Today I turned 67 yrs old. I feel old especially since I hurt my knee but I have an appointment with the doctor to find out what is wrong on Thursday! Keep me in prayers that I don't have to have surgery.

Hope you get to feeling better! My sister has recovered completely even though she scared her son half to death one day when she didn't return his calls or texts. He told her he wasn't worried when she finally texted him back later telling him she had been sleeping. He told her when she got completely better that he had thought she had died and was fixing to tell his boss he had to go check on his mom. But she texted him as soon as he thought of it.

Mitch and Will connected as friends and then lovers a long time ago and they never got over each other. You can tell that in the story. Now they both need to understand that even though they have broken spirits and shattered hearts even though they still feel the love for one another, that they need to still hold on to a glimmer of hope for a life together in sickness and in health as all couples want. We all die and leave loved ones behind and they should hope for a better life and should thank God that everything happens for a reason. We grow from our mistakes and should take love and happiness when it is given to us even if it is for only a short time and that should be the true treasure of love. They are both God's precious gift to each other. They should also know that only true love they will ever have is staring them in the face when they look at one another. So Mitch needs to understand that Will is wanting to remedy the wrong he did to Mitch by wanting to be there for him till death they do part. And Mitch needs to accept the apology and make things right.

Please tell me they get out alive all 4 of them!

I agree with Wesley! Stubborn as he has been, he did pull his head out and is going to talk to Will! Well said, Wesley, on bout damn time! Gary, you outdone yourself on this chapter! Well done on how you got Mitch to buy the land and finally got Coy and Boone to accept his offering!

Mitch and Will are stubborn "old farts"! They can't avoid each other all the time and the way Will is so stubborn in trying to get Mitch to talk to him is endearing to me! I feel like Will is going to finally succeed in talking to him. Wondering if there could be a dream that Mitch has that will get it through his thick stubborn head that will change his mind about Will! Time will tell though! And only the author will know! lol

Well, Gary, you outdid yourself on this fantastic chapter, As Larkspurs Continues! I couldn't resist that! Sounds like a soap opera name And this story is not one of those! It is full of life, sadness, happiness, and suspense all in one in a story of good friends and loved ones making their lives as comfortable and easy for them to be able to live their lives the way they want to. I think I was born in the wrong era cause that is the kind of life I want to live and not this kind I live these days with all going on in the world. Anyway, on that note, I will say this: Mitch, you get your law abiding butt up and go talk to Will so you 2 can have some good loving to show each other before anyone passes on. That is what growing old is for to stay together till one passes. That is LOVE!

Today I found out even though my sister had her 2nd dose of phizer in April that she is now quarantined at her apartment with Covid!

Today I found out that a close friend of mine and my sister's from school passed away from pneumonia from Covid! I hope this pandemic will hurry up and get over with! It is getting bad! I feel like a prisoner in my own home and also one when I go anywhere since I have to wear a mask, even though I have been vaccinated. I wear one for my own peace of mind.

I haven't had any experiences, but my nephew and his wife did last year while she was pregnant with their first child. They both got it. My sister had gastric bypass surgery in the same town at the time/ Her son and daughter in law did not know they had it and was at their baby shower. My sister was there but she was hurting and didn't stay very long and never got close to anyone. Then she found out that they had it and it scared her. Everyone at the shower got it but my sister and everyone survived which we all was thankful of! Then this week, I was outside and seen a neighbor drive up to my house and rolled down her window. She told me that her stepdad had passed away. I was shocked. I asked what happened and she told me she had gotten covid and since she lived with her stepdad and mom, then they contracted from her. Her mom was ok now but her stepdad didn't make it. When I made an appointment to get my driver's license renewed next week, then I realized that I put it on Monday, the same day as the funeral of my neighbor. The appointment is at 11 am and the funeral is at 2 pm. Hope I am through at the DVM office before 2 pm since I promised to be there!

Uh Oh! Coy opened his mouth! I knew he would! As for Will, I think he will be persistent enough to finally get Mitch to come around to understanding what he was feeling when Mitch kept getting wounded. Mitch might have changed in the 23 years but so has Will. They will finally come to terms with what they feel for each other! More power to them too! Glad he came to Coy and Boone's! He needed their kind of friendship!

This story was a breath of fresh air! Not many people will write about this subject. Trans people get the worse end of the deal where the public is concerned and that is so wrong. They have feelings too and want a relationship with someone. The way you wrote it makes people see what they go through and if their partners go through with them. Point on, Wayne! I love it! I love being a female and always have but I have dreamed what it would be like to be a man and what they feel inside and how it would feel like to have sex with the same sex as a man or with a female. I love that Brandon said at the end that Dane was not his wife but his husband. That told me they will make it. Great job, my friend!

Well, I am wondering how Will will react when Coy and Boone tells him their new foal's name is Willard? I bet it will bring back memories of Mitch and hope Will tells them. Now curiosity will kill me for a week not knowing about that. I am thinking that Mitch will stay indefinitely and buy the land the creek is on.

Congratulations on your milestone! I was wondering what happened with Mitch and why he had lost weight. It definitely sounds like lung cancer. (My dad died of lung cancer and the symptoms were the same.) That is sad he has to go through that. As for Will being close by, it seems there is history with them and the way he described him was like they have a special history with each other. Hope it doesn't backfire. If it doesn't, then hopefully Will will be exactly what Mitch needs for as long as he may have.
