutations. I'd love to write more praises of your work but my eyes are still tearing up and things are blurry. You were right. This is a very special story.

I still need that "hot" emoticon! The whole interplay between Stanley and Kent was marvelous! They are both understanding the depth of their feelings and allowing themselves to be loved. Acknowledging the depth of one's own feelings is a hard enough step. Receiving deep love from someone else is another. I love the guys even more than I did before. And I'm getting an inkling of what Markus' lifeline might turn out to be. Maybe it's too obvious (and you're so good at plot twists.) I hope my hunch is right. As for our trio, even though we know there will be lots more fears and doubts to overcome, their mutual commitment is continuing to bloom and it's a thing of beauty. I like your quote in the previous comment, "Tad is a force." Very true. He will be the anchor for the three of them. What will happen when he isn't there anymore?

This site needs an emoticon for "just plain hot"! Neither the heart nor the green wow seem sufficient. Making a three way relationship work is going to be a fun challenge for our heroes, but there seems like there is plenty of real love to go around and make it work. I also have to keep smiling at Kent and Stanley. They both like the idea of trying a dom/sub relationship, but Kent is just such a kind and gentle soul that he has trouble maintaining the dom side. But a beautiful example of the love that needs to exist in such a relationship beyond any role playing. Now, for poor Markus, we can only hope someone can throw him a lifeline, and soon. It is very difficult when you are in that dark a place to find help on your own. Poor boy just needs to be swept off his feet, but that's the romantic in me talking. If Thomas can't be the one to help him, I hope someone else comes into his life who can. Once again, I am thoroughly wrapped up in your characters. They are all friends I'd like to really meet. But maybe the reason I love them all so much is because I recognize bits and pieces of all of them in the friends I already have. Beautiful writing as always, my friend.

Loving this! Now they just need to make peace with Miranda. Wonderful chapter. And Kent and Stanley are kind of cute together.
-
Fantastic turn of events! Nate is having to deal with feelings which are totally foreign to him. Maybe this will allow him to be the conduit to get Tad and Christopher to at least talk to each other. From the title of the next chapter, I suspect that maybe in the offing. I have my hunches about Markus' family situation as well. I hope I'm right. And I am loving the development between Kent and Stanley. There is something intriguing and tender developing there as they explore new thing together.

You've made me a sobbing mess before. Why should I shy away now?

You've got me hooked on another great story, Wayne. Some wonderful new characters in this one. So far, I'm loving this one. And you have another redhead in this one. And "Brick and Fire" too. Just little touches that make me smile. Thank you for the new journey.
