    A Trial Run

Yes, they're all willing to give it a try, so hopefully everything will work out.

    A Trial Run

Thanks, Stix, and this will be interesting.
  3. During the following week, Brandon and I discussed how it might have affected the birthday party if Julie’s three kids were living with us already. After multiple conversations, we finally concluded that it would have allowed us to split the kids into even teams without recruiting Becky. However, it would have made it more difficult for them to compete against the adults, since there would have been a greater number of children, but maybe we could have done it against half of them at a time. 4. I don't know how I missed responding to James, but I just did.
  5. He will pop up from time to time, but just like in real life, sometimes we lose contact with old friends. Sorry about the delay in the reply, but for some reason I never saw a notification on this comment.
  6. You're going backward, because you've been commenting on Next Generation 3. lol
  7. There are bigots and idiots everywhere.
  8. Xander, I appreciate your interest in this story, but I'm not sure how much longer I can keep it going. This is the twelfth book already, and I might be nearing the point where hardly anyone is reading it. The number of people following the story gets smaller with every book, and this is a lot of work if hardly anyone is reading it. I appreciate those of you who have stayed loyal, but everything eventually comes to an end. I think the title, The endless Story, has already been used. lol
  9. Thanks, Xander. No, Little Ricky (Richard) isn't goofing off, but he can only recommend kids he comes into contact with and feels would benefit by being at the Hotel. Obviously, no one fits that bill at present.
  10. Thanks again, flesco, and I'm sure the visit should prove to be interesting.

    A Strange Request

Thanks, flesco. No, the family has never rejected anyone. Frankie got kicked out at one point, but after returning and apologizing he was accepted by into the fold. We'll have to wait and see how this works out.
  12. Thanks, tor.
  13. Thanks, Stanley. I'm sure we're all waiting to see how this works out.
  14. Thanks, Brandon. I'm glad that you enjoy my efforts.
  15. Thanks, Wesley. Different areas refer to things in different ways, so I'm glad you figured it out. The transition with the twins and their sister should prove to be interesting.
  16. I called Mrs. Thornton on Monday and she agreed to let us come to the house the following Saturday so we could speak with her children. Brandon and I had suggested this particular time because we felt it would be best to do it after work on a Saturday, since we only worked until noon and wouldn’t have to rush. We would be able to take all the time we needed to discuss this with her children, because Dad, Pop, Dion, and Trey had agreed to cover for us until we got home. It also meant we woul

    A Strange Request

You never know what might happen at the Hotel, and I doubt many of the readers expected to see a girl there - other than the daughters-in-law and granddaughters, who are only there on a limited basis.

    A Strange Request

Thank you very much for your feedback and I'm glad you're enjoying this series. It obviously took a great deal of time and effort to get this far, so I hope you continue to enjoy the rest of this story.

    A Strange Request

Yes, I try to keep you guessing, and I've been updating twice a week, which I attempt to do on Monday and Thursday. I don't want to make you guys wait too long.

Thanks, Tor, it should prove interesting.

    A Strange Request

Wesley, I was wondering how many others may have thought about a scenario such as this, as well as how they're going to react to the possibility of a girl living at the hotel. It should be an interesting journey, and we'll just have to wait to discover her orientation. I'm blad you are appreciating this.
  22. Nothing out of the ordinary happened for the next week and a half, but then one morning my receptionist brought something to my attention. “A woman called almost as soon as we opened this morning and requested an appointment to speak with you and Dr. O’Hara at the same time. She told me her children are both of your patients, so I told her I’d call back to set up something, because I had to speak with you first.” “Did she say what it was about?” “No, she said she would only discuss the

    A Parting Gift

Thanks, James, and I think everyone hopes we're done with Hubbard. It's only the middle of April in the story, so Elliot won't be graduating for another month and a lot can happen in that amount of time.

    A Parting Gift

Yes, Wesley. I've always enjoyed the time I've spent there.

    A Parting Gift

Stix, we'll have to wait and see, but I have a good feeling about this time.
