    Ah hah! 1/ I picked Guy Fellowes chapters earlier 2/ Dr. Eagen is brilliantly written, and I hope that he returns 3/ interesting dynamic between Taylor and all the others, will await further developments 4 / "Convivial "? Really, are you not worried that your American readers might need to have this word explained? Having just read about the poor level of comprehension and understanding of semi complex ideas that the average person has in that country 😳 ( opps is that the sound of multiple brain snaps?). Just kidding!!!, clearly you draw a more educated audience who understand nuance.

    My, my, my... the emotional content was really satisfying, and I hope next chapter gives us all three powers together, being Shifters, Witches and Vampires. So much potential for wild explosion. Still want "Mother" to pay for her sins... and the rest of the leadership for their role with the King.

    I have just started this story, and I wanted to say how much I appreciate the Englishness of your work. A very welcome change from continental USA . To read of other land and places, peoples struggles that I can relate to, even though I am a New Zealander first,the echoes of townships, cafe's ring strong in my bones. Thank you for the joy you bring ❤

    I suspect Taylor has managed to come into the orbit of Guy Fellows and hes running things, hoping for a payment of sorts while Taylor things its all fun and games and that the cells will be miraculous left unlocked so they can escape. BTW, poor George Granger has been stuck in that carriage for a very long time now... just sayin...

    I wasn't sure if I wanted to read Ralph story, as book one made him seem cowardly, BUT, i am so glad that I did. Beautifully drawn picture of a man under pressure, who I have seen many times in my life. The children are a delight and having 2 young girls in my life I can recognise truth when it is written, some lovely writing that is uplifting and so warm. Envious of the writing style and often had to drag myself to bed after 1 am as it is a "just one more chapter ". Looking for more of these men and their lives, I certainly feel Ralph and Nolan (and Theresa comments in the background!) Just delightful

    Travis hasn't asked her why she thinks she was kidnapped, he hasn't questioned her about any unusual activity in her recent past, or wondered why shes with him.. not in any real detail. As for "Be Rad" and Jake, well... thats all down to the esteemed author who is playing cards close at this point, same with JP, Stef, the whole crew. Silence 🔕 🤫. Our school year begins in February and ends in December, but I know you Americans do it differently, perhaps @Mark Arbour is gearing up for your end of scholastic achievements and is now in the business end of the year. just another thing, our end of financial year is 30 June, others 30 March, so here in Australia we are gearing up for tax time.

    Taylor is a pawn in a bigger game, she is easily manipulated Travis is still a total tool, and that he doesn't suspect Taylor just makes my statement more true. Brad and Jake are not behaving as we have come to know them. They have the Mexican cartel in their corner and haven't called on them? Seriously....

    I had posted, about how Ray will be a focused point to the witches and they will not be pleased. The Vampires have yet to arrive but will smell the Queen blood and will surely treat carefully. Brilliant work 👏 👍 👌

    I don't hate Travis, just indifferent to his self induced drama (that's all you @Mark Arbour), after so many people in this series who have depths and true internal dialogue, hes just... a stupid idiot. Admittedly, its a story line that I will cruise though, others also seem to think that he's been a fool, even he is beginning to think so. Love ya back 😘 ❤️ 💓

    Seems plausible with this author. She might have run out of money and Travis is such an idiot and total tool this she has found partners for this scheme. As a side bar, lovely revenge. Also checking the trail from plane and back seems so obvious why hasn't it already been done?
