  1. Jeez, apart from the apples (I'm not a great apple fan myself, no matter which sort🙂) there is a tendency to mental health issues in Alec. And I'm damned curious what they are and how he is going to handle them. But my curiosity is not important when it comes to my opinion of chapter 1: this is simply great and delicate writing, the kind of writing I like. Hope to see more of your work. Love Georgie D'Hainaut
  2. Bæjarfjall Peninsula, near Straumness Lighthouse, Iceland, March 15th 2019 The night was ink-black and crystal clear over the Norwegian Sea, where it touched the shores of the North Icelandic coast. Many stars sparkled and the water hit the rocks in a low rumble, driven by a gentle northern wind. Along the whole northern horizon, in the direction of the North Pole, bands of light could be seen. It was not lightning, as one might suspect. It was far more beautiful and enchanting
  3. This is not a feel good-story or a happy story. It is about the deep and profound love between two young men, in the beginning of their twenties, both of them filled with high hopes and big dreams. But then an unexpected thing causes events of disastrous proportions, destroying these hopes and dreams…but not their unconditional love! Yes, it is another long story. But I can’t split it up. It’s the kind of story that has to be read in one go to get the full impact of it.
  4. I love poetry, I love erotic poetry even more. You made a real master piece of the last kind of poetry. I hope to read more of it, as I will publish some of mny own poetry. Because this excellent poem inspired me to do so.
  5. June 2018 A young man, in his mid-twenties, sauntered over the Suq El Qatanin in Jerusalem and passed the Western Wall, the holy place for Orthodox Jews, who were doing their prayers there. In a way he was always fascinated when he observed the praying men. Contrary to himself, who was dressed like a westerner, in faded jeans and a t-shirt, these men always seemed uniformed to him. They all wore long black coats, black trousers, white shirts without tie and broad-brimmed black h
  6. In a torn Jerusalem a young Israeli Army doctor falls in love with a Palestinian boy. My God, where does this lead to? Or would it turn out to be just fine, Inshallah?
  7. June 1994 Morning had broken over the city of Prague a few hours earlier. Although the sun shone brilliantly over the many roofs and the city’s streets, its outlook was not a favorite one. Apart from the tourist attractions, that were in somewhat better shape, most of the buildings and houses looked neglected. Painting had gone years before, wood in window sills was rotting. The streets were dirty and the cars, trucks and busses, that drove through them. looked old-fashioned and dere
  8. A young boy aborts school and walks away from home, fed up with his almost perpetually drunk father and his almost always hysterical mother. He goes to Prague but, being without qualifications, he finds life hard there. His only asset is his astounding, even stunning beauty. But is that a blessing…or is it a curse? Dedicated to those beautiful boys, who suffer, so that we can have some “fun”.
  9. In the days, when Scott MacKenzie sang out his invitation to come to San Francisco, Michèle, a 16 years old girl with a vague Asian or maybe even Inuit ancestry visible in her facial features, left Montreal, hellbent on a more exciting life than withering away in some suburban existence as a mother and house wife, and accepted Scott’s invitation. With the little money she had she took the train to the west, but once her funds were depleted at some non-descript station, she walked and hitchhiked
  10. Jay (yes, the same Jay from “When Pain comes Back”) is happy with his Alex, but without warning someone else comes in his life and gradually he is torn between two loves, placing him for a harsh dilemma. Then an unexpected catastrophe happens, that seems to ruin his life and there is no longer anything left to choose! It is the last part of my little trilogy “The Kingdom Boys". Then it is time for some other stuff....😊
  11. A young boy sat on a chair, gloom, despair and anger all over his face. Beside him sat his case worker and opposite him, a little higher, an elderly gentleman in a black toga, who looked at him sternly, making the boy drop his eyes under the gaze. “Well son”, the elderly man started to speak with a soothing yet earnest voice, “To be honest: I’ve heard and read enough about you to come to a conclusion. Since your folks seem to be unable or unwilling to help you out at home, I guess it is tim
  12. We’ll return to „Syllables & Sounds”, that small book- and record store in the Main Street of a small rural town on the lake’s shore in North Vermont. Does history repeat itself, does it only seem to re-appear in small variations or are revolutions to be expected? It is part 2 of my trilogy "The Kingdom Boys"

  14. A Wall to Hide it All A strong, southeastern wind blew the moist air from the Atlantic seashore over the South Bay of the lake and over the wetlands south of the town. A dense overcast hung over the vast stretches of forest and the interspersed smaller patches of farmland. It sure looked as if it would start to rain anytime now. A young boy of about seventeen walked through Main Street towards the west, a bundle of books under his arm. They were new books from the library, wher
  15. A young boy struggles his arduous way towards maturity in a small rural town, encountering uncertainties, fears, doubts and many questions, making him almost succumb to all the pressures. When a new lawyer comes into town, his life is shaken up with possible changes on a far horizon. My first contribution to GayAuthors.org. I hope you guys like it
