On the other hand, I don't believe Watkins is the real big boss. I think it's the robotic voice Jasper heard the last time.

Yeah, I'm expecting something like that too. Maybe after all, @J.El's lover, Connor will come handy and stir up some storm that will only bring Rusty too see things better? Maybe a tumult in the campus will make Rusty realize that one can't figure out its whole life depending only upon the bad days.

Well, to be honest, I wasn't expecting @Laura S. Fox to be merciful today. Once she starts her I'll-Hurt-My-Readers journey, she takes all the time in the world to enjoy the ride. People are crowding around Rusty and Matty a little too much. But then, Zoey is right too. If you don't try again means maybe you never cared much in the first place. So yeah, the friends-gang needs to keep pushing. Matty is hurt in the worst way possible and Rusty needs an outlet for all his bottled up frustration and anger. Oh, I wish pray Rusty doesn't see Matty as the vent that he needs.

Rusty's strong love for me pulled me here first, again. 🤗

Okay everyone, move along. Detective Joie is here. Yikes, this is a complicated case! I need to do some digging before things get out of hand. Jasper is only the tip of the iceberg. I wonder how many misguided and trapped youths have lost their lives or souls to these demons of unearthly darkness. This is a severe case of multiple murders, human trafficking, sexual abuse, fraudulence and god knows what else. They've destroyed countless lives and are aiming for more. We have Hudson, an extremely capable officer on the field and Otis may not be in an immediate danger, but we can't just sit back and wait for the horror to unfold. We need to get all hands on deck and help Hudson as much as possible. Corporal @Doha, you and I will keep all the suspects, minor or major ones, under our critical surveillance. Just try and keep your hands off from Otis's man, Hudson and also, my man, Rusty; and we are good. And FTO @Mattyboy, keep those reporters at bay. Any information regarding this case shouldn't leak out or else we will end up jeopardizing the case, risking many lives. Keep an eye out for that notorious Xpress and it's owner/reporter/editor/everything, @J.El. All right guys, lets go, go, go!

I don't know, I really don't know what to say! The situation is too chaotic to make a comment right now. After reading this chapter, I do feel for Rusty but more than that I feel exactly like Rusty; and it's a good thing from a reader's perspective. I guess it's the rock bottom emotion, right? Back from the hospital, you have a headache, your skin feels sticky, you smell badly and you haven't eaten anything but you are too nauseated to put food into your mouth. With all this, people around you, "your people", are talking little too loudly and expecting you to be able to turn on the engine and come back to earth just because they are there for you. You suddenly feel like you never knew these people. Or maybe all along, they knew you to be someone who perhaps never existed! The complete severance of your mind from your personality and slightly from your memories - I think that's what feels like to be at the rock bottom. I think that's how Rusty feels. And astonishingly, that's how the chapter is making me feel. I just don't wanna open up my thoughts because right now, they are messy and ugly. I don't want to access my corky nature either! I feel angry, very angry towards Roy but I still don't wanna analyze the overall situation and subdue my anger. Maybe August would help Rusty, maybe Johnathan and the boys would help him. But at the moment, I don't want a single person near him. Oh god, the last time I was this angry was when Henry was pointedly avoiding Richard in The Secret History. I love when a writing hits me this much. I think it has to do with the sudden, yet timely and a perfect depiction of the raw-Rusty that's making me so unsettled. Okay, I'm talking gibberish. All I want to say is, @Laura S. Fox, great writing. ❤️ P.S. I like the fact that Matty isn't all wrapped up about how Rusty treated him. He can think regarding his own mistakes too, at such a tensed situation and that's a mature personality for you.
