I'm now a regular at being late! 😞 This was a fun should-I-make-a-move chapter. While reading it, I remember one of my Otis-ish experience of my college days. So, I had a huge-ass crush on this sophomore dude when I was a freshman. 🤭 And our library had an elevator that had mirrors fixed on all four inside walls. Long story short, after weeks of gawking at him in the hallways and those embarrassing double back to rush past him, I got the opportunity of sharing the elevator with him. He was headed for the 3rd floor and me for the 4th. Just the two of us, so sensual. Well, sensual at first but a lifelong embarrassment later. I stepped into the elevator first, so I was standing behind him and obviously was scanning him from head to toe. But he seemed piqued as he tsked his way out on third floor. It hurt me as I believed I had the top notch espionage skill when it comes to tracking hot men, until the elevator doors closed. I saw my bulging eyes and flared nostrils on the mirror and let out a muffled yelp. So that's how I ended up being a nightmare for my hot college crush! See Otis, there are people like you in the world. You're not alone. Hmm, Otis starting to think of Hudson as a, well, ass-hound is sort of inevitable. I wonder how Jackie will react the next time he is with Hudson. And that Utah dude is showing way too much attraction towards Otis. That's suspicious!

Rusty can beat up Connor you know, if he tries to hurt Matty in any ways, verbally or physically. The sight of rage brusting out of an all-time-happy-time person can be peed-in-my-pant level scary. Matty needs to tell Rusty about Connor's plans or things may go out of hands and into authority's hand! I knew it, I knew August will be a good influence for Rusty, even though there will be some initial turbulence. Rusty's mother isn't very nice, is she? Being stuck in the past is one thing but letting anything get into the way of a mother's love for her caring son is never justifiable. Plus Mother Parker seems to be a manipulative person. God, I'm scared. And I think she is going to guess August as Rusty's girlfriend. And to soothe past the situation, Rusty may pretend that's the case. Matty will be hurt, he may not say a thing, but he will be hurt. Even the bad, messy stuffs are part of our life; the real deal as some says. And stopping your loved ones to get close to the truth can be hurtful. Oh, these boys need a little more trust and communication between themselves. Twisty torture is on its way, guy!

Notice how differently Jasper, a pumped up beginner, deals with work related people than Angel, a veteran hustler.
