As we entered the first weekend of December, the house was decorated, both inside and out, and we were playing Christmas music to get everyone into the holiday spirit. We were also watching the seasonal specials on TV, so the boys were all starting to get Christmas fever. After Adam was settled in at Johns Hopkins again, Mike gave him a very passionate kiss and energetic embrace, but then he had to leave right away so he could get back to DC and get everything organized for the next day. Brenda and Trey were already up and working on dinner by the time the rest of us got up Thanksgiving morning. After the boys came downstairs, Dion and Brandon went to the kitchen and urged the other two to take a break while they fixed breakfast for all of us. Brenda was hesitant about doing this at first, saying she would be happy to fix breakfast, but Brandon insisted and his mother eventually gave in. Dion and Brandon whipped up French toast, home fries, and bacon, while I set the table.

He played a wide variety of interesting roles and will be missed. RIP John Hurt. Also, Mike Connors, star of the TV show Mannix (1967 - 1975) also passed away this week. He was 91. RIP Mike Connors.

When Adam got back to Baltimore after returning from visiting Mike, he was dying to know how Chris had made out. The problem was, he didn't know how to do that.
