I really enjoyed God's Own Country. The portrayal of loneliness and the sense of claustrophobia even in open fields were incredible. Don't get me wrong, I loved the book and the elegance of the language that has been used. But Luca Guadagnino is a master of visual arts. The film CMBYN leave such an immense and immortal impact on you! What I like most about the film lies in its palpable nature; you can easily sense how any object used in any of the scenes would feel under your fingertips if you were able to touch it.

I'm back! You thought I was gone, you thought I forgot my Rusty?! Never!! Like Katy Perry says, When I'm gone, I'm never really gone You think you're moving on But it won't be for long, you'll see... Come on Rusty, come back to me, your only true love. Now, all my emotions aside, this was such heartfelt chapter. I liked how Rusty talked to his mom, like a responsible, grown man. I think Ms. Wilder - of course Rusty's mom is named "Wilder" - will love her new house and her son-in-law and she might actually start showing her affection towards her son. Love the way both Matty and Rusty stood their ground in front of Roy Parker. Yeah, all we can do in life is "our part." If someone wants to be a part of our journey then they'll have to decide it on their own. Okay, now be honest, who else have googled madeleines, parfait and sotto voce? I like this relaxed, feelgood vibe for a change. Yeah, Connor is still out there, planning something wicked, Roy Parker is still a gigantic A-hole, mum-Parker is still in coma, Rusty haven't yet got the Han's blessings - so many things to do and so many battles to win but, but.....
