Even I wanted to smack Luther. 😒

In the early 90s, I worked in Murwillumbah main street for St. George and lived above the High School. Schoolies for them wasn't the GC, it was the Whitsundays. But it pretty much was identical. We all avoided the GC if we could and watching the drunken fighting on TV every night, Victorians always the troublemakers unless Sydney came up.. I was considered a weird person who was from Sydney, who was a NZ immigrant, so a bit of flair was expected. Very gay place, and Tropical Fruits were a major outlet. 👌

Chapter 1 - Rescinding Order 412
Darryl62 commented on Wayne Gray's story chapter in Chapter 1 - Rescinding Order 412
I found this due to the email below. And I'm hooked. Can I recommend to you @Wayne Gray the TV series called Fortitude. Its in English, set in Svalbard Norway. Super creepy and involves English, Russian and Norwegian. Beware discoveries... The Fifth Friday of the month is the day for Pot Luck. Perhaps it might mean Jeremy starting his own redecorating business, Mode magazine doing a picture spread of both Travis place and Jeremy's own abode. What a spin our for all the JJ haters, that he comes good... @Mark Arbour, genius as usual.

I have loved Jeremy's arc of redemption, even back with Jeanine he was just following her lead turning him into her supplicant. In some ways, following on from @spyke, secretly if Jeremy was kidnapped by the Serbian mob, he would be well treated, and he might even make friends and redecorate the space... just amusing myself. If the lawyer have a separate office, a break in and safe theft, followed by a fire. But I suspect they inhabit an office tower 🤔 😏

If that is your real face and not an avatar, your going to be ooh so popular in Berlin...

The James Bond film, Skyfall is what came to mind originally. Was there a song of the same name in the opening sequence?. I did expect more... I'm not sure what exactly, but Ray and Gabriel felt like they were not central like in the castle, but too far on the edge? Not enough of them doing their form of magic I suppose. Perhaps I just wanted more revenge inflicted. 😔 but totally satisfied!!

Act III - Holding Out For A Hero
Darryl62 commented on Jack Poignet's story chapter in Act III - Holding Out For A Hero
Perhaps I missed it, but only wearing a robe into a winters night might be a little...delicate? Surprised that either the boys or Ariadne didn't on their walk towards the door conjure up warmer clothing and footwear. Oh and perhaps Mother rather than unconscious, trapped in Ariadne pillar of white screaming but unable to be heard and indeed ignored as she too finally realising that the game has changed and her role has devolved from potential Queen to pawn. ( just musing @Jack Poignet -
Took me forever to finish this chapter 😪 understanding will slowly seep into my befuddled brain ( he said hopefully)...

Act III - Any Dream Will Do
Darryl62 commented on Jack Poignet's story chapter in Act III - Any Dream Will Do
For a terrible horrible moment (or seven)! I thought Morwenna was going to succeed, but then an unexpected flip to the presumed narrative. New character in the final moments who had been hidden from us, very Agatha Christie of you. Will the combined pack along with Ray and Gabriel be enough? Or will the Sentinels have to save the day. After all, the Vampire Prince seems to have an awful lot of power to throw around. And finally, what of mother... -
I just now looked up NOLA USA to understand reference, because not all your readers live where you live.... 🙃 😒

Act III - A Whole New World
Darryl62 commented on Jack Poignet's story chapter in Act III - A Whole New World
Well @Jack Poignet, tricky, tricky, tricky... I'm now so invested here. At least 4 ten thousand word chapters I reckon... -
Act III - Anything Goes
Darryl62 commented on Jack Poignet's story chapter in Act III - Anything Goes
Neither the Shifters nor the Witches have any real power left between them, both drained by their own hubris while the Vampires nibbled at both, hoarding their strength and powers. Will the Shifters bring the old ones with them? Do the Witches have a hidden card to play? We still no nothing about Timmy and his transformation and what of Ariadne? So many questions...! Thanks @Jack Poignet -
I'm thinking that in the past, Big was in a situation where someone died, injured or raped and Curtis made it all disappear But he left details with the lawyers to ensure Big did what he wanted. Will the Schluter family care enough (no) will Travis care enough (no) and certainly Miranda and Taylor dont have enough influence to make a difference. Big is going down...

Totally awesome chapter, meeting two phantoms! And the other Snow as well, almost a friend. The classroom lessons seem to be not so much as helpful to Richter but more a lesson to the other students. The Border Collie is very very creepy, its the unexpected appearance and his conversation, I expect him to attack almost every time he appears. Wonderfully complex story, thank you 💖

I was also musing, what if our boy is mentality attuned to Cerberus? After all, only around 10% of our brain matter is used by most people and all that available functionality since birth... . Is Josh like a biological control? Gives emotional context to the circuitry? Leading to better guesses? Faster more intuitive responses? A prototype that is much more than expected as data flows in both directions? Josh is Cerberus and Cerberus is installed in the brain of Josh. Also, I'd like his love interest to be a quite boy with a cleft palette and a stammer who is on a scholarship . Thinks he nothing special and hides from the bullys lead obviously by Reed the IV..

The Sharp Edge of Elegance
Darryl62 commented on Jeff Burton's story chapter in The Sharp Edge of Elegance
Im so with you in this, it would be a disservice to the story to have such a sad, obvious outcome. Personally, I am looking forward to IV being in a fight, serious injury, ( but saved by our fighting machine during the fight leading to more questions about his abilities) then IV sadly pssing away from his injuries... @Jeff Burton, huge expectations here... -
Waiting like a 18th century debutante... bated breath and heaving bosom...

When Josh says "Walter " are we sure it wasn't a question? Is it the same Walter from before? Is this a herring?

Between Shadows and Light
Darryl62 commented on Jeff Burton's story chapter in Between Shadows and Light
I was wondering about an implant in Josh head at first, then I thought an MRI would totally kill him and that idea, then I wondered if a plastic implant... plastic chips? Buried deeply in his brain so that the minimum metal on the chip wouldn't show up.. but then activation? Brain waves? Two voices in his head other than his own.. is one of then a guard on the other more malevolent killing machine? Late here in Australia, 12.30 on a Thursday night you evil genius, bed now... -
Its meant as a compliment, very James Patterson and his FBI agent Alex Cross, there was also a Kincaid in one of his stories as well. Most delicious story!

Heres a diagnosis for you that I've been given... "Neuro linguistic Aphasia " Terrible thing, words fail to appear in your mind and mouth. Just blanks and you have to talk around the missing snippet, seems

I have no medical experience, but I've been so ill that I have received the Last Rites, cancer so bad they thought it was the end, a head injury that I still have memory loss from 5 years later. Its all very real to me, especially the weighed tiredness and the brain that refuses to function or even acknowledge existence. You seem to be writing my lived experiences and that is ...scary, awesome and slightly unnerving. 😎 Thanks 😊 🫂

Our devious author makes one suspect anyone who has quietly slipped off the radar. Miranda might be desperate enough, where has she been while her children are kidnapped, accidents happening almost weekly.. no hospital visits... my Miss Marple nose is scrunching up..
