....................You are almost funnier then the incidence that happened the day before we left Big Bear Lake. (BTW, we stayed at million dollar home in tune of over $1,550 for a 3 night stay). I was accousted by some guy that said 'Hey, John haven't seen you since H.S.' I knew something was up, I am only called 'John' by my family (middle name thing since I was named after my father) I was still surprised and at first thought he was a fellow inspector that I worked with in the city, but the name thing clued me in that my brother had set me up. Turns out he wanted a smoke, and I was the only one with the, and it was a prank! Next day, another strange thing happened to me. The afternoon before we had been out (trying to) fishing on a pontoon boat at the lake. I suffered a bit of sunstroke because it was hot out and I took my shirt off and got burned. I got back to the place and was shivering, felt hot and nauseous, didn't eat and I did not sleep well that night. Come 6am I felt good but looked ragged, we decided to go out and eat breakfast, but I only wanted tea. After we were finished a lady came up to me and put her hands on my shoulders and proclaimed herself to be 'in touch' with Jesus and said she could tell that 'I was hurting and hiding and that Jesus would save me'. I thought I was being punked again, but my brothers expressions told me otherwise. I almost said 'Look lady, #1 I'm Jewish, #2 I just came out to my brothers as being gay', instead I thanked her for her concern and left.

.................It was strange, I did not have to do this, I tested my nephew of all people! Why I did that I don't really know, but I I had to do something, I'm living on borrowed time. He told me he didn't care and held my request to keep silent, when I told him I was going to go out, he smiled and it said shouldn't be a problem. But then why again is Spielberg formatting him in films?

......................How true, I just thought it was right at this time, you have to consider his is a family that is VERY conservative, I said screw it and came out to them and was very surprised at their response.

................... I already saw this coming, so I'm not surprised at all!! On the other hand I just got back from a 3-day jaunt up at Big Bear Lake with another annual trip with my brothers. I decided to tell them about me It went well, no one knew or suspected.

..................Nope, I doubt very much there is going to be a sequel. I think that Trevor and Shane will tell Greg (hopefully out of Grundig ear range, whom I'm beginning to find suspect thanks to Wildone) of the tape and it is decided that the tape is too much of a threat to our young voyagers. Using the 'old antique doll' as a fodder of the discovery of the tape, that would leave them out of the danger of the cartel, but maybe not Bridget. CJ left us a clue with disclosing the 'doll' after all, it was not discovered until Rachel's arrival in Australia by Ned, who sold it to a dealer. What if the story of his demise by relatives and the discovery was turned over to the police, and then the FBI? The cartel would have no reason to suspect Trevor of a 10 year old tape and see the plot as as it was, Bridget wanted Trevor killed to implicate his father and nothing more. Plus she lied to them about finding it destroying it, and killing Trevor and delivering his head to Sanchez. (or did I miss that part of her being victorious in her conquest?) Even if she didn't state that she had secured the tape, Sanchez's men knew she had implied she secured Trevor's head for him, the cartel would know hear about this. I believe Bridget made a mistake about not killing Trevor afterall.

.......... Well, what an interesting chapter, now we know of 6 other crooked policemen, but that was ten years ago! As deduced by a fellow reader the heavy substance was indeed gold and I think leaving it as an anchor is a great idea. The best hidden items are often in plain site. Keeping the tape secret is another good idea, but keeping its discovery from shedding light on Trevor and Shane is very much needed. Perhaps, if they only involve the FBI, they can hide the source. Maybe they can claim they found it in Bridget's guesthouse. The asset list poses no problem for Trevor and Shane as it only names Bridget and Arnold. Haven't heard from Rodriquez in awhile, maybe he can help out!! Great chapter CJ, Wow 130 chapters already, I cannot see how you can wrap this up too soon, you have press conference and a circumnavigation to complete, along with a couple of cliffhangers still to add. I still wonder if we will see Julie again!

I will be sorely pissed if this is so, count on me not replying if this is so!

Though with 8 chapters to go, it'll be closer to two years than three when it concludes. Well with a couple of 'delays' and cliffhangers it could very well reach into 3 years!!!

....................Closing in on 3 years on this story, you'd think the goat would recognize his faults in denial about using cliffhangers. Instead he has used the mantra enough where his denial is firmly entrenched between those evil goat ears.

................ At first I thought Jacob was being paranoid, overly protective (rightfully so concerning his brother) and jealous. However, his gut instinct was right on as the story progressed. I was actually surprised that the 'new' freinds would try include the youngsters in the antics they sought. Nicolas and Matthew are clueless on the danger they almost faced and will be upset if Jacob decides that they shouldn't go to the theme park. I wonder how this will work out? Then there is dear old mom, hopefully she didn't run to some frigging 'church' and will try to cure her boys with help! Great chapter!

........... Hmmm, I agree hope it is gold, poor Trevor is out $200.00 and an accumulator tank! I really hope they never see the tape, if they do and it is found out they could be in a lot of trouble. The goat left a scenario though, what if they contact Fowler and together they use the story of the antique doll found ten years earlier as containing the hidden tape? Then tape was turned over to the authorities by a concerned owner of the doll. Being that the Aussies have a informant within their ranks, if the story came from that source and way, Trevor would be off the hook. And it would fit that the Aries was damaged and the hull replaced where the doll was found ten years ago. The cartel would assume that Bridget was only trying to kill Trevor to implicate Dirk, and she never had another motive, in their eyes, there was no incriminating evidence and she did not retrieve a non-existent tape aboard the Aries. Their anger will be swift towards Bridget who most likely will have an ear closer to the Aussies then the cartel has and makes a quick desperate exit. That is where the real fun will begin for Trevor and Shane. Great Chapter CJ! Great chapter CJ!

Yep, it is a hoax!

.....Boy am I coming late, sorry my body seems to have decided to take a week off with a very painful kidney/bladder/urinary infection. I won't get graphic, but sleep deprivation produces some awesome hallucinations trips. Ned has given himself up, Shane was a bit right that he will use 'old' equipment' to re-fit, the next logic point is that he indeed has the old hulls off the Aries in the storage yard somewhere. The narrator states; Trevor was getting ever closer to the truth, though he remained blissfully unaware of one critical fact; if he and Shane were ever to attain the secret that they were seeking, that knowledge would mark them for death via the entire cartel. At the moment, Bridget and the cartel sought to destroy the boat, and thus the tape with it. He and Shane were in danger mainly due to their proximity to it. However, if they viewed the tape, they would become the personal targets of one of the world’s largest and most ruthless criminal organizations – one with global reach. So the only logical explanation is that Trevor and Shane never see or find the tape, that customs and Nate have found a 10 year old hull, given that the cartel has a plant in the Australian infrastructure. The finger will point to a lying Bridget and the fact that Trevor and Shane are innocent of any knowledge, thus the cartel needs not to deal with them. That leaves Bridget in a problem, she has to flee and has nobody to have at her side as she prematurely killed Billy. Bridget is resourceful, but there are no characters left for her to lean on. There is no reason for her to go after Trevor anymore other then revenge, the only thing I can think of is that Julie resurfaces. Nice chapter CJ!
