I remember watching him in Mission Impossible and always liked him as an actor. I just noticed that he was born in the same year as my mother, but she died in 1999. At least he had a little longer in his mortal shell. R.I.P., Martin Landau!

Brenda, Pat, and the boys all woke up early Sunday morning, eager to get underway. After they were dressed and had loaded their gear into the van, we went inside to eat. We fell back into our normal grind again after Owen's visit. The boys played more baseball games and we were pleased by how well they were doing, because they continued to improve as the season progressed. Owen asked Ryan to stay over at his house the weekend after he stayed with us, so Ryan asked him to stay with us again the Friday after that. When I woke the boys up Saturday morning, I hurried them downstairs to grab a quick breakfast, before we had to leave for Benny and Joshie's game. The game was scheduled for 10:00 and we'd let the boys sleep a little later than usual, but we had to get Benny and Joshie to the field a half hour before the game started so they could warm up first. Happy Canada Day to all our friends to the north. I saw Alex Trebek talking about it on Jeopardy last night, and as he suggested I'm partying starting today and I won't stop until the Fourth, in honor of both our countries and close ties. Wee doggies, I probably won't sober up until August. lol
