Agree 👍, where is Tonto when you need her? ( I know, dead and buried). Even a Brad slap down about now would help. Jeremy could offer life lessons, as could Claire. I miss all of the above

I was smitten by Ser Val and Ser Ian getting it on. Just wanted to say that it was noticed.

Of all your stories, the Silver Boar series ( to me) is by a big margin the most intense, fascinating, wild, riveting exhilarating..well, fantastic writing of them all.
-
Ahh, the nemesis of "The Spanish Princess ", and a worthy adversary, the mother of King Henry VII.
-
Delicious, both this and the preceding chapter.

Im wondering if Palomar was deliberately allowing himself to be seen in the light of an active spy, and then ( perhaps deliberately) missing the ships sailing allowed the other spy ( Herrera!) To inveigle himself into Grangers graces and finally to expose him as an abomination in the eyes of His Most Catholic Majesty's. Now that would be a trap that Granger would need his skills to wriggle from. Luckily his wife is pregnant with child and he has a mistress.

In another story, set in about 2006, 2 teenagers in love from very very wealthy families, older than your group, but the way you express their feelings, hopes, dreams and general failing around, much better in my view. I'm way more invested in Tomas than Travis.. ( yes, I know, different measurements, different styles but...). Genius writing from a 14 to 16 year old youth perspective. Let the trouble begin. Both stories are written well.

After the nightmare , Atreus was bare chested in the cold, yet Cas clung to his linen night shirt. ( Sorry, I'm clearly reading every line and word)
-
Elderberry, flowers for tea, berries for jam and Elderberry wine. My mother made all three, the jam stains permanent on clothing, but well worth it. The wine was potent. Thanks for the memory!

Noblesse Obliged doesn't resonate with Will. Im with @PrivateTim, people doing there job but offend him?, must be ratbags who are publicly humiliated . Loyalty is fine as long as its on his terms. A very self indulgent wanker.

We have flavoured rice cakes here, raspberry, honey, mixed herbs, blue cheese flavours. Not real, all synthetic but taste better than cardboard, Australia, land of Vegemite and innovation
-
I myself love that by reading the comments, new scraps of information comes to light, very Inspector ( insert name here; Rex, Morse, Lynley, Ellis, Gadget...)
-
Yes, yes and yes. Sorry, but a stupid move when all considerations are taken into account.
-
My preference is for the wonderful Lord Brenwood rather than the vacuous reality of Travis and Will. I was surprised by the comments of @PrivateTim, as I thought that no one had made mention of current events other than in a jovial manner, and if my incredulous response was ill received, then I apologise, mine was related to the heat wave and people avoiding the State Fair. We here in Australia are wll conditioned to 40 degrees plus ( Celsius). But you in the USA might find it taxing.

I am wondering which of the 2 new additions will be a spy, suspect not the Purser, but an untitled 2nd lieutenant susceptible to offers of advancement and or a title.. Would be curious to hear from Winkler and Jacobs how they get with the crew and any honest feedback about the refurbished ship, and uniforms! Here in Australia, the 4th July was just another Saturday watching the ongoing show across the pacific with incredulity.

Mr Flinders is well regarded here in Australia, Flinders Range ( mountains actually) named after him

Waiting for the shoe to drop with Evelyn and Daniel, even Aaron that Austin is the Alpha they are needing, just needs Xavier to do the turning. Just my 2 cents @Painawakened...

Ah, 5 am that USA / Australia match. You won, we lost. Still, we had some of the best chants going. Agree with all your comments, a brick wall at 100 miles an hour is looming

Chapter 23: Shifter Sorrow
Darryl62 commented on astone2292's story chapter in Chapter 23: Shifter Sorrow
From Sydney Australia, google maps led me to look up locations! And they are real! Surprised that they exist and pleased in equal parts. -
I have every business day had an appointment at 3 pm, ( Sydney Australia) and I waited for the chapter to upload, no one ever came into the conference room for me. Some days I came out happy, others no so much.. the last few days people walked rapidly away from me by the look on my face. Then had afternoon tea to think about it. 450 staff following along without knowing it..
-
A prequel perhaps? He definitely has a story of his younger years to tell for sure
-
Oh my.. well.. just... last three chapters, and still that part of the world is on fire. Your a mighty fine author and you have made me sweat over our heroes. Whew, get them on the ship away!!!

I was struck by Darien calling Wylan Husband, the first time by memory, and I heard it in my head with anguish. Well written indeed.

I was in Turkey some years ago ( working for TV during Eurovision) and was in the city of Troy at the movies, watching Troy with Turkish subtitles. Owners had to pause the film to allow for smokes and wild, passionate conversation before resuming the film. Strong 💪 in pride of history

Turkish television does historical drama really well, as they have locations that can be anywhere along the Mediterranean. Handsome men as well as a bonus. Oh, hopefully they make it through the next phase and escape to Europe with all the treasures that have accumulated!
