Circumnavigation (99+23) Thrown to the Sharks
Benji replied to C James's topic in C James Fan Club's Topics
.............Great chapter, I knew those shark sticks would come in handy! Mr. B underestimated an angry Trevor, and Trevor knew exactly what buttons to push in getting the confession. So glad he had the hindsight to record it, that is the end of Mr. B. one way or the other he is gone. Sanchez failed again, this time by being greedy wanting Trevor's head has cost him the kill he needed, Sanchez is finished once word gets out of the assassination attempt on Trevor failed, the bombings are world wide news, and the cartel is watching. Bridget is still holding her trump card against Sanchez, she has just about used all her 'nine lives' and still needs the Kookaburra. I can see this wrapping up in 3-5 chapters -

Give it up guys, it is a ploy the goat uses here and then to irk his readers and inflate his ego! When I agreed with another here that the author left not one cliffhanger I did not mean it was free, rather then there were more then one cliffhangers involved. Suck on that Goat! -
Actually, I think he got off lightly considering he was not remorseful nor apologetic for his actions. However, I think this will follow him for the rest of his life, that may be justice enough. I imagine he can not go anywhere without being pointed out, or have to look behind his back everywhere he goes. This will haunt him.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY MYR !!! .................. 35 is young my friend! Have a good one!

................ I agree also, I thought it was Jessica that would go home and it would be between Josh and Phillip. Personally I think Josh sang to many 'old' songs. I also expect Phillip to take the crown.

Circumnavigation (99+22) Wheels within Wheels
Benji replied to C James's topic in C James Fan Club's Topics
.............Hehehe, I actually did think of Julie in this, but thought it might be a bit to far stretched. Julie is supposed to be in Tahiti, and all though earlier I suspected her in being involved with Bridget, I thought she had a almost loving relationship with Trevor, I thought I could be wrong many times. And once even suspected that Julie was in fact on of the Cartels head. But that sounded to far fetched to me. -

Okay, now a general question; did everyone like Bridget posing for photos with the toy boat, with Kookaburra in the background? ................... That is a good one, my only take on it is Bridget planned to send them to Sanchez indicating the failed attempt by Mr. B if he didn't succeed, thereby holding her a trump hand over Sanchez with the cartel. Plus the bombings would have made the world by now and the cartel knows that Sanchez is after Trevor who is maybe desperate for the kill with his assassin without the promised head. Bridget is playing a duel game here, but always to her advantage. If Mr. B. fails, she can moan at it and Sanchez would be gone, leaving her his space, if Mr. B. is successful she can clamor that she helped in it, and destroying any evidence of deceit by Arnold. And removing any such evidence would be to her benefit also. Because we all know that Bridget is in it for herself and nothing will stand in front of her, she is more ruthless than Sanchez and knows it. -

..... I totally spaced the bubbles scene, if I had given it a second look I might have realized Mr. B's need for additional training. But I see a problem for him, his shoulder is injured from the parachute jump and If I know Trevor he is not going to stop. That is going to be hard for him to hang on and it will not allow someone to swim back at night and get into the boat, how long can he hold on? And how much oxygen is in that tank? I might guess he has plans that include a rope attached underneath and plans to repel aft and board when he thinks they are asleep. It would actually be funny if he slipped and found himself alone in the ocean without Trevor or Shane ever knowing he was there. Shark food!!! Next problem I see is how is he going to make Trevor's death look like an accidental shark attack, not anymore it will have to be a gruesome beheading without the novelty of an accident? Unless he plans on meeting up with Bridget in the other boat with his supplies, he certainly can not be carrying all that while submerged under the boat. But Bridget already looks ready to flee with her making arrangements with the charter air flight. So I see her orders to Mr. B were for him to kill, behead and set the boat on fire til it sinks. Still I have no Idea how Mr. B. plans to escape from his self imposed carnage, unless Bridget has someone else in mind to pick him up. Billy? Out at sea? Well I can hardly wait until next week, on the same bat channel, at the same time. -

.............. The police did not search the boat very well if Mr. B is aboard, as the cliffhanging end the chapter indicates as told by the narrator. When Fowler finds out that Trev and Shane are at sea he is going to flip out. But I think there might be someone else on-board, perhaps the Custom agent? I hope those shark sticks are nearby! And Bridget still has to destroy or go aboard the boat Another great CLIFFHANGER, from the King !!! -

...................Hmmm Interesting assessment! If Grundig's role in this is with the bad guy's it would make sense that Bidget and Mr. knew that Trevor was on the Kookaburra instead of the Atlantis, even though Mr. B fitted the tracking device on the Kookaburra and it is now on the Atlantis. That would definitely solve the problem of how Mr. B and Bridget zeroed in on the Kookaburra instead of the Atlantis. -
................Happy Birthday Q-man!!

Circumnavigation (99+21) The Grand Feint
Benji replied to C James's topic in C James Fan Club's Topics
Things do heat up a tad in the next chapter. How many sticks of dynamite did Basingstoke give Bridget? Three. How many did Billy deposit next to Kookaburra? one. Where might the others be? Also, when Billy picked up Basingstoke, what are they talking about? Trevor and Shane are indeed safely ensconced in the police station. And, Bridget just parked a car outside of a police station. Incidentally, the number of police stations in Geraldton is, at that moment, one. So, same station. And why has Bridget having her picture taken with a remote controlled model boat, which she promptly threw away? No cliffhangers, but plenty of unanswered questions. I think y'all will like the next chapter, Wheels within Wheels. ................Only need one stick of dynamite to kill a person in front of a trash can! As for the other two sticks I believe Bridget will use them to sink the Kookaburra, and of course to kill Trevor. As for the remote controlled model boat, I think the only reason Bridget had those pictures taken was because she wanted Sanchez to see them, as she is planning to blow the boat up with it's occupants. Perhaps a diver will come into play here and try to plant the propane tanks and dynamite package underneath the hulls of the boat. (Julie?) Perhaps, Trevor hears an unexpected noise from beneath his boat and jumps overboard to search and release the bomb. The failed confrontation will make Bridget move against the Kookaburra in a head long a final meeting. Here I think Billy will meet his demise with a shark powered stick, Bridget will flee. How is that goat??? -

...............Aha, I was right, Mr. B ditched his plane!! My next guess? Bridget plans on killing Mr. B via a trash can with dynamite stick. With him out of the picture, the cops will assume the danger is over and relax some. Then Bridget and Billy will resume the hunt for Trevor. Sanchez will be informed of the tragic accident of Mr. B and Bridget will tell him she is going to handle it herself minus the head trophy, after all she just wants the evidence gone, Trevor is just an annoyance to her at this time. It may be a ploy by Bridget to replace Sanchez via the promised missing head to shame him with the cartel, insuring his demise from within. Great chapter revealing somewhat of the next one! -
Circumnavigation (99+20) Queen's Gambit Accepted

............As Henry said in an earlier chapter; "Henry grinned. “I’ll need to get a few hours’ training – I’ve never driven a speedboat. So, we need radar," Hmmm, could this a been a forewarning by Henry of Mr. B's intentions?? As for me, I’ve got a powerboat lesson tomorrow. Dirk approved renting the boat when we need it, so we’re good to go,” Henry said. It seems the goat is goading us that Mr. B. needs a lesson in speedboat training. -

..........Therefore, it came as a rather rude shock when, a year after his death, I found a receipt for fiberglass resin, concealed hinges, and a spring-latch in his papers. Arnold was a man who never liked to get his hands dirty, so I could see only one reason for him to attempt a job himself; installing a hidden compartment. She is talking about the Aries which Arnold sold to Rachel before his death, so the Kookaburra is her designation. -

............... Aha, what a surprise having Bridget back in the picture visiting Trevor! Meanwhile Shane and Trevor need to search the Kookaburra for the hiding place. That will be Sanchez's downfall with the cartel, the B's will fail, but not without giving Trevor and Shane a scare. Great chapter, CJ -
................Hummm, interesting story so far, I can see angst coming and many problems that will be resolved, looking forward to more.

Not what you think! I guess not, sounds like Derrick is a Federal agent investigating a corporate spy agency. Although the death toll is a bit on the high side for that unless it was foreign based. The housekeeper will have quite a mess to clean up Looking forward to more, never knew you wrote Joe!

............Great story, Jacob surprised me with non-caviler attitude at being caught by his mother. Looking forward to more.
