    A Game of Fate

Yes please 😀 I want Otis to be the dark horse of this story.

    A Game of Fate

Honestly, I don't want Hudson to be the hero of the story. I want Otis to free himself with his own vigilante mind and sharp, on spot thinking. I want Otis to fire the bullet that has Keres's name written on it.

    I'm on the same page!

Oh, I'm angry, mad and.... scared!!πŸ₯Ί I know this is a dark story and our kind author has already warned us for more pain before gain, but...... I wanna cry 😭 Otis is so damn smart; the way he is mastering is fear and saving his energy and sanity - Otis, you are the real hero of this story. Hudson, you big dumbo, why the heck did you say you have others knocking at your door?! Although, I don't think Huddy's answer would have changed anything, for Keres already had the third act and the actor saved in his creepy mind. Okay, I have no shame admitting that, even with @Laura S. Fox's signature promise of HEA, I'm peed-in-my-pant level scared!!! 😰
  5. Yeah, both of them are good. A&D is also a cool book. You can go for the book, it will take only a couple of sittings. You can also give a try to I Carry You With Me (2020) I also share the same emotional baggage for watching it with too much excitement. πŸ˜…
  6. And I'm late to the party! So Otis set fire to his mother-monster's house. Damn kid, you've got some stories up your sleeves!! Hudson has no clue about the surprises that are waiting for him from Otis. I never thought of Otis being in juvie as @Mattyboy said, but now I'm not so sure. Otis isn't a reliable narrator but still...I don't know. His nature isn't like someone out of juvie. And again, grandma doesn't seem too imaginary to me. God, Otis had a complicated and pitch dark past! Super excited for the next chapter. πŸ˜ƒ P.S. I was passing by The Cave about 36 hours age, you know The Cave - the private mansion Keres gifted @J.El and I heard shouting! It was like the worst kind of marital argument!! I heard a creepy mechanical voice screaming, "How can you have a hard-on reading about Otis and Hudson's first bdsm experience? Don't we two do enough? How could you do this to me El!!!" Should I pass the information to the Xpress? 😊
  7. Exactly! Almost all stories from horror romance genre use horror as the primary tension builder for its romantic leads. To get to experience the thrill of horror in a story which has a romantic angle is a rare occurrence.

Some delusions are hard to cure. I'm so sorry for you @J.El!

See, see, seeeeeee! What did I tell you about Angel?!!! But I still think Angel and Watkins aren't fully aware of the end games of their business. But I agree with @Blue Fan Lady, Angel my arse! πŸ˜’ I almost thought Otis would notice that Hudson was searching his history and things would take a little south turn; but maybe that's saved for later. Only if Hudson kept searching a bit longer, he'd know who that kid saved from ruins was. Oh, Otis had faced so much in his life. Wounds that weren't from the fire....did Otis's mom drunk-abused him? ☹️ Kids in his school were afraid of him. Otis has suffered so much! Atleast one good thing came out today - Hudson found a link to follow. P.S. "what cave Gideon Keres had crawled out of" That's easy! It's 'The Cave' - @J.El's 500 million dollar mansion on a 10 acres of private land. Watkins stays there too. πŸ˜‡
  10. I think I have made some mistake. I wanted to upload Close (2022) and in your quote of me, it's showing something different. Here's the one I wanted you all to see. πŸ‘‡ Let me know if you still won't see this film. If not, then why not? Because it's the "tragic gay" genre?
  11. No, more like director. Intimacy coordinator makes the work comfortable for the actors. They work on director's vision. My issue is that those scenes felt 1. redundant and 2. fake. There are films where no nudity or physical intimacy were show and yet they were, I don't know, warmer. I guess there weren't much tension either, between Andrew and Paul's characters I mean. In conclusion; director Andrew Haigh should have worked a little more on Harry's character and his story arch.
  12. It's not exactly a "gay film" but it hits home and hits hard. We've all been there, at least maybe most of us.
  13. Hmm...I don't know. For me, All Of Us Strangers was a 7/10 and I'll tell you way. First, Let me tell you about the things I liked - every scene were Andrew Scott interacted with his parents. Each of those scenes were brilliantly written. Also, they were effective tear jerkers. Few lines from Andrew, cut me so deep! For example, when Andrew told his mother, "I'm not lonely because I'm gay." Or when Andrew's mother asked if he were heckled in the streets for being gay and he said, it's not like that anymore; that no one says anything on street because he's gay. But then he took a pause and said, "some streets maybe." Oh and Andrew's conversations with his father - oh my god, I sobbed for 2 minutes straight. 😭 Also I liked how they kept the conversations in real time - the parents were taking updates on the world from Andrew. These are the things I liked and hence I gave the 7. But now, here are the nays for me.... First; the selection of colour palette, especially in the initial scenes. The use of red inside Andrew's apartment and electric blue outside his window were unnecessary and not much appealing. Even in terms of cinematography, the camera work wasn't really enhancing the heavy emotional subject matter. Secondly, Paul Mescal's character wasn't well written. Harry's story felt like a last minute addition to cater to the requests from the studio. I didn't much care for Harry or his relationship with Andrew except for the one moment when we were provided with the information that Harry basically died of loneliness (and overdose, but you get my point). Thirdly, and this isn't too important of a point but still....the way media talked about Andrew and Paul's intimate scenes in the movie - I ended up very much disappointed. I'm not saying this because the scenes weren't enough erotic for me but because I didn't sense the intimacy between the two of them. Their love making seemed heavily scripted and clinical. Hence I chopped off 3 points. P.S. If you liked this movie so much, I have a recommendation for you. Watch Close (2022). It's not a queer film, not exactly. But it will hit home. Hope you'll like it.
  14. If I do get to meet them, I'll want them all dead; killed by the land's law. πŸ₯°
  15. Oh god, @J.El, how many men do you want?! I don't think it's very healthy to tempt your hubby Keres like this!!!
  16. Just because you say it first, doesn't make your lies all true. Now I get why you were so cold around Watkins - you already had Keres all for yourself. 🀭
  17. Not sure, but I want Otis to have his own separate and not all entangled.
  18. Well, hello Mr. Gideon Keres, welcome to the story. Oh and by the way, I want you dead. πŸ˜‡ Please, please, please, oh please πŸ™ Please let Oits's "gun nut" be a MacGuffin! I want Otis to fire the magic bullet that will go through Mr. Creep Keres's skull. And Otis need not worry, as I'm pretty sure Keres doesn't bleed warm blood but some sort of cold acid. That man has nothing warm running through his veins. The story is getting more and more critical! Watkins surely has some attachment with Jackie, but his desire to be the tougher boss outruns his logical mind - considering he has some sort of mind. I wonder if Watkins really knows the totality of Keres's business - just a thought. I'm afraid for both Jackie and Jasper. Please let them be safe. 😟 Hudson on the other hand needs to dig deeper into Otis's past. There are reasons for why that mind works so differently. You need to spend sometime on Otis, hudson, and not just with Otis.
  19. Nope, it's Rusty Han J. ❀️ And neither you nor @Doha has any right here, to have an opinion or offer some advice. Period.
  20. I hope it's option 2 🀞
  21. I believe @Laura S. Fox has planed and plotted far more pain for us all πŸ˜–
  22. Nah, my suggestion for you is far better. Anyways, I've Rusty, so I don't need anyone else, not anymore. 😊
  23. Good idea! Better buy one for myself before all the good ones are off the shelves.
  24. I fear the same! 😭
  25. Hmmm πŸ€”..... I strongly disagree with our dear author in one case!!! She said, "Because it was the only way to make those assholes behind the murders pay." No, those murderers aren't even living beings to have an asshole. They are blackholes; long lost causes that exists only to take everything inside and turn them into matter of utter darkness, with no trace of light. These people/holes shouldn't be just jailed or killed, but as a punishment, they should be instantly robbed off of all their abilities to feel any kind of joy, happiness, hope, excitement, pleasure, along with their abilities to inflict any kind of harm to any other living or non-living being - if there is such an inescapable exile out there, that should be their destination. And I will curse them with immortality, once they are exiled. 😑 Sorry, I got too angry! I feel really bad for Jackie, he is a good guy. @J.El, leave Watkins for he is a hole πŸ•³οΈ and make true love with Jackie. Hehehe, I like this new spy Otis. He should wear a racoon-like mask. He will look so cute stealing information like a cunning spy. ☺️ What if Angel is the boss with the metallic voice?! Or maybe, he is a son of the big boss?!!!!! I don't feel very positive about Angel 😟 Hudson, you big man, you need to be more careful with your choice of words when around Otis. Why do you have to slip out marriage when you still think of Otis is an "accident", "beautiful" but accident nonetheless! You still think that eventually you'll have to leave Otis for his own good - not fine by me.
