What a wonderful beginning to what could have been another fantastic story! I work right next to JBAB and every single time I’m in Georgetown I think of CJ and Carlos. He’s is such a magical man. I actually cried when I first learned of his passing as I was in the thick of the CJ series. I truly felt like I knew him through his writing so I can certainly relate to your feelings and plan to actually meet. I really wish I could have too. To Carlos 🥃 ‘shot of Johnnie Walker Blue’

I’ve throughly enjoyed this story to this point and I understand what Koby has done. Rape is an act of violence and I don’t think that’s what happened here. Yes it was sex without consent and he certainly deserves punishment but I don’t think he deserved being “beaten to a pulp”. I actually feel bad for him, and Kurt, with all his prejudices and anti socialization, should definitely not be in law enforcement!

This story was an amazing adventure into a world of magic. Medieval meets modern science with a interesting insight to a possible origin of magic The writing is top notch, character developments are among the best I’ve read here and the dialog unique and fun to read. Snave, my personal favorite, is an unusual and a lovable character even though he’s not of human form. While not particularly erotic, the adventure of these characters and their pursuit for justice had me captivated. I loved to watch the main character, Jamie, grow into the Master Mage that he’s become. If you’re into the supernatural with a gay theme this is a story for you!

I very much enjoyed Chipper’s adventure! Never having actually watched The Voice I’m thinking maybe I should give it shot. The suspense and visuals were intriguing and the ending? Wow! I was wondering how that would play out. Acsimple win would have been too predictable, lol. Now on to the next member of the Squad.

My partner lived, iirc, 116 12th St. SE when I met him over 25 years ago. It was a nice neighborhood then and I’m sure even better now. Fond memories of hungover walks to Eastern Market on Sundays after a festive night before at the bars.
