Comsie, I've made single donations in the past, years ago. I looked on Imagine's website and clicked donate only to get a message that the site couldn't currently accept donations. I found one other place, but it appears PayPal only. Do you have a way to accept credit card recurring donations?

These boys are just so freaking adorable. Love this story Comsie. I know I say that about anything I read that you write, but seriously, this story and Billy are 2 of the sweetest.

How did I miss this previously...Shane is a ginger...Oh damn Deme, I'm jealous jealous jealous. I've always wanted to play with a ginger...for some strange reason my husband seems to think if I do that would be cheating. I think it should be an exception in our marriage vowels.
-
OMG! Deme and Shane are so cute. I love the time spent at the park and oh my making out in the dark basement, just WOW. Being in the dark probably helped them both with their nerves and allowed them to proceed with out the awkwardness that might have been present otherwise. Great great great chapter Comsie.

These chapters keep getting sweeter and better. I love how this is progressing. Its the sad thing about same-sex attraction, you are scared of your feelings and sometimes can't express yourself to the other person when you don't know how they truly feel as well. Its scary to lay it out there and not know if you are going to be rejected. This is true for str8 kids just starting to date or get to know each other as well. But with being gay, you don't even know if the other person is gay or str8 and trying to figure that out can be frightening as hell and if you get wrapped up in the other person and they aren't gay, its just crushing, maybe worse than just being rejected for other reasons. I really love the flow of this story. Can't wait to see what develops at Deme's home.

Comsie, this was a very sweet chapter. I hate that Shane might have some doubt clouding his head. Maybe its Deme's culture and his just overly friendly, but it sure seems like he is sending strong signals to Shane.

yet another one have started more than once (I can this about several actually). I do find it more enjoyable on this site than Nifty. I guess it is just so much easier to leave feedback. This is a sweet story and I look forward to seeing how far I get this time, perhaps I'll catch up to current chapters.

You know forget what I said about this particular story having a conclusion. I’m so drawn in, that it could go on forever. I do want the father to be hit by a bus, but I want to see the dynamics of these 4 boys develop further with the now shared knowledge. I especially want to see a love story with Brody & Zach. So yeah, let’s destroy dear old pops and move on to something really great. Now I shamelessly plug for another chapter, is today too soon? tomorrow?

Reading some of the comments about the age people were back when this story started answers some of my questions about if younger people do come to this site or in my case I began with Nifty back in the 90’s at a ripe age of 30 something. I love seeing the ages represented here too. Comsie you really are touching multiple generations with your words. They impact peoples lives. I hope that if there is someone like Zach out there that he too is able to not just read your words in the story but read your words in the comments and know that he can survive. In situations like this so many kids feel there is only one way out and that way not a solution at all. There is always help, but you have to ask. As many of us probably did, about 10+ years ago I was involved in making an “It Gets Better” video that my company produced/released. Even made a huge production of releasing the video (Silicon Valley for you). I truly do believe it gets better. My shit from my childhood is BS compared to Zach, but for both of us at that age it was very real. Levels of abuse (physical or emotional) is still abuse. And the fact is we still need to do a better job of letting those teenagers that are suffering at any level at all, know that they are not alone, there is help, and “It Will Get Better”! I have to go cry again now.
-
With no embarrassment at all, I’m crying. This is what I’ve been hoping/waiting for. I just don’t have the skilled words of an author to write how touching this is. I HOPE this is the doorway to Zach’s recovery. He is going to need these 3 guys to make it.
-
I know I have read this story through to this point at least 4 times...but I believe beginning with the next chapter I'll be in uncharted water. Wish me luck.

So how long before they tell Adam and Sam or worse Adam/Sam find out some other way. Something tells me they will accept Zach & Brody, give them shit of course, just like they gave Adam shit over the girl at the music store.

After the last chapter, this one is like a walk in the park. Also, I want to clarify something I said a few chapters ago...I stand by my apology and another reader helped me to realize that my expectations and Comsie's don't have to match and if I don't like it, well don't let the door hit you on the way out. BUT, I do reserve the right to shamelessly beg every now and then for a new chapter of something/anything but preferably this one and Billy Chase. I've mostly read Comsie's work via Nifty, didn't discover his work on this site until a few years ago but for some reason stuck with Nifty. I've found I like being here better and having the interaction with the other readers as well as the author. I've also realized maybe this is the one story I don't want an ending to, because there are so many ways this can end. And all but one scare the living shit out of me, so yeah, maybe this time, no shamelessly begging for this story to end. I don't know if I could take something even worse happening to Zach.
-
I agree, and I'm not sure heartbreaking is even strong enough to describe what his going through my head or my heart right now. This story is keeping Kleenex in business I know that much. We already have our happy ending regardless of how this story plays out. We know somewhat who this is based upon and we now by his own words that he not only survived but he is truly happy and in a good place. So regardless of Zach's story, the real one does have the happy ending. The abuse stopped, a young boy recovered and grew in a fine young man and author. So yeah, we have our happy ending. No matter what!

Thanks for writing this. I've been one who has spoken a few times about the lack of complete stories, at least the ones that are in a series. But your comments hit home with me. I have zero right to expect anything. Yeah I'd love nothing more than to see this story and Billy Chase come to conclusion as well as a few others. The thing is we have expectations when we start to read a story mostly that there is a conclusion. But we have no right to demand or expect Comsie to do anything other than at the pace he so chooses. And that is something we either live with or we walk away. There is no way I can walk away! So Comsie I apologize for the past comments about the open stories. And wow, to think you've been writing on this since 2001, that is just...WOW.

I HATE this chapter but I LOVE this chapter. I swear if I ever find someone abusing their kid, there will just be no place to hide. Oh Brody, please Brody I'm begging, break through the walls. Please keep loving Zach, he needs love and compassion so much and you are the one we are trusting to bring Zach to understand this is not his fault and that he is worthy of love, your love especially.
-
So Comsie, a few chapters ago, you said only a few chapters left....but as of now there are 24 chapters posted and the story is not marked complete. So is this nightmare almost over, does Zach get anywhere close to a happy ending. I don't know your style because frankly I've only read one completed series of yours, all the rest have been going on for a damned eternity.

How can I love a story so much that truly disgusts me and I hate the very idea of a child being abused.
-
Ok Comsie, what gives....Aiden is a beautiful name. Why does Zach hate it. Wait is that his dad's name, if so, then of course he would hate. I would want to legally change it too. I hope Brody gives Zach strength and a safe space. I hope some how he can build himself up physically too, he just cannot continue to take this monsters abuse. It still strikes me so odd that his mother is loving and playful and the father is this absolute monster. That doesn't mesh in my mind, no way I can see the mom falling for this guy, how does he hide his true nature from her, unless she doesn't want to see what is right in front of her. I know it is none of our business but I would really love to know how you escaped this yourself, short of killing your own abuser, how does anyone escape or is it just completely a factor of time and waiting to turn 18?
-
Here I am wanting a child to raise, to honor, worship even, provide for, bet even more, just to be a good role model for a child. And yet I'm the outcast who society automatically deems unfit. Talk about life being unfair in a different way. Zach would never know pain in my home, only love and more love.
-
I've read this on Nifty several times but never all the way through. Each time I go a little bit further. Pick up on something I missed previously. Each time praying the nightmare of Zack's life will end. Praying his friends clue in. Praying his mother wakes the hell up. But it never happens. I honestly don't know why I torture myself, the outcome never changes. Once I discovered all the stories were on GA, that become my primary source for reading now. I enjoy reading others comments and occasionally making one of my own.
-
Comsie, I can't believe you had to endure anything like this. I hope it wasn't as bad as you write about, but something tells me this is coming from experience. I just don't know how to even respond to this kind of abuse. An apology seems so inadequate. Where were the people who are supposed to be protecting Zach, how can his mother be so fucking blind and clueless. Why is his father such a monster. Where were the people that were supposed to be protecting you? I know life isn't fair and some people get more shit than others, but this is beyond comprehension.
-
I dont understand why i keep reading this story, maybe hoping the Comsie will actually finish a story and this nightmare will be over. It’s been a while and I know i haven’t read through the latest few chapters so it will be a surprise coming up. This story rips at my heart and just want to grasp Zach, hug him and take away his pain. I wish he would grab a knife and stab his father in his sleep. No court would convict him, absolutely not.
-
I volunteer to murder that dad. What a piece of filthy fucking shit!
